They should name this company NO Action Tour Guide.
I purchased 2 tour and was able to use the first one about half way before it couldn't find us. Tour number 2 was not used because our cruise ship didn't make that port, so I asked for a refund and was told I could get credit for a future tour...didn't want a future tour after the first one left us half way through it. Emailed Ash K and she only answers the emails that she want to..not all the you send.
They have a refund policy...Refund: If you still need a refund, here is how you can get one. The refund process depends on where you purchased your Tour.
Email this on the 2/10 and it is now 2/15 NO RESPONSE...Like I said NO ACTION..Stay Away

We downloaded the Action Tour Guide for Joshua Tree National Park on a friend's recommendation. It exceeded our expectations. Very cool how the app can use GPS tracking, even with no cell signal. We found the tour guide to be informative and entertaining. I can't imagine now, a first time visit without a guide.

Bought the Maui sunrise audio but found out when we arrived at the park it was not an entrance pass nor did they say when they took my money you had to sign up for another pass nor did they give a link or better they should have signed me up since they had all my info already. They charged me 80 dollars for eight people in the van but then when I complained they said I only needed one pass again misleading.

We did the Gettysburg driving tour and it was a great experience! It enriched our time and made it so we could visualize the events that took place. The app was easy to use and it would auto-play as we drove along and passed certain sites, making it super easy to focus on the sites and not the app. 100% would recommend this to anyone looking to make a day trip to Gettysburg!

We rented a car & this tour was the key! We really got to see and experience so many hidden treasures on Oahu with this app!
We recommended already to another couple who had just arrived.
Very easy to use - we even jumped around a few times. Great find- saved us tons of money too!

The things I loved about this tour are:

1. Once the app is turned on, there is no more I need to do on my end. The app uses GPS to automatically recognize where we are and activates the corresponding recording. That was really helpful and awesome.
2. I loved the hawaiian music in between the stops.
3. The information about the stop was really interesting and presented well.
4. The app gives excellent directions.

I am so happy I used this with a rental car instead of paying hundreds of dollars for a tour. I spent as much or as little time as I wanted at each stop, and went to more stops than any other tour offered. I was also able to split it up over several days. This app was the best decision we made on the trip.

Such a great idea! I decided to take a visitor to Cades Cove and was searching YouTube videos for information, when Action Tour Guide popped up. Immediately I realized this is exactly what I needed. I bought the tour, downloaded the app to my phone, and wow. It's aligned to GPS markers, so that as we drove the loop the audio would start with what we were about to see, where to park, the history of it, and everything! It made the experience completely worth it and enjoyable. When I told friends about it afterward they were all interested in buying this. I will definitely buy other tours.

5 stars all the way. We used this tour on the south rim of the Grand Canyon and it was the best tour I have ever taken. Interesting info and the gps knew where we were at all times. We could stop and go whenever we wanted and even double back. Will absolutely use this company again.

Using this app in Boston and Salem was wonderful! I loved all the information given. The GPS was perfect. We could stop whenever we wanted and start back up again. It also gave an option to get more information about an area or people. This app had so many tours of Boston. We took 3 different tours of the city. I would definitely use this app again.

The self-driving tour was a great way to experience both Bryce and Zion National Parks. The information was presented in an interesting and engaging manner. I will certainly look for more Action Tours as I travel.

This was a great tour, learning at your own speed while having plenty of spots to stop and explore. Had teenage kids and they enjoyed it as well. Tons of beautiful views!!

I loved the way it would begin at certain points to give you history of the area. Made the trip a lot more interesting. Even shows you how to get to starting point via map. Loved it.

The 2 self guided driving tour that we took last week in The Great Smoky Mountains we’re both really nice! Lots of history that was really interesting!

We used the guide in Newport, RI to tour the historic mansions there. Lots of interesting details and history and the GPS was spot on. Be sure the battery is fully charged on whatever device you're using for the tour. Enjoyable experience, and would certainly use it again!

This app was easy to download and instructions were simple. We used this for Arches National Park. It was very informative and provided us with some great detail about the different viewpoints. The Tour Guide seemed to follow our path quite accurately and really allowed us to enjoy the park even more.
