very short life.
The battery worked well for the first few months then an occasional error message would pop up. The error messages became more frequent. Twelve months and just out of warranty and the battery has completely shut done. very disappointing.

No plastic lugs for screws
Quick delivery, great price, works well - but lugs shown in photo to screw battery down did not exist. Battery working fine but am guessing risk it will dislodge at some point.

I ordered a replacement laptop battery…
I ordered a replacement laptop battery on a Thursday, it arrived the following Saturday. It was fairly easy to fit the battery and, once fitted and charged up, it is performing very well. I have seen the poor reviews, but Acerlaptopbattery delivered 5-star service in respect of my purchase.

Delighted
After a lot of fruitless research I found the exact battery needed for my laptop. It was at a reduced price -bonus! - and arrived quickly. I had it installed at a computer repair shop who reported to me that the battery is "a good one". I am more than pleased with the whole experience and would recommend this company. I would add that it is up to you to source the correct replacement with the identical serial number as your computer.

This company is a complete scam
This company is a complete scam. Their customer services representative 'Michelle Turner' is an out and out liar. Ordered three ACER laptop batteries on 7/10/2022. I have not received the goods and when I've emailed asking for a refund 'Michelle' keeps stating my refund will be processed. Still waiting. Please don't be fooled by this company.

Poor quality
When installed, battery only charged up to 94%. 5 months later the battery no longer holds charge and laptop only runs when plugged in.

Battery pack was in stock
Battery pack was in stock. Took about 3 days to arrive. Slightly different spec to original but same pattern and fitted. It charged to full but I need to cycle discharge/recharge to stabilise it. Whether it will live as long as the original which was manufactured and date stamped 2010 remains to be seen. The original was made in Japan and post-processed in China.
At present I'm satisfied with the seller.
I didn't buy the cheapest and I didn't buy the dearest but I agree there's far too many Chinese sellers masquerading as UK companies to give the impression that they are manufacturers instead of being in the obtain/sell-on chain, so that they can close shop and re-open under a different name when Trading Standards start investigating.

Pros: Good communication via email.
Cons: Standard shipping is actually 5-6weeks because this business is actually operating from China.
My experience: So placed my order on the 26 October and it arrived on the 2nd December.
