I am a newcomer to 30daysinger, and I have never had a singing lesson prior to stumbling upon this site. I was so impressed with Camille and how pleasant, focused, and experienced she is, that I signed up for a year after taking the introductory lesson. I am 73 years old and learning to play the ukulele. Since it seems that no one (at least no casual player) plays the ukulele without singing along with it, I decided I needed to take singing lessons. I actually noted a significant improvement in the quality of my voice while singing along with my ukulele after jut the first 3 lessons from Camille. I can't say enough good things about her! It feels like she is looking right at me and actually listening. The lessons are quite short, but I can revisit previous lessons any time I want in order to redo the vocal exercises she has introduced.

I’ve been singing and taking lessons in person with teachers for over 20 years. Camille’s instruction is way better than most teachers I’ve had. She’s clear and models excellent form, and I’m really feeling a benefit from the lessons just after a few weeks! Highly recommended.

The site and lessons are too difficult to navigate. Really needs improvement for easier navigation and a more seamless transition to lessons. I won’t be renewing

I am a tone deaf droner. Or so I have thought all my life. However, I have always wanted to sing. Not for fame or exhibition- only for my pleasure.
When I found 30 Day Singer, I was intrigued but sceptical that I could ever be taught to sing. It took me months to take the plunge.
I am thrilled that I did! It’s early days yet but I am filled with joy every lesson with Jonathan Estabrooks. He’s brilliant and inspiring. I actually think I am making some sort of progress. Let’s see!

I like this program…for the price of ONE live voice lesson you get access to a lot. I’m an experienced singer with a lot of past vocal training & this compares to lessons I’ve had…I could see how a novice might need a live teacher, which is offered here, too. I was wondering if this is a sister sight to Guitar Tricks , which I love, bc the graphics look similar.

It's been just a week, and I'm already discovering so many things I never thought about like my vocal range, pitch matching, and especially accessing my head voice.

I have a naturally low, bassy voice, and I always wondered how singers managed to sing falsetto. Turns out, all it took was one lesson from Abram, and now I can access my head voice and actually do the exercises with it. I’ve even started trying to sing using it. Of course, it doesn't sound great right now, but considering I never even knew how to attempt it before, the fact that I can do it now is huge. I know it’s only going to improve as I keep practicing regularly.

Overall, I’m absolutely loving it and really looking forward to my journey with 30 Day Singer.

First, this course isn't a scam, it's real. I tried the free 14-day trial, which I recommend, but cancelled after the first week. This course just wasn't for me. I am an absolute beginner and the lack of real time feedback and the assumption that I could already pitch match was frustrating. Also, I have a strong background in music theory and if I had not had that I would have been lost. For example there are drills that expect pitch matching in a 13531 pattern. Fortunately, I knew what that was, but there was no indication of starting note or real time feedback of how I was doing. They expected me to move up a semitone in this drill and I could have been moving up an semitone or an octave, I didn't know. My recommendation is try the 14 course and see how it goes, it may work for you but it didn't for me.

I’ve only been a member for a couple of weeks so can’t give them 5 stars but so far I feel like it’s helping I haven’t moved pass the warm ups and drills taking my time and I think I’m already hearing a difference in my tone !!! I’ll update this as I progress!!

I took this course 2 years ago. Did it too fast. This time I took my time. The real juice comes from Slow consistent repitation everyday. Repeat the basics till it feels powerful.Don'force. The teachers should teach simply. They do a great job. Repeat full examples with the student. It feels better when both practice together. I'm very satisfied with my progress. Thank you.

30 Day Singer tutors are absolutely Ace. I have stayed with 30DS because I trust their knowledge of voice and health and safety. These matter to me especially as I age (59). Your best singing shines through when you can both relax and observe proper technique - know the rules - while being as free as you can. Its not easy at first but keep at it singers - it will come! 30DS has taught me this. Caring for your voice properly really works for better singing! I love 30DS.

Firstly I would like to say the lessons are informative, learnt a few things I didn't know but I am a beginner, after completing the beginners course I was quite disappointed with the course content.
I struggle to hit the top notes in base so having everything in baritone made it really hard for me to follow not owning a keyboard or piano to adjust, also I hear something completely different when I sing to everyone else so I don't know if I matching the note.
I think having a toole that you sing into to match the notes to give realtime feedback would really improve the experience

I never write reviews but I couldn't stop myself from wanting to say "this course is AMAZING"! Camille - the teacher - is an angel with an ability to motivate and teach from a video better than most every teacher I've ever had, and I've had a lot (and I am also a teacher myself). For just over a hundred dollars for the year the value is unbelievable, I feel giddy with joy at each lesson. Can't recommend enough.

I think that 30daysinger is a wonderful program. It is the best that I have found thus far. At first I was sceptical about the name and what I interpreted to be, but it was deceptive. Perhaps a name to be reflective of more than 30daysinger. It is very thorough, clear and simple to follow. My 7 and 10 year old are hooked on it and I find it very enjoyable. It takes the experience above it all by the way they have included the piano. We are able to play along as well. Perhaps they can consider adding Piano courses to the repertoire. This IS a fantastic program. I love how they cater for both male and female. So my son can learn with a male voice, whilst my daughter and I can follow with the female voice. This program is truly worth of 5 stars as every aspect of quality has been covered. As you improve, maintain the line up of instructors you have. The options allow for easy decision making and maintains your uniqueness. Owing to clarity, one can focus without distractions that many other programs tend to have, as well as, too many options can cause confusion. Adding piano courses and other instruments will complement and make you one of the kind with the structure that you have put forward. Thank you for a well curated program.
