Morgan and Morgan review and settlement

Jim Thompson here. The dates of my M and M experience is from March 25 2023 to December on2025. First WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MORGAN &Morgan. I was in a car wreck in March 2023 in which I was hit in the rear end of my car.I received severe whiplash and permanent lower back injuries and sciatica. I am 80 years old. So I contacted Brad Bradshaw law firm about my injuries. He then passed my case to M and M law firm in St Louis. They assigned my case to one of their lawyers then changed lawyers 3 times. Chis Desilets ended up with my case and held on to it for 2 1/2 years of which he did very little. I asked him to take my case to trial to which he adamantly refused. Finally after 2 1/2 years he had me fill out a disclosure form to which I did. Then nothing. He would not answer phone, text messages etc. Meanwhile I was sending him Dr’s diagnosis, a lot of information about car wreck, my injuries, photos of cars, chiropractic treatments, physical therapy etc. I did all the work. So finally he had me have a disclosure meeting with the person who hit me in rear end lawyer. Then again long period of silence. When there were no more excuses I emailed him and he informed me he had passed my case to yet another M and M lawyer. I was of course very disappointed. The new lawyer was Jeremy Collins. So again very little contact. It became obvious Jeremy nor his paralegal Don Stone new little about Geriatric permanent injury. They to adamantly refused to take my case to trial. They seemed to be working against me. So after some time they informed me that the insurance company had a settlement offer of $7000.00 of which I refused. So I was informed that if I didn’t accept the offer they would drop the case. They then told me they upped the settlement to $9000.00. There was substantial Medicare leins against the settlement. So being 80 years old and exhausted with it, I accepted the offer. When the invoice arrived it revealed that their fee, the liens had been paid and several other charges except the Chiorpratic bill that I would have to pay. So I received a check for $3400. I still had to pay the Chiorpractor. And then I received a bill from Medicare for $370 more. I contacted Jeremy Collins about them not paying that bill. Don Stone asked me to send him the bill for review. I did and never heard another thing from them. So after all was said done I ended up with approximately $2300. This settlement should have been $50,000. Due to permanent injuries and life style changes . I can no longer enjoy the activities I did before the car wreck.
