I’ve been buying from La Redoute for my…

I’ve been buying from La Redoute for my son since he was born and he’s now 4 years old, so I’ve had plenty of experience with their clothes over the years.

The quality has always been really good and the styles stay in line with current trends, so he looks smart without the clothes feeling over-designed or uncomfortable for a child. There also seems to be a sale running quite often, which makes it even better value.

Delivery is usually quick, considering the items come from France, and I’ve found returns straightforward. The only downside is the return postage fee, but the process itself is simple and hassle-free.

Overall, a reliable place for well-made children’s clothing that I’ve consistently come back to.

The first globe arrived very quickly…

The first globe arrived very quickly but unfortunately was damaged. I contacted the company the same day, and they sent out a replacement, which arrived the very next day. The delivery was extremely fast and the issue was resolved amicably.
The globe itself looks very nice, although I’m not entirely sure about the equator, which appears to be a simple blue sticker. Hopefully it stays in place over time. The map is very detailed and includes clear legends.
I bought the globe for my 4-year-old, so I’m hoping it proves to be durable. Overall, it was a very good buying experience.

I purchased some branded designer…

I purchased some branded designer clothes at a great discount for my teenage son. I found the ordering process to be easy, and the service and communication was excellent from start to finish.
Delivery was very fast, and everything has arrived well before Christmas, which I really appreciate. Im very pleased with the overall experience.
Based on the price, speed, and service, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Safaricart.com.

Misleading website

Awful experience – please avoid this company!
I honestly believed this was a European-based business, as the website gives the impression the company is in the Netherlands or the UK. I even checked the reviews here, which seemed legit, and felt reassured enough to order. I bought a chocolate-coloured coat as part of a birthday gift for my wife – but the shock came when I saw the tracking details: the item was being shipped from China.

Three weeks later, it finally arrived, and what a disappointment. The coat looked nothing like the photos online. It was supposed to be wool, but the material was cheap synthetic, poorly made, and cut so badly that it looked terrible. Honestly, it’s the sort of thing you wouldn’t even donate – it’s bin-worthy.

I contacted the company and, to be fair, they replied quickly. But the “solutions” were laughable: either 10% off and keep the item, or 50% store credit. The quality is so bad that even if they gave me a full refund and let me keep it, I still wouldn’t want it in the house.

To make things worse, the phone number on the website just goes straight to voicemail. I left a message but no response. I’m now waiting on proper return instructions for a full refund – and if they don’t provide them soon, I’ll be contacting my bank for a chargeback and flagging this company.

Learn from my mistake: don’t be fooled by the nice photos and reviews – this company is not what it claims to be.

Clothes are really good quality and delivery was ridiculously fast. Bought an outfit for my wifes birthday and it was delivered the next day.
Side note; she actually liked my choice. I wholeheartedly recommend this company

I’m really happy with the quality of…

I’m really happy with the quality of the custom transition lenses I ordered with my Mr Burbank Ray-Ban frames. I even received the original lenses separately for future use, which was a nice touch.

The glasses did take a couple of weeks to arrive, but since they were coming from Italy and I ordered custom lenses, I completely understand why. In my opinion, it’s absolutely worth the wait to get the exact lenses you want and all for an unbeatable price.

Communication throughout was great; once I contacted them, I couldn’t have been happier. 5 stars.

Avoid – Nearly £4,000 Held, No Refund After Weeks of Chasing

My wife placed two large orders with The Catering Centre on 15 July 2025, using her credit card and my debit card:
• Order #253488 – £3,190.18 (8 x Polar G Air Conditioners – paid on her credit card)
• Order #253489 – £797.54 (2 x Polar G Air Conditioners – paid on my debit card)
Total: £3,987.72

The website showed the items as in stock, but the following day we were told they were actually out of stock until 26 July. We replied immediately to ask if they could guarantee delivery by that date. They couldn’t, so we requested a full refund on 16 July.

Since then, we have had to chase this multiple times — emails sent on 17th, 21st, and 31st July. I was told on 21 July that the refund was being processed and would take 10–14 working days, which is unusually long. As of now:
• No refund confirmation has been provided
• No money has been received back on either card
• Communication has been vague and delayed

This has caused a serious disruption — especially with nearly £4,000 held up — and I’ve seen multiple other reviews describing the same issues: misleading stock availability, slow responses, and long refund delays.

I will be taking this up with my bank and credit card provider if the funds are not returned by Thursday, 7th August 2025 (tomorrow), and will update this review accordingly.

Really disappointed with the service and would not recommend using The Catering Centre based on this experience.

The Catering Centre has responded that someone would be in touch — this has not happened.

This reply appears to be more about managing public perception than resolving the issue. I have received no refund, no communication, and no follow-up despite their claims.

We have raised disputes with our respective card suppliers.

No refund from the company. Our respective banks recovered the funds.

First and foremost we do apologise for the stock issue.

This item is a direct item from Polar, like many of us distributors, the stock is linked to them, when they sold at the time you purchased it showed 12 in stock. Unfortunately, like all distributors, the stock update can be slow, this is a common issue across the board and can see this from other competitors of ours. What has happened, is when you have purchased these, it was in the height of the heat wave, therefore, being advertised as the cheapest on the internet, we sold hundreds, and so must of our competitors as the same time, by the time the order came to process the stock had depleted, we can only apologise for this. We can see that the refund was actioned on the 21st July and yes should have been with you by now, We will look into this immediately and I will make some someone from our team corresponds with you as soon as possible.

Once again our sincere apologises for the stock issue and late correspondence, we will update via email shortly.

Ordered the large oreo cake for my sons…

I ordered the large cookies and cream cake for my son's 18th birthday. It was enough for around 40 guests, and nearly everyone said the cake was delicious. Everything was perfect, from the price to the delivery, presentation, and taste.
