This is my first experience with using a storage centre and I have to say that access storage on walker road and Wyandotte in Windsor Ontario has made my transition to store all my belongings stress-free worry free. Ann in the office help me with everything that I needed to know and more she reassured me that she will be there for me and that my belongings will be safe. I am very pleased with the welcoming hello the moment I walked into the office then I knew that I was in the right place to store my belongings. Thank you Ann.

I just came from Access Storage in Brantford, Ontario and I have never had such great customer service!!
Ede was absolutely the most nicest, informative person.
She completely set my stress level to zero and it never rose above that.
Ede was personable, understanding and was so very easy to deal with.
She set my mind at ease, explained in full all of their products and never once was there any pressure to buy!
This lady is fantastic and as you can tell, I could keep going on.
Ede, it was great to meet you and I'll be seeing you in a couple weeks.

Stouffville Access Storage is very clean, easily accessible and well run. Herman and Rinkje have been there for years and know how to make your move in/move out easy. I highly recommend this space!

Jay Singh was the best person you can ask for when you don’t know a thing about storage. He made sure i am aware about the process and explained everything in detail. I recommend using this place and get in touch with Jay.

Long time customer. Never any issues with prompt response if you ever need to call. Clean, easy access, great staff, great hours (but can leave after hours if you need to). Store, for moving supplies, well stocked with wide varieties of items.

I note that Access Storage has 140 locations across Canada, so I am sorry to say that my experience will not necessarily be yours. Let's face it, every storage building and location, every manager and group of workers - every franchise - will be different. I therefore suggest these reviews be broken down by location to make the reviews more useful. In the meantime, I advise readers take them all with a grain of salt, since the location you're thinking of may be 4000 km from the one reviewed! PS Given there are NUMEROUS negative reviews that sound like legit complaints, I would love to see also what the resolution was to these complaints: according to the company response the matter was sent to the "Review" department, leading wary consumers like me to wonder "...and what happened after THAT? What did the company do to resolve this?" If you have settled the complaint and the customer is satisfied, why not ask them to negate or revise their earlier review? (Or maybe Google doesn't allow for this?)

Now for the POSITIVES: the location I used was at 32 Doncaster Avenue, Thornhill / Toronto. The two main men I dealt with there were Amer and Arnold. We found the storage clean and well-kept, and everything worked. When we were ready to downsize, the process was professional, and when we moved out we received a fair refund on our remaining paid rental days. Best of all, Amer and Arnold took good care of me when I needed it, and both were a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.
Note: the negative stories on this thread are a good reminder to use your critical discretion. Ask questions. And one tip: be creative about your keycode number so it won't be easily guessed, as that's a weak link in storage security. Ask about mice and rainwater damage provisions. And if the door is not secure enough for you, consider going somewhere else.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Kirsten @ Access has been fantastic since I started dealing with Access Storage. Her ability to deal with customers is amazing in a fading customer service industry. Her knowledge of the facility and exemplary talent to find the customers best fit should be noted. Also the facility is clean and well maintained.

We had reserved a locker on Wednesday that we thought would be of an adequate size, but when our movers saw it they felt it was too small. Riding to the rescue at the last minute, Kieran (who was at the end of her shift) who arranged for a second small unit to take the overflow. Thank you Access Storage and Kieran in particular. Martyn Lengden.

Nightmare experience. Outdoor unit was ransacked and many valuable and legacy items stolen and destroyed by vandals. Zero support from office and it was terrible service. Would never recommend. No surveillance video to review and no site patrol to check on things. Look at all your options before making your decision.

Access in Cricklewood. The service is brilliant, knowledgeable and professional.
I want to commend Godwin, Simeon and Abdul on their great service and that, hopefully, they will be rewarded for such!

Beware

I rented a unit in 2020 to 2021 and durning that time the roof above my unit became damaged and started to leaking. They did not inform me of this and fixed their roof. when I finally realized what was going on half my unit was destroyed I had the insurance they offer you on my unit but that did nothing. Access has done nothing and no one has responded to my emails or calls

Renters Beware

I would give Access Storage a minus 100 if I could. I had all my belongings stored there, while my house was being built and lost half of it due to mice infestation. I had to hire a restorator to clean what was salvageable. The storage company claims they are not responsible and received no compensation whatsoever. When you first sign up, they make you pay a mandatory content insurance (up to $5,000 coverage) which they tell you covers everything. When I made a claim for the $5,000, I was told the insurance didn’t cover anything…according to a policy which they do not provide copies of, either when you first sign up or when you make a claim. Very dishonest. I should have stored my belongings with Dymon.

Nikita and Keira are wonderful people who made our moving to Access Storage went very pleasantly. The booking experience was great. Keira is energetic, very helpful, patient. Great customer service!

Great customer service and will recommend to everyone

It’s Thursday afternoon at 5pm. It’s been 3 days since the big snow storm hit Toronto on Monday. The snow still sat on floor and freezes storage door, my movers can’t come into the storage bc of unclean snow on floor and broken gateway (gate can only open half and prevent big car go through). I tried to go into my storage by my 4 wheel drive SUV , I tried 3 times and my suv stuck on the gateway and couldn’t go into my storage.
I asked the access storage staff why there are still so many snow on the floor. The reasons were the company could not be able to find some company to shelve the snow.
I couldn’t go into my storage unit to get my furniture out to do staging. I will lose jobs bc I couldn’t go to the storage to get my furniture out to do my staging jobs because the storage door was frozen and couldn’t be be to open it.

Honestly I don't know nothing about storage I called diamonds storage there a bit rude, so Google you guys and I spoke with Sheela and she gave me the best break down on all my questions, such an amazing person and soul, I was really happy with the service so far.
Thanks to Sheela I became a customer now
