I was trying to find a part for a…

I was trying to find a part for a kitchenaid stand mixer and they supplied it. The shipping took about a week from the netherlands to Ireland. It arrived this morning and is now in the mixer and working perfectly. This company were quick to answer questions regarding the current used in the item which was rather important and needed to be answered before my order was placed. By ordering from the netherlands, within the EU, I also saved €50 on the one I had previously tried to order on ebay. A VERY good company and it was a pleasure to deal with them.

Very SURLY attitude, pig ignorant in fact.

Very SURLY attitude. Not helpful in the least. I called to enquire about a quite expensive item and I wanted to make sure I was ordering the correct one. When I asked him about it he wouldn't even confirm the manufacturer number for me, saying he wasn't on a computer and didn't spend his life on a computer which begs the question what is he doing taking orders online if he doesn't use a computer? when he called me he said he was in his warehouse packing orders at the time. What he should have said, politely and calmly is " I will check on that in a couple of minutes and get back to you presently, can you send me an email so that I can get back to you about that?" That was all he needed to say but no, he chose to be rude and snap at me for having the audacity to ask a question instead. I will go to his competitor now as he's lost a sale and my recommendation to other people in the same situation. As for this review, I only gave him one star because I had to. This muppet doesn't deserve a star. Way to run you business into the ground and drive customers away. Learn from American customer service, it's one of the things they actually do well, and greet your customers with a good attitude and if your having a bad day, leave it outside. attitude matters and comes across on the phone. When he saw the review he called me and instead of explaining and apologising as any normal company would do, a bit of damage limitation, I had a call from him ranting down the phone at me, I had purchased the item on his ebay store at extra expense, he cancelled the purchase and returned the money to my paypal account. I had purchased it by mistake as I didn't mean to buy from him but it shows how he tried to bully me into removing my review. probably would have been best to do that BEFORE cancelling that sale. I'm not in a hurry for it and I still have my money so who's lost out there? You really need some training on how to speak to people, especially customers!!!

Well, where to start, I've finally left them and it feels so good

Well, this is it. I've finally left Heart Internet because they are incompetent, ineffective and just Won't (not can't, Won't) answer their ticketing system. I started getting emails saying that my payments were not going through. I messaged heart as this is not the first time this has happened. Their response, when they daned to respond was, "it must be a problem with your bank" not "we've got a little bit of a problem". Thats right. I messaged them on friday and they replied on Monday Evening!!! With "it's your fault" The last time this happened was last year it went on for about 6 months and then when they had fixed it they tried to bill me for six months all at once with no warning, no bill, just tried to take the money out of my bank account. So this time was the final straw. heart is useless. It was a good company when I started using them about 15 years ago but it's gone downhill slowly at first but now they're on ski's. whichever company was stupid enough to buy them out is stuck with this Tu*d on a stick now. Good luck. There really should be someway of posting on here without having to give one star as that's something they really don't deserve.

UPDATE, It was due to you atomatically assuming that it was my bank that was at fault. I was able to make payment for four years hosting up front yesterday and paid my sky bill this morning so nothing is wrong with my card or my bank account. but typical of you to assume that it was my fault. I appreciate that your trying to resuscitate heart but lets face it, the patient is already dead. They're so far behind in basic technology and what they offer was fine for 2009 but it's now so backward that they're already dead and buried. If I've left you must had pretty much no customers left apart from the ones that you've tricked into coming on board.

Update I appreciate that your trying to resuscitate the company but it's too little too late. I've already left.

I’m sorry to hear about your frustration with the team’s responses. It looks like the initial issue was due to your payment provider declining the request, which had a ripple effect on the following attempts. I’ve responded personally to your ticket with more detailed information though.

Found my parcel in the middle of my driveway, do you consider that to be "delivered"??

Found my parcel in the middle of my driveway, do you consider that to be "delivered"??? This seems to be a perennial problem with couriers in this country. I just received my fastway parcel where it was very obviously chucked over my gate and slid up my driveway. Do your drivers not know how to open a gate and walk in or does doing both tax them for the afternoon? I'm sick of finding my parcels when I go out of the house in the middle of my driveway. It's fine in nice weather like today but not if it's been pouring rain or worse. I do actually have a letter box on my house which the post office use but it IS open to all deliveries. luckily, this time it wasn't anything that could be damaged by landing with a bang on the concrete but it could just as easily have been an antique Bakelite part for my telephones or something electronic for my computer. if it were the former I would be annoyed more because they are very very hard to find in good condition which is the only way I buy them. In short, this is a terrible way to treat people property and I will be making a formal complaint about this service presently.
UPDATE 21/05/2024: I sent a response to them including photos of the parcel and the parcel on the path where it was thrown. I haven't heard anything back I assume they don't want to discuss it anymore
UPDEATE 04/06/2024: Just responded to the response left below today, the 4th of JUNE. Asking me to send everything to a different address than the one they initially provided. That was all they could offer after a two week wait? An e-mail address...So I forwarded everything including a full close up photograph of the packaging. they should be able to get the tracking number off of that! lets see what excuse to do nothing they come up with this time shall we.

I wanted my fibre optic line repaired Not my account cancelled!!!

Ok, Were to start. I could do the usual things by cursing out Vodafone and saying that I an only get hold of muppets in an Indian call centre. But I wont. I'll explain what happened and then you can decide for yourself. Last week, just before Christmas 2023 we had a really bad storm and one of my trees came down across my electricity lines and my fibre optic line bringing them both down. The electricity one was repaired that day. I called Vodafone, and informed them that the line was damaged, told them that the router had two green lights and a red one instead of the three being green. He said that he understood what I was saying an that a repair crew would be out in three working days for fix it. A week went by in which I had no landline either because my phone is an internet one. Anyway I phoned up yesterday and was told that NBI had tested my line and that it had come back as switched off. So I told the guy on the phone that my fibre optic cable was on the ground and that my internet was not switched off as I was using the wireless dongle they sent me for emergencies like this. He again said that someone would deal with it. I said ok but i wasn't convinced after years of dealing with Vodafone I know that they have about the worst customer service of any company on the planet. So I phoned the NBI this morning. The lovely girl I dealt with said that they hadn't received any notification from Vodafone but she would escalate my message that I sent her on X or twitter as it was, and someone would be contacting me. So the latest is that I sent a message to Vodafone on X hoping against hope that it would reach an intelligent human being and not some AI bot, but alas, I was to be disapointed. After expalining the whole thing and that I needed a repair crew out. I got a DM from them informing me that my ACCOUNT WOULD BE CANCELLED and that JOY, he had interceded with his superiors so that I would only have to pay €7 for my months subscription. What the fudge??? Vodafone are a dream as long as everything is going right. But, if there is any sort of hiccup at all it all falls apart. So I won't say got to someone else, RUN to Anyone else. Use a yogurt carton and some string it would be more reliable!!!

disgraceful customer service I was on hold for 45 minutes waiting to speak to someone.

I had a phone call from panda a few months ago, they wanted to know if I wanted to shift to a different tariff as my bins hadn't been collected since May. The lady I spoke to was very nice and said since I hadn't had my bins collected they would wipe all the charges on my account and I would just have to pay per collection and a small monthly fee. I said I would need to think about it and she said to call back anytime. I phoned up last week and spoke to "tom" at the call centre and it was a totally different tune. He said I'd have to pay all the back charges etc which amount to a sizable sum. I said that since I haven't had my bins collected since May surely not.
He said it didn't matter and I'd have to pay the back charges as well which amount to almost €300 for nothing!! So I just called to try to cancel and guess what, Tom has told me that they need to call me as they don't have a cancelation method. They are like the mafia. Once you sign up you can't get out again. This is an absolute disgrace. Their customer service is inconsistent and shoddy. When you can get hold of their customer service. They must only have one or two operatives since I got the same person I spoke to last week. This is what happens when a company is taken over by a much bigger company.

UPDATE, They finally called me back, everything got sorted out and I am now on a pay as you go tariff which I think makes much more sense for me as I don't make much waste If I can fit 7 months waste into one bin collection. but they REALLY need to up their game with customer service because how many people have an hour to give to make a phone call these days?

Bought an item that was €129 rather than the €173 the exact same item was on Amazon.co.uk. Ordered it at 4pm and had it delivered by 1pm the next day. Very very impressed!

Heart internet has suspended my Three…

Heart internet has suspended my Three websites with no notice, There is no customer service to speak of, a chat system that isn't there, every time I go to the ticket system I get kicked out to the login page. They took my last payment of the 20th of July. They even sent me an invoice for the renewal of my Domain. A domain they have suspended?? W.T.F IS GOING ON WITH THEM?? They've been like this for the last 6 or 7 years now. Before that they were actually a really good company but now they couldn't organise a p**s up in a brewery. If they can't fix this and have deleted my websites I will be leaving them. I may anyway. UPDATE. After many hours of banging my head off the desk waiting for them to answer the ticketing sytem I think I got a bot. it doesn't seem to accept that they didn't send me emails either saying that my payment was collected by them or declined by my bank from february to june when they resumed sending emails. Their attitude is just pay up and hope we'll be able to reactivate your website. at this stage I'm done with they. I've clung on for years longer than I should have. The irony is they have all their awards on their website but the last time they got one was in 2016 thats seven years ago! They have no interest in providing customer service. We are just cash cows to the parent company! Get my websites up and running again and then I'll pay the fees. Other companies would understand that it was their mistake and swallow the costs. This shows that they have no interest in their customers as long as you keep paying. I only want my websites back so that I can migrate them to a different hosting company.

I'm on the phone to the right now. we'll see if I get through or if Being partonised by their telecom system gets to me first. Firstly, Don't speak to me like I'm a child. I have an online account. I don't need to hear that I should get one over and over again. Secondly, I can understand my bill perfectly well, I'm aware I'm being screwed every way to sunday. I understand that perfectly well, I don't need to be insulted every 3 minutes by your computer! What I'm enquiring about is my bill, why is it showing as fully paid and then next week it, when the next bill comes in, it won't be. Nope, the girl has a very thick Indian accent and I had to get her to slow her speech down so that I could understand her. She says that there's nothing that she can do. The account is in arrears from may and every time I make a payment it comes off the next bill rather than paying what I already owe from may. I've been told to go to the local post office and make a payment that way which is and ancient way of doing things. I haven't paid any bills in the post office in 20 years! I thought we were beyond that. Rather than saying that it's all they can do give their IT department a good kick up the backside and get them to do their jobs properly so that the accounts can reflect the truth because I am €113 in credit at the moment but I wont't be once the bill comes out. This is supposed to be the 21st century isn't it??? Not the 1970's

I just wanted to add my debit card. Why do I need to jump through so many hoops?

What went wrong? The same thing that's been going wrong for years. Their billing system is ancient or at least looks and functions that way. They probably love it. But if your a customer trying to pay your bill it's really awkward and clumsy.

Today I wanted to add my debit card. But No! I can't. In order to add my card I have to make a purchase! And it's not a one step thing, it's a complicated five stage slog. I went to the page where it says Ad credit/debit card. Fine but there's no link there. The page says you can add your cards on it but no, you can't. That would really be too easy.

If any other commercial site in the world can have an easy interface, why is it so complicate that they won't provide one? Why? Because every other company know that if they presented their customers with such a complicated interface, the'd probably walk away. They'd be gone. It's probably logical if your a computer programmer or website builder but it's horrible if your just an ordinary Joe blogs trying to build a website or two....

I won't ever add a direct debit because I Simpy don't trust them. But I will add my debit card. But they don't seem to want to accept it.

Please take my advice and go somewhere else for your hosting! Avoid them at all costs. I'd have given them minus five stars but this site insists on at least one star to be given in order to leave a review. They don't even deserve one star. There's a reason the hosting is cheap. It's just run by bots these days. The person who ran the place checked out years ago. Wouldn't be surprised to find out that an AI runs the place.

It seems like I'm not the only person with a problem with their credit/debit card interface. They updated it recently but a child could have done a better job. Well I'm moving as soon as I can.

I've been with them for 13 years and it's become a constant battle now.

And they fail to cancel products. You go in, you set them not to update, and they get changed to renew and you get billed. I had an incident recently where the ssl cert had been set not to renew because I'd closed the business the website was for. so I didn't need it. And they renewed it anyway.
Amazingly they refunded me but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

And they reply with something like the following stock message reply from Heart Internet.

Lack of care of goods and carelessness with parcels.

What went wrong this time? Where to start. Maybe it's the package that's been going around in their van since yesterday? Or maybe it was the box the dumped out of their van and dropped over my gate on friday when it was raining all day so that the box dissolved. Thank goodness there was nothing that rainwater would destroy inside, just plumbing equipment but it could have just as easily been a food processor or something with a freezer element. You know that if you drop them, you break them right? I don't know what reason they have for not bringing them to my door like an post do? But the general consensus from their delivery driver is. toss it over the gate and it's delivered. The standard of delivery in the dump of a country is third world. It's like a delivery service in some banana republic. Disgraceful

just DUMPED my parcel at my gate for anyone to steal.

This company just dumped an item at my gate for the world and his wife to steal...  They made no attempt to let me know they were there. Not even blowing a horn.  I just happened to be looking out my window when they drove up.  I had trouble getting out because I have a broken ankle and couldn't rush. From the sound of it, they just held the box over the gate and dropped it the four feet onto the gravel.  So I had to try to hobble out and try to get the box, which was heavy.  So managed to roll it in to where it'll be safe.   No complaints department or phone number to call.   I wonder why?  Guess you can't get complaints if your customers can't contact you.  This seems to be a theme of couriers in this tin pot country!  "it's inside the gate so I delivered it"  If I could. I wouldn't give them one star at all!  I only gave them one star because I need to do it for to leave this review.
