Накратко: А1 допуска клиентите им да бъдат ограбвани чрез смс-и с добавена стойност чрез така наречената услуга direct carrier billing. Ако поискате същата да бъде спряна ще ви откажат. Проблема е добре известен и при други оператори може да се изключва/включва от потребителя, но не и при А1.

I feel scammed. I've changed my Internet provider to A1 based on promises that their internet is faster and better. My experience showed the opposite. The internet connection is always interrupted and they say there is no problem. I am left without internet every 5 minutes and you say there is no problem.. Absolute worst. Don't bother changing your provider to A1. It's a nightmare if you need a stable connection for work.

stop scamming customers this company is one big lie and scam.i have changed my internet to surf unlimited and still after 2 weeks they tell me you run out off gb's.cancelled my old contract and after 4 months they haven't changed it in there system.so i am still stuck with crap internet.that is only good for 2 weeks in a month.thid company is just one big corrupt piece off crap.disrespectfull against expats.and to lazy to do there work.even the store is complaining that they are lazy and not doing there job proper in sofia.every you contact them by email no normal answer back.there englisch chat is never availible on my a1 and if you tell them the thruth they will block you're email.

Since A1 Bulgaria a subsidiary of A1 Austria, took over MTEL 2018, they drastically changed business practices. Some of them constitutes violation of the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act and and are at the verge of criminal activities, as they aim to mislead the customers of A1 Bulgaria and collect illegal payment for the services that were not ordered/provided. To make a long story short if A1 is interested to have satisfied customers they may take the following steps:
1. A1 Bulgaria to abandon the current unethical practices towards its customers and take the necessary measures to change their system, i.e. to have a proper notification in the A1 client portal and the A1 Application for additional services with the possibility of cancellation on the spot or through the Application;
2. Re-introduce a proper complaint mechanism that allows for remote interaction without the need to visit A1 store;
3. Provide a free phone line with live agent support for all A1 customers, including the 0700 option;
4. Stop charging A1 prepaid customers for services they did not request.

They straightup lied

So i called them to change my adress on a friday and they said it takes 2 work days for the service people to come and activate it. We even changed our plan and ofcourse the next day they started charging us the new price WITHOUT signing the new contract. So we though they will come on monday or tuesday it's friday now and i have been calling them the whole week to which they always responded that it is being worked on. Worked on what exactly? So they can start charging me the new price while I STILL DON'T HAVE INTERNET. I would suggest anyone who can use some other service provider, do it if you have the option.

Абсолютни изнудвачи! Подписах договор за ТВ, 100 канала, които да гледам на смарт тв чрез A1 Xplore tv апликация. Въпреки, че телевизорът ми е модел, който фигурира в списъка им за тв, които поддържат апликацията, и е с необходимата операционна система, се оказа, че не мога да я инсталирам на това устройство. Отидох в офис на А1, където ми казаха, че могат единствено да ми предложат пакет с техен телевизор, който да изпалащам, но който поддържа апликацията или да ъпгрейда на план със 170 канала и да ми бъде инсталиран приемник. След като се оказа, че нямам друг избор, се спрях на втория вариант. Днес между 9.30 и 13.30 трябваше да дойде екип, който да монтира приемника, но това така и не се случи. Пълно безхаберие!

1 star is only because there's no option to reward them with "Minus 5 Stars Award". The personnel is absolutely incompetent, arrogant and didn't aware even about the basic terms and conditions of the service provided by the Company they're working for. They're only interesting in selling the contract, however, after that you definitely will find a lot of hidden and unpleasant surprises which are not stated there. If you're nevertheless still going to buy their services, be careful with promotional packages and remember that you'll get a lot of restrictions such as no 5G access, etc. which, once again, aren't included into the written contract. IMHO I would recommend you to forget A1 like a bad dream and find another operator with more clear and fair conditions in order to protect yourself against further headaches and the personnel's hostility when you're gonna find the truth.

DO NOT EVER SIGN ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY. The employees cheat to convince you to sign a contract with them - lie that they can provide service that in fact will not work at the respective location and they lied to have contacted my current internet supplier and confirmed my contract with them has expired. I found out 1 hr after signing about the fraud and they refused to cancel the contract and told me I have to wait for days for this to be done if at all. Now I am supposed to pay two fees at two different suppliers. This is pure abuse of elderly people and from my chats with other friends, i am not the only one. Such a shame for such a large company to allow such illegal practices from their employees. This happened in Sliven, kv Bulgarka., Bulgaria location

They told me i got 1 data card ekstra as a student offer.
but not free at all when the first invoice came.
They also said i could stop the 2 years contract easy for a little fee but lets see if that can be trusted....

I worked 2 years with different company, the company i used to work with offered me a monthly price of approx 115 bgn, and have the telephone in stock.did a market research wanted to see what the best price I can get with leasing plan for Samsung s22, the seller at Ring mall( and the manager of the store was next to him)promised me:
1.a monthly plan around 90 bgn- we spoke few times I told him very clear, I don't want to pay anything upfront, everything In a monthly plan- I repeat it few times -and we agreed and he confirmed it will be a monthly leasing+ phone plan.when I signed on the contract ( I don't read kirilik)I asked everything is written here, what we agreed- he said to me yes.
2. the other company had already the phone S22 in stock,I told him I want the phone ASAP, A1 seller told me within a week +/- they'll have it- more than a month they didn't have it, I came to the store maybe 5 times, each time different story.
* today I came , finally they have the phone, but for my big surprise, despite all what we agreed, they told me I need to pay pre payment of between 650 and up!!!! total lie/scam. the manager ( that was at the time of the sell) called to the seller, he claims he told me I'll need to pre paid- again lie. when I asked let's check the contract that I sign- they told me the contract was only for the call plan, not for the leasing!!!!!!!
so unary, disappointed, ugly way of working method, to take clients from other companies, by lie and fraud.
now I need to work with them for 2 years !!!!!! don't get near to this company

A1 Bulgaria is unbelievable I stuck with it for 2 years until the end of the contract time went to their office told them not to roll over the contracts, gave back equipment, ensured no outstanding amounts, went to another company. 4 months later I get a demand fro. Them they only cancelled 1 part if the contract and are now demanding hundreds from me. The receipt is not in English but led me to believe it was cirre t as it had 3 reference number on it
Total scam, I will go to prison before I give them another penny

Beware of dishonest business practices by A1. A1 offers new mobile phones at extremely attractive prices in combination with a 2 years subscription. After you have signed up and transfered your phone number to A1, A1 will tell you they cannot sell you the phone because you are not credit worthy...

A1 are a badly run company who do not respond to any issues without continual mailing and calling. Signed me into a new contract without me knowing took 130lv for a box which I returned took me over 3 weeks and several emails visits to get money back

The worst mobile provider ever !

Terrible company. Terrible practices and terrible service - A LOT of shady practices. Be ready to expect a lot of trouble from this company if you engage with them! And employees I'd seriously recommend finding a new job. They hire subcontractors that are sometimes dangerous people that enter your house to install internet. They automatically harvest any info they can get on you and sell it.

I am very surprised when I have Internet. There is no possible way to recommend to anyone.

Their internet is expensive compared to others (20mbps - 30leva/ months, other companies have the same price but 300mbps) and their internet is still slow. Their internet often randomly stops too. About mobile data, you only have 30gb/month @ 100mbps and it's expensive too. Then is the worst part. They SAY that the internet will be "slower". When my mobile data ran out I checked speedtest and it sayd 0.31mbps download. THAT ISN'T EVEN USABLE!

As a student from another country coming to Bulgaria there are certain necessities you would require. Basics things like internet and being able to call. The experience with A1.bg is atrocious to say the least. You will be welcomed with scam after scam. You would like a data sim, but agents would tell you they only sell contracts. Topping up is also a major issue, no online way for data sims to be topped up as well. You will need to make your way to a mall to get a new sim or top-up in store. My experience has been so horrific, I went to get a prepaid home internet contract with A1.bg for my 5 month stay during my studies abroad. After showing the agent exactly what I wanted, he proceeded to give me a 2 year contract instead and said the cancellation fee would only amount to 3 months worth of installments. However when it came time to cancel my contract. I was hit with the full balance of the 2 year contract and when asked about the 3 month penalty he shrugs and dismisses it as some made up story. Note this is the same agent that sold me the contract. Then he cancels the contract and says the internet will be active for the time I will be in the country. I pay the obscene amount and leave. Only to be told after paying that I wont have internet immediately and that he could sell me another contract. This is after explicitly explaining that we will need internet to a certain date and him confirming that we will have internet up until the time I leave. If this isn't a scamming business model, then I don't know. So I would just like to warn foreigners coming to Bulgaria that they should avoid A1.bg at all cost. They have great marketing to get you, but will scam you.
