Appalling Service! Very disappointed!

I used Delightful Flora for my friend's birthday on 14th February. They arrived early, which wasn't a problem, but could have been. She reported the flowers were great. On the back of this, I then ordered flowers for Mother's Day to arrive on 14th March. They never turned up. Royal Mail confirmed that they had had them since 12th, but then they were lost. Four emails and a phone call later, in which I had to demand my money back, they have finally agreed to a refund. They claimed they didn't need to refund me as Royal Mail couldn't find the address. The address has been there for over 70 years and Royal Mail amongst other delivery firms have successfully been delivering there. Appalling customer services!! I will never use this company again!

Absolutely fantastic service!

Absolutely fantastic service!! My son was recently reviewed by Beth and her team. They were so patient and understanding and spent a lot of time explaining everything to him. He wasn't in any way rushed, none of this one appointment, one problem! I have such praise for Ceri and Nerys who spent ages reassuring him during the period of taking bloods. They were absolutely charming and so understanding! It's so unfortunate that the NHS can no longer provide this standard of care. Thank you!!

Great Customer Services!

After I wrote a very scathing review the other day only giving this company one star, I am now changing my rating to 5 stars. This is because yesterday, Diyar from customer services phoned me and politely took me through the reasons why I had given the car rental company such a poor review. She understood the problem and gave me ample time to explain why I had cancelled my booking. She took on board what I was saying and fully understood the reasons why not being transparent about the full cost of the deposit was a problem for concern. After the conversation, she told me that the remaining part of the payment would be returned to me. I think a company who takes time to read reviews and then acts upon them accordingly deserves praise. I will definitely consider this company in the future because they have shown that they care and have excellent customer services, something that is very much lacking in the UK. Well done Diyar and Planet Rentalcars, you have put my faith back into your company!! Thank you Diyar!

Good Value for Money

Very clear terms and conditions at the booking process. We paid slightly more a day to pay a lesser deposit because my son doesn't have a credit card and he didn't have the funds in his bank to pay a £1600 deposit. However, when my son, who is only 21, went to collect the car from Malta International airport, he reported the staff were very aggressive and showed him numerous scratches, dents etc to encourage him to buy more insurance. He stood his ground, but it scared him half to death and he didn't enjoy driving in Malta as he was constantly worried about the car getting pranged. He actually took the car back a day earlier. Luckily, he dealt with an English guy who very professional. He got the whole of his deposit returned to him within 24 hours. We are definitely considering using SIXT when we go to Cyprus in November. However, I am not happy about the aggressiveness of the staff that is being reported at the airports. This isn't just this company either! It's a shame for SIXT because their customer service was excellent and the booking process was very smooth.

A very disappointing experience with Planet Rentalcars

A very disappointing experience with this car rental company. After googling, which car companies didn't take a deposit, we decided to go with Planet Rentalcars. I know you shouldn't trust Google, but there was nothing during the booking period to suggest any deposit would be taken. I used my debit card, as I don't have a credit card, and once I'd paid it told me a deposit of £1600 would be taken on collecting the car. I don't have these funds. I immediately rang the Planet Rentalcars and told them that the payment of the deposit on their website wasn't transparent. Other rental companies clearly display their deposit fees. I checked their terms and conditions and it is buried in very small print half way down. This is unacceptable! Planet Rentalcars, at first, were not happy for me to cancel, as I was 2 hours outside the 24 cancellation period. When I told them that their deposit payment wasn't transparent, they disputed this, but refunded some of my money, keeping £15 for an administration charge. We later booked with SIXT, who I will definitely use again. We only paid a £400 deposit and it was clearly shown that this would be the case before we paid anything. The deposit was refunded within 24 hours, no questions asked! Sorry Planet Rentalcars, but I won't be using you again and your customer service is appalling!
