No "confirmation email" Or delivery note!
Dear Giga Tyres,
I am writing to formally raise an issue regarding the delivery of my recent order. The item was delivered to ***, who are not my neighbours and are located on a completely different street. I have no connection to them, and at no point did I request or authorise delivery to this address.
As I understand, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the seller—not the courier—is legally responsible for ensuring that I receive the item I paid for, delivered to me or to an agreed location. This did not happen.
I am not prepared to collect the item from a business or individual I do not know and who is not my neighbour. I am extremely disappointed with the level of service—particularly given that this order came from a tyre distributor, a trade I deeply respect for its vital role in road safety and transport infrastructure.
I am therefore requesting one of the following:
1. Immediate redelivery to my actual address, at no extra cost.
2. Or, if that is not possible, a full refund.
I hope this can be resolved promptly.
