Great one on one service

Establishing a loan with Achieve Loans was fine, but the customer communication and servicing after the setup was terrible.
We received letters about the loan being set up and received our funding, but then tried to follow the steps to set up online access. I kept getting an error that the system could not find my loan. I thought it was just a glitch since my loan was new. After several more days of seeing the same error message, I ended up calling in. And since they are based on the east coast, the times are not convenient for those living on the west coast.
I was then informed that I had to provide photos of the front and back of my license to them, and a selfie, in order to complete the process of setting up my online account. This step was never provided to me in the letters received through the mail; again, poor communication.
I was then able to sign in and make my first payment, which as due on the 1st of the month. Then their system tried to take another payment out of my bank account on the 15th, after just making a payment on the 1st. I called again and they told me that autopayment was set up for the 15th. The money was not in my account for another payment, so then they accessed a $15 fee. I called and asked about getting the fee removed, a fee that resulted from them trying to take another payment out just 2 weeks after I already paid, but they told me they could not reverse the charge.
All in all, the customer care and service is some of the worst I have ever encountered with a financial institution. I so not recommend Achieve loans.

They offer HELOCs up to $500k @ 5.99% figured I'd try. They offered me like $30k at double digit rates. I've got perfect credit, low debt, massive home equity.
Total bait and switch, dont even bother.

The overall experience was excellent I was given options on retaining my current loan or increase the loan amount which I did. Ever aspect of the loan and the details were thoughally explained and made easy to understand. The approval was fast and the loan was accomplished overly phone and the entire process took only a couple hours. The lady that assisted me was very professional and thorough a great individual to work with.

I fell for the five star reviews. Don't be stupid like me. When I found out this was actually Freedom Financial Network I knew I was had. To me it appears to be a bait and switch type company. They get you in with promises and then change everything so you end up paying a lot more than they told you initially. The loan officers / salespeople are desperate for Commission in my opinion they will say anything to get you in the door. Run do not walk.

To respond to the comments from achieve, how will you contact me using this anonymous review? That appears to be just a formulaic response. I'm really not going to change my mind you are not a good company to work with in my opinion.

Very patient et helpful

Melanie was my contact and she was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. She explained the entire process as she walked me through it. She has also kept me informed as to how my loan is progressing. The company couldn't ask for a better representative for their organization. She is the best!

The agent who helped me was super helpful and explained everything clearly. I had heard of consolidation loans before, but I never fully understood them until now. He made the process easy to follow and helped me feel informed and comfortable.

I’m excited to pay off my credit card and have one consistent monthly payment instead of juggling multiple cards. I’m still not completely sure about the long-term financial impact, but the lower interest rate and simpler payment plan already feel much more manageable. It feels like a milestone and is psychologically helpful to finally get a better handle on my finances.
