Shocking delivery times.

Shocking delivery times.
Placed an order on the 16th December.
When you get order confirmation it says 2-3 days.
Tried to chase the order up and was told that the delivery time is on the page when you add the wallpaper to your basket which was 12-15 days.
A little misleading but fair enough. We waited way past the 15 days and had to cancel the decorator we booked in for while we went on holiday as the wallpaper still hadn’t arrived.

Wallpaper finally arrived on the 21st January while we were away, after having to e mail them three times chasing it up.

So over 5 weeks in total meaning we not only didn’t come home from our holiday to our room wallpapered but we’ve also got to wait another 3 weeks for the decorator to for us in.

Terrible jeans fake adverts

Terrible jeans.
Nothing like advertised on Facebook.
Took 3 weeks to arrive from china.
Button was stitched but not cut so couldn’t use the button.
Cheap and tacky badly struck on diamantés

These are terrible lashes

These are terrible lashes.
Firstly it’s extremely difficult to only get the bond not only to your root but only halfway up lashes resulting in just sticking all your own eyelashes together.
Managed to get them on relatively easily then applied the seal and attempted to clamp and the lashes just kept sticking to the clamping tool and coming off.

Waste of money :(

Impossible to remove glue residue!

Firstly I want to say that once on these lashes do look good (5 day wear pre glued clusters)
They are also not too difficult to apply. Hence giving 2 stars and not one.

I found them great during cooler weather however during hot weather the glue almost melts and the lashes slide down your own and when you try to remove them they leave a sticky glue residue which sticks your own lashes together and is IMPOSSIBLE to get rid of.
I pulled out half of my own lashes, tried make up remover and all kinds of soap and even a scouring pad.

The only thing that works is washing up liquid which caused my eyes to sting for an hour after removal.

I’ve tried asking on their Facebook post what’s best to remove as they do NOT just pull off like in the tutorial, not during hot weather anyway.

As per usual with Facebook adverts, anything negative is filtered out so I’ve had no reply.

DONT believe all of the gleaming comments on Facebook posts, with ANY advert, not just this one.

Unfortunately I will not be buying these again which is a shame. If they came with a remover then I would consider, once my own lashes grow back!

Do not subscribe unless you want constant junk e mails

Ordered samples from this company and since doing so I’m getting constant e mails from the company
I’ve blocked them, flagged their e mails as spam and the junk e mails STILL go through to my spam folder.
The unsubscribe button doesn’t work and no reply to many e mails I’ve sent asking to be taken off of their mailing list.

Was considering buying from this company but sick of having to delete their e mails on almost daily basis.

Not the cheapest as with any website but if you want peace of mind when buying and selling gold then worth paying the extra for rather than buying/selling privately.
I have bought twice and sold back to Atkinsons once up to now.

2 MONTHS MINIMUM DELIVERY TIME!!

2 MONTHS MINIMUM DELIVERY TIME!!
I placed an order for a keyring on the 5th November for a friends birthday on the 19th, this giving two whole weeks for delivery.
Item never arrived.
Contacted the company on the 22nd November to ask where it was only to be told that it was not in stock and I would be looking at 7-8 business days for dispatch.

Although unacceptable by this point I figured I could just give it to my friend for Xmas instead.

I e-mailed the company again on the 5th December, a whole month after ordering only to get a reply stating that they have checked on the status of the order and it seems like while the order is being processed, they have come to know that the manufacturing process for this item is currently on hold and will only resume end of December, therefore the ETA for this part to be dispatch will be in JANUARY 2025!!!

Also that ‘special order’ items cannot be cancelled nor returned once the order is processed.

So basically at the very earliest, providing I don’t get given yet another poor excuse I am to expect my item no sooner than TWO MONTHS after placing the order, missing both my friends birthday for whom it was intended AND Xmas…

It’s leading me to think that it may be some cheap rubbish of poor quality shipped in from abroad, although it would have arrived sooner being shipped from Mars….

UPDATE - 2 months today and still no sign of my order…

Generally good

Generally good, quite a few things I’ve ordered haven’t survived or flowered but I can’t say whether it’s the plants or the weather where we live (west wales).
Recently ordered a tree for a birthday present which took two weeks to arrive, a week late for the person whose birthday it was for.
Cheaper than garden centres but everything costs more here than it does inland and in England.
Will use again but only if I need something specific as I did with my friends b day present.

I ordered a set of white wall tyres for my newly purchased classic car in order to attend car shows this summer.

Tyres took almost three weeks to arrive by which time I had missed the first show.
Upon opening the packages only to find that they weren’t white wall.

After contacting the company with photos they actually e mailed to say that the photo on their website was the wrong one and they would change it and I could return them if I wanted a refund.
No apology, or offer to sort out or pay for the return of the tyres (a week later they still have the same photo up, still mis-selling the tyres).

I replied straight away to their e mail to say they could either sort out a return label or I would keep the tyres and buy some white wall inserts (at almost £100) if they sent me a good will gesture of £35 towards the inserts. (If I had just wanted the plain black tyres I could have bought them for a lot less from another company so I was still be losing out but just wanted my car sorted for the car shows).

Over week later and numerous e mails I have still not heard anything back.
I have given up and now having to contact my credit card company to try to resolve the issue.

After missing two of the only car shows i could get to this summer it’s looking like I’m also going to miss the final one I had planned for this weekend due to this incompetent company.

I went for the luxury car mats for my Midget

I went for the luxury car mats for my MG Midget (over £100 for two mats!).
When they arrived the piping around the edge was badly finished with a nick in the leather.
After contacting them the customer service was great and they offered to send a free replacement.
The finish on the free replacements was still a bit jagged but better than the first ones.

They also said they don’t sell the clips to hold the mats in place (mats came with holes in for clips) and to contact MG specialists which I found a little odd as would have expected them to come with the mats (they aren’t specific to the car).

Not sure if I’m just being fussy but at over £100 for two car mats I would have expected them to be of a very high standard (especially the replacements) and come with clips.

Other than that the actual mats are good quality. Not entirely sure they were worth the amount paid but hopefully they will last me a while either way!

Customer service is shocking

Customer service is shocking.
We wanted 5 samples as we planned to buy click vinyl laminate for every room in our newly built house (7 rooms).

Tried to order three of five samples we wanted as there’s a limit of three.

Kept being sent to error pages when trying to order samples so contacted customer service who did say we could order the five, I gave them the five samples and address as they asked for, they didn’t confirm that they would be sent and I waited on chat for about 20 mins before giving up and hoping the samples would arrive. Two weeks later still no samples.

Messaged again last night to say we were struggling to order 3 let alone 5 because of the error pages and just received a reply saying ‘you can only order 3’. No help regarding the error pages or alternative ways to order.

Went on to chat again, explained we wanted five samples and was told we could only order three but that someone else in the household could order the others? And that the limit is three as other companies charge whereas they don’t.

For one, if someone else in the household can order more then what’s the actual difference, it would probably work out costing less in postage if nothing else?
And two, most companies do give samples for free as they want peoples custom….

Clearly this company do not!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Knew the quality was poor without even opening.
Bought two hair halos.
Very thin.
Didn’t even take them out of the packaging as I intended to return them.
Upon trying to return learned that they not only don’t refund postage which you could let slide, they only refund via gift card.
Why would I want anything else from a company that falsely advertises and sends poor quality goods?

I asked several times in the comments on the Facebook posts if a refund would be given if the quality didn’t meet expectations and I was ignored which rang alarm bells.

It also took 2 weeks to arrive.

Cheap Chinese and rubbish.

I REALLY hope my review stops anyone else getting scammed as I’m now out of pocket by almost £60

Terrible avoid using the site, whether booking or hosting. Atrocious

Terrible. Double booked us after we travelled 4 hours to stay somewhere for my birthday and our anniversary and we had to book somewhere else literally last minute. Messed up our own b&b bookings t the extent we no longer use the site, nightmare to navigate their website
we’ve even tried less than 10 minutes ago to book a place we are at in turkey and it’s showing as unavailable… the boss said it’s available the entire month we want to book.
AVOID using them at all costs.

Terrible customer service

Terrible service!
Ordered a fridge freezer on Saturday 22nd January.
Two days later ‘very’ cancelled the order (still left the payment for the warranty on though?)

When we called to find out why they said because they ran out of stock and if we wanted to re order it would be an extra £50 because the lower price was an offer which ended after the weekend.

Not only would they not honour the original price we should have paid but they wouldn’t let me re purchase with a my first order discount as they classed the order I initially made as my first order! Even though they cancelled it!

Ordered from AO in the end, payment was upfront but the fridge was £175 less than ‘very’ due to having no box!

we will NEVER use very again….
