WARNING: TOTAL SCAM! Avoid carflexi.com and yourent.al at all costs! 🚨
​Do not rent from these companies! We booked our car through Carflexi, who directed our booking to YUORENT in Albania. Both of these companies are highly unprofessional and collaborate to scam tourists with fake, non-existent fees.
​Our experience was a complete nightmare:
​The Bait-and-Switch: The car we received was completely different from what we had booked through Carflexi. On top of that, YOURENT demanded an extra €300+ at the counter. When I complained, they told me I could cancel if I wanted, but they would keep my €525 booking fee. They essentially hold your deposit hostage.
​The Return Scam (Fake Fines): When returning the car, they hit us with an outrageous €430 fine, claiming we drove on an unpaved road. In reality, we simply drove down a tiny, unpaved stretch of road to get to a nice restaurant for a family dinner. It is a completely made-up excuse to steal more money.
​Our 3-week vacation in beautiful Albania was otherwise absolutely perfect, but these two unprofessional companies were the only dark cloud. We will definitely visit Albania again, but we will steer completely clear of both Carflex and You Rent. Save your money and peace of mind—book with someone else!

Daten im Angebot falsch:
- Soll: Station im Terminal, Ist: außerhalb des Flughafens, ca. 10 min Fußweg
- Soll: Faire Tankregelung, Ist: Tank war leer, beim abgebeben zu viel im Tank
Mit diesen Daten hätte ich das Auto nicht gebucht.

Laut Vertrag kein Off-Road erlaubt,
- im Norden Albaniens sind ca. 1/3 der regulären Straßen Schotterpisten
- Laut Auto-Telematik sollen wir Off-Road unterwegs gewesen sein, wo die Schotterpiste aufhört und Off-Road beginnt war mir nicht klar und konnte vom Vermieter auch nicht erklärt werden
So musste ich ein zusätzliche Gebühr zahlen. Es scheint das Geschäftsmodel dieser Vermietung zu sein, das Auto günstig zu vermieten und dann zusätzliche Kosten zu verlangen.

Laut Vertrag sollen auch bei stärker verschmutztem Auto eine zusätzliche Gebühr bezahlt werden - das konnte ich mit Verweis auf die Schotterpisten aber ablehnen.

Zustand des Mietwagen war in Ordnung
