Spend your money elsewhere ..

Don't expect your battery any time soon as they are shipped to order from another country. I thought they were based in this country, wrong!

Mine then arrived with an issue, the locating lugs not being in the correct place. Immediately emailed their service email, 4 days later chasing them for a reply.

Advice, spend your money elsewhere.

I’m not hopeful

I’m not hopeful. I ordered an Acer battery from these people 10 days ago. I got a confirmation email along with a Hermes tracking number and link pretty quickly. Also a statement that said “depending on the type of delivery you’re tracking information may not be immediately available” This was a week ago, yet the tracking info is still not valid according to Hermes, the battery has not arrived and I’ve had no response from them on live chat or email. Think I’ve been had for £30. Not happy!!!

Good service

There was a problem with delayed delivery but the Supplier provided an acceptable answer and resulted in a one week delay. Battery as described and as original. Well packed and also supplied with fitting tools. Overall, very good service and apart from delay, very pleased with product.

I ordered a battery as I am going travelling for 6-9 months. The website said delivery would be 2-6 working days. After a week I had had no confirmation email so contacted them. The company appears to be a UK company but seems that they are a chinese company not UK!.Turns out that although the website said that the battery was in stock in the UK, it wasn't and therefore they were shipping it from China. So now I am leaving with no battery and no refund so far. I will continue to try to get the refund but....I am not hopeful.

4 YEARS AFTER.....
NO OFFER OF REFUND OR ANY REALLY HELP!!

Do not use this company......they sent a completely different battery to the one I ordered and they do not answer your emails and have no phone number.

wow, got a response over 4 years later to this, yet still no contact details given!

This company is a scam

This company is a scam, claiming to be in the UK but in fact they are based in China, I ordered a battery for my acer laptop and they sent a counterfeit item. I have emailed the seller 15 times with no response and now raised a case with Paypal.

Ordered a battery for our laptop

Ordered a battery for our laptop, took 2 weeks to arrive, that battery did not work. I emailed the company letting them know that we would go elsewhere to purchase a battery.They did not respond right away. By the time they replied, they said they would send another and to which I said we already bought one as we needed it asap as we required the computer for our business and I had sent both back. I had not heard back in ages they finally replied and said why did I send it to the factory as she was not sure they would be received? I have involved paypal and given the postal tracking number and I have not heard back yet. Pay pal is a bit useless as they said if they don't hear from the company in 5 days they will close the case. This helps me how??? I have all but given up and taken a loss of over £30 so if I were you, I would not use this company. Useless!! One star is too many!

Sent them a message via there query process as no contact number and I’ve had no response yet money also left my account over a week ago!

Better experience than other reviewers.

After ordering saw the adverse reviews and thought I had made a big mistake. They sent me an email after ordering and again when despatched with a Yodel tracking number. Tracked it and the battery arrived 3 days later in excellent packaging. Put it into laptop and charged it up, so at the moment all is fine. Time will tell if the battery lasts, but at the moment I have no problems with this company.

I'm waiting over a week now

I'm waiting over a week now. The Yodel tracking says the parcel has been collected but after a week has not reached their depot.

Is it Acerlaptopbattery.com or Yodel? Someone is inefficient and I am not sure if I will get my battery or whether its a fraud.

The battery was finally delivered fitted without problems and is better than the original fitted by Acer.

Misleading laptop battery seller

A replacement laptop battery was ordered from their online store which gave no indication that it was other than a UK trader. A standard delivery by MyHermes or Yodel with a period of 3 to 5 days was given by the company, with no inidcation the product was not available in the UK, and that it would be shipped from a European (Scandinavian) source. Our account was debited in full on the day of order (March 25, 2017). After 5 days with no information from Acerlaptopbattery, an email was sent on 31/03/17 asking: (a) when the battery was dispatched (b) the carrier (c) when due for delivery (d) a tracking reference.
Their email response (in broken English) failed to answer any of those questions and said only "Please wait for a few days in patience." A tracking reference was supplied, but on checking this showed no information. Eventually, tracking showed that the battery had finally - three days after ordering - been sent for dispatch from some location in Scandinavia, and eventually departing by air on March 31 - six days after order. Today, tracking showed 'order departed from sorting hub', but nothing about onward delivery.
This is totally unacceptasble. Further emails to the supplier have been ignored. I am now contacting Hampshire Trading Standards about the company and its misleading marketing information.
