Really terrible service, AVOID

Really terrible service. I recieved my £42 order stuffed into a large envelope from my hermes courier torn and damaged and missing items. I messaged the company immediately to try and get a return address as the items I had recieved I wasn't over the moon with them. The gift certificate and colouring page were badly blurred and the accessories that came with it, in my opinion not worth the money spent. The company ignored my email but I recieved an automatic email from them saying they had cancelled my order. Why cancel my order but not respond? This forced me to open a paypal claim which they also ignored. After waiting the recommended time paypal closed the case in my favour and refunded me.
This could have been rectified better had the company responded as I was happy to return the goods I had recieved as I had stated in my email. Would never use again and will never recommend to others. Avoid this company.

Rochelle, we take our feedback very seriously and are devastated to see this review, our first one star review we have had in 6 years of trading, but one is one too many. We have checked back and cannot see the message from you (did you use our website or e-mail direct?) as we respond in the early hours but always within 24 hours. We wonder whether the wrong Teddy Tastic was messaged (there are two in the market I am afraid). We can assure you that we have done nothing at our end to facilitate a cancellation, so are as baffled as you are, especially as you have received the goods. The Paypal emails had gone to our junk mail so were missed, something we have now rectified.

In six years of trading no one has ever sent our bears back (after holding hundreds of birthday parties too and providing thousands of children with our high quality products) and we can assure you the product is of the highest quality. We would of course have preferred to respond direct, but as mentioned above did not receive the e-mail in the first instance. Given a full refund has been processed and you have retained the goods, we can only apologise for this extremely unusual chain of events and offer you a further bear of your choice on us.
