You simply don’t understand your clientele
A mobility scooter is many older people only link to the outside world. Been waiting 5 weeks now for my father’s scooter to be collected , repaired and returned. We’ve had to do all the phone chasing. The only communication from them is they don’t carry the part and have to order it . Meant to be returned today but total silence again. They gave him a temp replacement this week at least , but I’m sure the bill for that is to come. So we’ll wait until Monday for the step. The older generation need to be treated respectfully and kept informed, something this company should maybe try or otherwise avoid them like the plague

Everything explained to me
Everything explained to me. Shown how to work scooter by kirsty and Josh absolutely brilliantly. Explained how to charge the scooter. Nothing was any trouble for them.

Everyone was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Ample time was given to decide which mobility scooter and which chair to buy. In no way was I pushed to make a decision; in fact, when I pointed out that I wanted to be able to lock the battery when I left the scooter outside a shop, Josh found a scooter where I could chain the battery to the seat support.
Today, and last Wednesday, Kirsty was very helpful. I would recommend Ableworld to all my friends.

Such patient, gracious & understanding staff.
I asked Stafford store about day hire of a wheelchair, so that my friend might be prepared to try it out. Jenny totally understood my friend's reluctance to use this, and was extremely patient. So we ordered one. Josh helped my friend from my car into the chair, pushed her up a ramp, then locked my car. On Sun 9.8.26 I returned the chair, both were still so gracious and professional. Thanks. Hopefully we'll do this again.

Mobility Scooter ( Sapphire 2)
My health had deteriorated which affected my mobility inside and outside my home. Buying mobility aids was a new experience for me. Staff were informative , put me at ease and gave me opportunity to try before I brought it. I had opportunity to try different scooters inside the shop and outside. There was no pressure to buy. I had time to think about it and come back another day. I would defiantly recommend to others.

Very helpful & patient staff
Sam at the Stafford store was brilliant on Saturday when my mum came in to try out mobility scooters, she spent two hours with us while we tried out all the different models to make sure my mum got the right one for her needs.

Excellent Support and Advice
My husband and I brought my Mum into your Stafford store on Saturday 24th August. We were so impressed with John, your store manager there.
My mum has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer and needed some adjustments to be made to help her live more comfortably.
She's a very strong willed lady and knew exactly what she wanted going into your store, or thought she did! She didn't come out with what she thought she needed as John was able to explain what she was looking for wasn't appropriate, why this was the case and what would suit her better.
Mum was really impressed, as were we. John was really knowledgeable, patient and had a great sense of humour throughout. We came away with an adjustable bed, adjustable chair, a support frame, cushion and walker with trays that will be absolutely perfect to help her with her current and anticipated future needs.
We were there quite some time, throughout, John was really attentive, listening exactly to my Mum's needs.
You have a fabulous employee in John.

Amazingly friendly chap
Amazingly friendly chap, John manager. Frank, honest, professional, a great help to ensure that I bought the best boot scooter for us.
I can not speak highly enough of the amazing experience of john looking after us.
Very happy with the purchase, scooter is fantastic, like the whole experience.
John is an amazing ambassador for the business, so much so I have sent him two fresh leads today.

Travel chair purchase
I have been looking for a wheelchair to help me when I go to hospital appointments etc. My son popped into Able world Stafford for me on Sunday 7th January.He spoke to Melanie who was very helpful. She reserved a budget travel chair for me .. my husband took me today 8th January.. we tried the chair and I found it very comfortable and my husband found it easy to push and fold up. Melanie was very patient with us and explained everything. As I had previously bought my mobility scooter from Able world last year we knew we would have a good experience regarding a travel chair.
Thanks Melanie for your help. And to John for having a laugh with me . We can totally recommend this shop,staff and products. best wishes Jackie Sproston

Great shopping experience
My recent visit to Ableworld at Stafford is one of the most pleasant shopping experiences I have had in a long time. John, Tracy & their staff were so kind, considerate & helpful.
I needed to purchase a riser/recliner chair & John took considerable time, mixed with a 'pinch' of patience, to ensure I purchased the item that best suited my requirements.
My wife & I will continue to visit the Stafford store whenever I have any further requirements, it certainly was a pleasure.

DONT BOTHER
STAFFORD - The store manager, John, has to be the most abrasive man I’ve ever met. Made us feel like a nuisance for asking questions. Didn’t appear to have a sense of humour. Knew nothing about the product he was selling.
The item we want is in stock in the store but we can’t bring it home as it has to be fitted by ableworld at a cost of £80 or the warranty is invalid . Total lie. The manufacturer will sell direct and it can be fitted by ourselves. Able World expect us to take the scooter into the store…. We don’t own a transit van ! And we have to wait 2 weeks for the privilege.
We’ve taken our business elsewhere where they have been helpful and courteous. Will never use Able World Stafford or recommend it to anyone.
I am beyond angry .
