I have been pretty happy with he filters until recently, something has changed and these don't last longer than a week now. Used to get a month from a filter before the water started going sour, the last couple of filters only lasted a week. This has happened to 2 filters in a row, expensive! Something has changed for the worse. Very expensive and not happy

Expensive, inconsistent and really not that great. to begin with, the water tasted very good but increasingly despite the TDS tester showing only very low levels of bad stuff, water smells and tastes awful, either chemical or similar unpleasant smell. Do any of these filter systems actually work properly for long?

As mentioned by person below me, filters now last less.
They changed whats inside the filter its now mostly activated carbon and ionizing resins of two sorts where previously it was just one type of resins in higher quantity.
After contacting support they wrote to me from suspiciously looking emial, plus it was just pure lying and gaslighting on their side.
At this point im not buying again, will just buy separate active coal plus ionizing resin.

Our first filter lasted 2 1/2 months. Now our filters last less than a month. The latest filter put in 12/19 today is 1/5.
We’ve already had to shake our filter twice so the water could go thru. Our water w/o filter reads 60. We have contacted the company twice and they did send us replacement filters cuz we thought we had a bad batch, but same issue. The filters are not cheap. And our usage of water has not increased to account for shorter length of time . Are they making them cheaper but charging the same ? We’ll never know the answer to that question …….unless everyone complains 🤷🏻♀️
I have 32 cup dispenser
I have 32 cup dispenser. I believe it filters very adequately until it reaches about 20 ppm and than it emits a very strange taste that makes you not want to drink it, I wonder if this s calculated and designed into the filter so you are forced to purchase a new filter? I have no problem drinking water with a ppm of 120, but Zerowater doesn't give you that option like other filter systems do. If I knew they were playing this money game I would not have purchased it. I would not buy this unless you willing to buy a new filter every 3 or 4 weeks at $15 a filter.
Fish smelling water
After trying 3 filters we keep getting a fish smell in the water. Every one of them had the horrible smell at different intervals. 2 weeks and 3 weeks. So disappointing due to the high cost of the tank and filters. Scared we might be getting toxins in the water.

I purchased 3 water filters and a water dispenser costing around 95 pounds. I placed this on 26th Aughust and paid £7.50 for next day delivery. The 26th fell on bank holiday so the items should have been sent Tuesday 27th to be with my friend on the 28th. My friend still has not received any items in the post and we are now the 1st September. I have emailed numerous times and the company ask for product order number. I then forwarded the whole order receipt with all my friends information inc his name and address. I then get an email back stating they needed my friends details. I feel like I am being played around. When I check the order it has not even been posted. This product was purchased for my friend who I recommended zerowater too. BIG MISTAKE. I have tried phoning zerowater and they appear to have all their phones turned off so you can only send emails. I have ordered 2 times for myself recently and was happy with my order, however, my last experience with zerowater will be my LAST. I will now buy the generic water filters on Amazon that are the same as zerowater. I will not support this company any longer. I think itnis a disgrace that they still have not sent these items out to date. A final thing to mention when I had an email back from zero water they said that they have no order under my email address. This is crazy as on my order receipt it shows my email address. You could not make this up. It makes me very concerned that maybe they are trying to pocket this money. I will be reporting the issue to my bank on Monday. In my opinion AVOID!!!!!!!!

I placed an order on Bank holiday Monday this month and payed £7.50 for postage. This is for next day delivery. Today is Saturday and my order that come to nearly £100 has still not arrived. They have a phone number that does not work and you can only email them. This company is a disgrace. Due the time its taken and the fact it still has not been dispatched im beginning to wounder if this is a completely fraudulent company been set to steal people's money. If you do not want to lose your money then my advice is stay away from this company. RUBBISH AND A BIG SCAM
The water takes a long time to filter…
The water takes a long time to filter and repeatedly stops filtering. Water just sits in basin until it feels like filtering again. Filters do not last that long and when they begin to "go" the water smells like fish. Yuck! This is my 4th filter and have had the countertop pitcher for 9 months. I'm done!
disappointed with filters and taste
Originally when I got the water pitcher and filter, I was happy and the original filter seemed to last for a while. Now with every filter replacement there is a bad aftertaste in literally a week that some people describe as acidic/lemon, metallic, or rottenfish. Every time I made sure that I put in cold water too. I don't feel safe drinking water with that aftertaste because I don't know if it's harmless or not, but at this point I just want to ditch zerowater and their filter subscription for something that doesn't change after just a week.

I bought a 'Stainless Steel' pitcher which is actually plastic on the inside
The lowest PPM reading I had from zero water was 60 and the filter lasted only 2 months.
I will be complaining and asking for a refunding as the reason I bought their product was based on their claim to ' Filter microplastics'
Must update quality of service
I have had a zero water dispenser for months. We're happy with the quality of the water, but I have had two significant problems. One, I needed to update the credit card on file and after two frustrating phone conversations with a very tone deaf and unhelpful customer service agent, I was told to create a new account with a different email.
Totally unhelpful.
Two. I signed up for zero water because I like the idea of sending in the filters to be recycled. No one else offers this service. I was told today that you cannot apply recycled filters to a subscription order. So what is the point of having a subscription.
Culligan, you can do better than this. I'm totally fed up.
Best Buy This Year!
I spent a good few months looking into all the options before choosing Zero Water. It seemed to me to be the best countertop system currently available and I have not been disappointed. The water truly does taste good unlike the water from my friend’s reverse osmosis system. I’ve had it for 8 weeks now and the first cartridge lasted for 39 days- TDS meter read 002 at 30 days and 006 on 39th. To give some context, my tap water ranges between 254-282 TDS. I hit a bit of a blip however when I came to change the cartridge for the first time. The reading from my meter was now showing 146 TDS. Concluding that the cartridge was faulty I installed another one and got the same result. I contacted Zero Water and received a prompt response in which I was given a troubleshooting formula to identify the problem which they suspected was to do with the TDS meter. It didn’t seem to be that however so the customer care team at Zero Water immediately dispatched 2 more filters. This time when I fitted the new cartridge I noticed water dripping down from around the base of the holding chamber and realised that I hadn’t installed it properly. Having failed to screw it into place, the water in my jug was now only partially filtered. I felt a bit ridiculous when I had to explain this to Customer Services as changing the filter is hardly rocket science but there it is! My thanks to the team at Zero Water who were 100% invested in helping me to resolve the problem and for the 2 new filters that were given free of charge.

The last 16 filters I purchased should give me a reading of less that 6 particles. These filters and many before it start at 17 and raise to 37 in one day. My tap water has an average of 100-108 particles. I feel like I have no choice but to buy a better system. Maybe you should consider having someone else make your filters.
Filters smell of rotten fish after 3 weeks
I purchased a zero water filter last year. The filters, which are very expensive, last about a month for two people. I purchased another set of their filters and after 3 weeks we noticed a horrible fishy smell in our kitchen (we don't eat fish). It took us a while to realise it was the filter as we didn't believe it was possible. It happened with every filter we used. I then read online that others experienced this too. Anything smelling that bad cannot be good! We won't be using zerowater filters again.

I recently bought a zero water filter as I thought it would be better than bottled water. However the first filter i put in leaked so i had to get rid of that. The second one which has been in for about 3 weeks has run out and tastes disgusting. I spent about £80 on the jug and filters and would not recomend this to anyone.

I’ve spent a lot of time and money trying to get this system to work. The problems I’ve encountered are that the lids break easily, the threads to attach the filter to the plastic container don’t fit well and leak, so water isn’t being filtered and I have to keep reattaching the filter to the container. Then later, all of a sudden I see water leaking out of the top of the filter instead of dripping through the filter. Also, many times, the water isn’t registering as pure with the tester and I have to refilled the system to get to “zero” contamination.
I have purchased two systems and many filters over a two year period, and I’m confident I’ve given this a good amount of time to test the system. I’m definitely concerned that this company doesn’t care about their customers as I’ve tried emailing them regarding these issues and have never received a response.
I definitely will change water filter systems.
