Quality down, prices up

I have been buying furniture for my cats and I can state that while the prices have been going up the quality has been going down. Now, not even the logo is printed, for instance, on the verre scratcher. The planks used to last for a long time and produce little waste, now there is carton board crumbs everywhere. The choice of colours has been also reduced. This is the last time I buy furniture from them.

Unacceptable

The delivery person does not bother to ring the bell, just leaves the parcels - drops them as they are too heavy and breaks them. I suppose they also falsify my signature. Unacceptable

3 owls, kingfisher chicks, and so much more

In the past we have had the pleasure to go birdwatching with Bird & Nature-Bernardo Barreto, in Tejo Estuary and in Alentejo. In 2023 our guide was Amélia Almeida who offered us a full day in Alentejo (Castro Verde and the Guadiana Valley) - full of creatures, including an amazing surprise in Castro Verde, as well as a group of deers under trees, hiding from the unrelenting sun. We plan and hope to have another birdwatching day tour in 2024. Thank you!

Splendid stay at Spalentor

Where to start? The hotel is splendid: the room was spacious, everything was very clean, no chipped furniture or scratched walls, AC working, no noise coming out of the minibar, spacious and well-designed toilet, including good quality towels, excellent shower and toiletries; very good breakfast; competent and friendly staff (reception and breakfast); central location, a few steps away from the marvellous botanical garden and lovely streets full of interesting and unusual shops. Basel is a fantastic, lively, clean and very interesting city. We will be back. Thank you - and do not change anything!

bubbly delivery

The website had some issues/bugs and I contacted the company to report it. B-M replied swiftly and even offered a bottle for my troubles. The delivery was promptly arranged - and we drank B-M's health and business. Thank you and cheers!

I just got 2 boxes full of goodies very well-packed and swiftly delivered. I do recommend this company but have suggested some improvements to their website and performance: the out of stock information only shows up if you have logged in and most annoyingly, every time I make an order I am later informed that some wine is out of stock and either I have to wait until they get more bottles or I have to choose another wine. This explains the 4 and not 5 stars.

For airbnb basic needs which are not met are minor issues

After complaining about a house in Las Palmas - City & Ocean views - which proved to be anything but a place for holidays, rather a very expensive and stressful training on how to camp, airbnb replied that they do not cover "minor nuisances"... We found the place dirty (cleaning fee over 150 Euros), it featured an alarm box that made so much noise - it could be used as a torture tool - we could not sleep or just think; the dire state of the bathrooms; the lack of water pressure (if one is having a shower the other cannot even use the flush!) and so much more is considered a minor nuisance. Ridiculous how this house is available for renting and that airbnb does not defend the guests (the weaker part). Airbnb never again, and Las Palmas will be totally forgotten. I hope the host at least uses the money I paid for nothing to... book his own place and see how bad it is. Good riddance!

Great job

Great job as regards ordering, handling the order, informing the customer*, and delivery.
* Although the expected time was the end of the day, it was around midday when the bell rang and a helpful and professional person brought me 24 bottles all the way from Porto to Luxembourg. Only negative comment: Portugal Vineyards does not distribute Quinta dos Abibes Bruto, but at least I can buy the marvellous Odisseia (white) and Kompassus (Bruto).

Pity about client assistance

I purchased a pair of binoculars and got them prety fast. Pity that the customer support was not helpful: unexpectedly I had to go to the office and I requested that the delivery service postpone the delivery for a week when I would be teleworking. I was told that by law they cannot contact the delivery company... The link provided in the message I received after the purchase to track the parcel was "fake news". The day I got the parcel the information displayed was still that "Delivery moment still unknown"... What a disappointment. Also, the parcel must have been dropped quite forcefully for it pierced the binocular box, fortunately, not damaging the product. I will think twice before ordering again from CameraNU.

I'm so sorry to hear that our service has not been up to your expectations.
I have checked this case, but I see that you told us to hold on to the package áfter we had shipped it. At this moment the package is out of our hands, and we are not able to change anything about the delivery anymore.
If you had told us before the shipping it would have been no problem for us to keep it a bit longer.
You received a link from PostNL, but they handed it over to DPD, the tracking code was also visible here, but I can understand this looks a bit confusing.
I'm happy to hear that you were able to accept the parcel, and hope you enjoy your order.

Marcolini does not care about customers

If the chocolates are wonderful, the packaging of most products is anything but ecological. And as importantly, customer care is just a function in their company. I had been a regular customer of their online shop and always had problems: not getting the right product or not getting anything but the bill, and the delivery service. Note that I always had to ask for a refund as Marcolini does not keep track of what is or is not sent. No quality control. The last time (literally) I had ordered online the delivery person never showed up, did not contact me (even if they have my phone) and did not leave a notice saying at what time they had been at my place, nor when they would come back. A total disaster. I was offered a voucher (not the full amount of my order, mind you!) to make a new order. This was refused - for obvious reasons. Bon débarras!
