Multiple appointment cancellations

Multiple appointment cancellations. Did not attach starter ground wire correctly causing intermittent starts. Charged for a start relay and diagnosis during re-diagnosis that was not bad. Asked for refund from the warranty department for the re-diagnosis and got no response. Took car to a reputable national shop chain and told them to keep it for a week or until they could figure out the issue. $125 later, ground wire inserted properly and have not had one problem since. Never trust what they say. Nation wide scam artists that don't stand behind their guarantee. Google reviews is my next stop.

The mechanic Hector R did not show up…

The mechanic Hector R did not show up for the appointment. The excuse Wrench gave me was that the mechanic had an emergency, and the only option I had was to wait for another week with a rescheduled appointment. I WILL NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY, and will warn other customers about the way this company takes responsibility. I have a recorded call of the conversation with the customer support representative Mr. A.J and Mr. Mark ( and they sounded the same on the phone)

I scheduled an appointment for the 23rd…

I scheduled an appointment for the 23rd of March at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. I called to check in and see where my mechanic was they told me that they rescheduled my time to 11:30 to 1:40 p.m. then I called again at 2:00 p.m. to ask where was the mechanic then they told me that they had rescheduled. And no time was I alerted before time that they would change my times or they would reschedule me poor communication from this company this is not the way to do business and now I'm without my vehicle even longer it's better to take your car into a shop to actually have it worked on because this company does not respect you or your time.

I've never received such terrible service...

I've never received such terrible customer service until I attempted to have my car worked on by this company. The mechanic was extremely dismissive, and talked openly about how many issues I'll have with this brand of car in the future. The thermostat he replaced was a faulty part, and I had to reschedule 3 different times for them to come back and fix the damage.

I fought with customer service about payments and they were extremely dismissive of my concerns. At one point, we had an appointment scheduled for 10:30am. I received a text at 11am saying the parts were unavailable and I would need to reschedule again. The next closest appointment time was 4 days away. They claimed they had no other technicians in my area to send out. I cancelled everything and disputed the original charges with my bank for failure to complete a service.

They changed my appointment four times

They changed my appointment four times. The last time ,I called them they stated that a mechanic will be at my house at 1:00 pm. I received a confirmation instead of 1:00 pm. The time frame will be 12:30 to 2:30 pm. I check the site and that time was changed to 5 to 7pm. I called and they said they didn't have a part needed to repair my vehicle. They never told me that. I will never ever deal with thim again. Totally unprofessional.

I DON'T RECOMMEND…

I was inconvenienced twice by this company, and they held no regard for that inconvenience! I had a scheduled appointment on 03/16, they canceled my appointment, and rescheduled for 03/17. A mechanic was supposed to come between 11:30 am-1:30 pm. I had to reach out to them to find out no one was coming!! The same excuse was used as the one on 03/16, the mechanic had a family issue come up...TWO DIFFERENT MECHANICS BY THE WAY!!! I spoke with customer service who advised they could RESCHEDULE ME YET AGAIN, BUT COULD OFFER NOTHING FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!!! I will not be doing business with this company EVER AGAIN!!! They were extremely dismissive, showed no concern for the inconvenience, and collectively delivered a pitiful and infuriating experience.

On January 25 Wrench messed up my car

On January 25, 2025 Wrench came out to put a valve cover gasket in Honda Accord in San Antonio, Texas. The technician broke the fuel filter along the way and the car wouldn't drive over 20 mph without hesitation and had major problems starting. Called their company and they refused to pay for car rental while I waited for their technician to come back and fix the car. The technician came back and 2nd time on January 28, 2025 to fix the high pressure fuel pump and get the car running. The car was doing the same thing as on January 25, 2025. I had the car towed to Honda Dealer and emailed Wrench. I emailed them again the next day with the cost to fix. Honda said the valve cover was leaking and showed pictures and needed replacing, and the fuel pump was improperly repaired and need replaced. Wrench would not respond and I had to get the work done so that I could turn in the rental car that Wrench refused to pay for. Now Wrench refuses to pay for the repairs. I don't get it, gave them 2 chances to fix the car and they couldn't. And they refused to respond appropriately to emails telling them what was going.
Now this goes to court and I may have to sue the mechanic for the work. Something is wrong here.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Booked service. Received quote and confirmed a service. Earliest available was a week out. I agreed and they sent confirmation and took my payment information. Booking was scheduled for Monday morning. They called at 7:00pm Friday to tell me they were canceling my appointment because my car was to old. Apparently they do not work on cars older than mid nineties. However they waited a week with my confirmed appointment before letting me know. And now it’s Friday night and I cannot even attempt to locate another mechanic until Monday. So I will be down a. At for two weeks because they couldn’t be troubled to post on their website that they do not work on older cars and they allow bookings and create confirmed appointments for older cars.
This was not some sort of major diagnostic or repair. Just a water pump.

Worry free

Wrench Mobile Mechanic provided excellent service! They saved me time and worry by coming directly to me and getting the job done efficiently. The mechanic was professional, knowledgeable, and had my car up and running in no time. Highly recommend their convenient and reliable service!

Jason did a great job with my truck

Jason did a great job with my truck. He was able to diagnose the issue with my brake light and brakes and fixed the issue on the same day. He communicated to me what he was doing and he was very friendly and professional. I would recommend him.

Charged for Services Not Rendered (and Rendered incorrectly)

Nearly 2 months ago I made the mistake of using this company. I had used Your Mechanic MANY times in the past, but since the merger with Wrench; the company has gone down hill faster than he Hindenburg.

I was (twice) Charged for Services Not Rendered – No Refund

Despite Multiple Promises
I had two separate service appointments with Wrench, Inc., and both resulted in major issues that Wrench has refused to resolve.

On December 4th, A service technician came to install a headlight on the passenger side; he installed it on the drivers side (Face Palm). I must be too patient, as I gave them another chance to come out; since they'd promised a refund to me for the initial appointment. I should have known better... On
December 17, 2024 (Job #248740) – A different technician failed to complete the requested repair but still charged me $276.55. When confronted, he admitted it was an error and even called Wrench support in front of me to process a refund. However, despite multiple phone calls (6+) and emails (7+), I never received my refund.
Wrench has demonstrated extremely poor customer service, dishonest billing practices, and a complete failure to take responsibility for their mistakes.
I trusted Wrench to provide professional, at-home automotive services, but instead, I was fraudulently charged for work that was never completed. If you value your time and money, I highly recommend avoiding Wrench.
I have now escalated this to Chase for a charge dispute, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and the Better Business Bureau (BBB). If Wrench does not take action, I will continue escalating.
📌 Summary:
Two appointments, two failures, zero refunds.
Technicians admitted to mistakes but Wrench refused to refund.
Horrible customer service – no accountability.
Escalating to Chase, CFPB, and BBB.
I will update this review based on how Wrench handles the situation.

I have tried to reach out to the…

I have tried to reach out to the company on 4 different occasions after my mechanic came. It was a less than positive experience with the mechanic and instead of my blasting a negative review I tried to fix the issue by other means and nothing. My concerns with my vehicle was not even listened to. He was in more of a hurry to leave rather than take the time to figure out the issue, and for 10 minutes of time I was still expected to pay the $150. It was a bad experience

I was lied to by the mechanic David at your mechanic. He told me the pulley for my tensioner belt was not removable therefore not fixable. It turned out to be a complete lie. I had my friend who is a mechanic remove it and fix the part. This company charged me 150$ for a diagnostic stating that I had to change the whole part out. The mechanic even offered to work under the table outside the company. I could not recommend this company now to anyone after going through this distrustful service and stress and time. I will never use their services again and you shouldn't either. SCAM

This company is disgusting

This company is disgusting! I had a mechanic come out to do a diagnostic on my car. Initially I was going through my warranty to get the service done, which was changing the starter. The mechanic convinced me that I could have my car done sooner if I paid him upfront and he could give me my money back on the back-end through my warranty. Not knowing that he isn’t supposed to do that, I agreed. He took apart my whole engine to change the starter. While doing this he broke parts of my car that wasn’t broke to begin with. He put my car back together incorrectly and gave me more problems than I started with. After contacting wrench about the matter, they refuse to help with this situation. They haven’t contacted me back and every time I call them they tell me that I can’t speak to a supervisor and that they’ll just put in a follow up request. It’s been 3 months since this incident and nothing has been done. It’s disgusting and their mechanics are scammers!
