Appalling service, zero reliability, and dishonest excuses
Avoid Active Away. Their terrible communication and lack of professionalism completely ruined our holiday plans.
In April, I requested a provisional invoice for a tennis holiday and received an email confirming they had my details. I was then completely ghosted for two months—no invoice was sent, and my repeated phone calls were ignored. We reasonably assumed the trip wasn't happening.
Out of nowhere in June, we received an automated demand for full payment of £2,728. When I cancelled, the manager tried to blame me, claiming they never received my paperwork. This was completely dishonest; I had email proof they received it, and another colleague had already admitted it was their own internal oversight.
They have now voided the booking, but their contradictory excuses and awful customer service mean I will never trust this company again.

Fantastic week of tennis coaching at Aphrodite Hills delivered by Amelia and India. The girls did a superb job with nothing being too much trouble for them. 10/10 tennis holiday!
Active Away do an excellent job of balancing high-level tennis coaching and a relaxing 5-star holiday. As a solo traveller, I was initially a little apprehensive of how my week would unfold, but I felt welcomed and quickly became part of the group dynamic.
Each day was thoughtfully and meticulously planned. The coaching was high-energy, fast-paced and tailored, making it both challenging to each player and highly enjoyable. Dan and Annie are exceptional coaches who not only brought expertise, but genuine care and consideration to each player. They created a fun, supportive environment that made the whole experience even more memorable. Beyond the tennis, they were fantastic hosts and got fully involved in the social side too.
I honestly could not fault my tennis holiday and am already looking forward to rebooking next year! Thank you so much to Dan and Annie and the whole team at Active Away for creating such amazing memories!

Active Away tennis holidays- quality coaching, fun times and stunning locations .
Active Away tennis holidays are a brilliant way to learn some new tennis tips and skills , in a stunning location , and have fun with new friends at the same time. The holidays are excellently organised , and the on site coaches are also your hosts , delivering instruction and great fun, both on and off court.
There are many different hotels and countries to choose from. I find Liberty Lykia in Turkey to be the best, but standards are high wherever you go with Active Away.

Great tennis good memories
This is our 5th time at Lydia Lykia and once again a great experience. The updated session plan worked really well and I felt the energy levels were even higher. The updated sessions gave me new insight. The coaches were again a credit to those that strive to get the mix right. Engaged, insightful and upbeat. The mix of tennis and après-tennis is managed with a light touch. As always it feels like a family run tennis active holiday. Caught up with old friends and made new ones. If you have not been on an Active Away holiday you are missing out. if you have see you next time. Great tennis. Good memories

I was a little apprehensive as I hadn’t played any racquet games for years, but my husband and I received a warm welcome and had a great week! The coaches were great and it has provided the motivation for me to continue- we will be back!

Best Holiday Experience
We have just come back from Liberty Lykia in Turkey where we had the most amazing time. All of the coaches go the extra mile to make sure the holiday was perfect from start to finish. The coaching on court was of the highest standard, as it always has been. The resort is beautiful, friendly staff and the attention to detail is exemplary. We have made life long friends and will be returning for sure. Highly recommended.

Active Away are absolutely brilliant-if you are looking for phenomenal coaching, fantastic people, wonderful locations and a week of guaranteed fun-I highly recommend it! I have learnt more in a week from the coaches than I could possibly imagine-both strategy and skills, as well as individual tips during practice and play. First trip with Active Away. Super impressed with all aspects. Communication was first class … before , during and after … daily updates and schedules. All really good. But the vibe anout the holiday was exceptional. Padel Coaching team led by Cam were excellent. Great clarity in all they were trying to achieve along with really nice individual interventions and tips within the group setting every day. Managed to get the perfect blend between being professional and having fun spot on. Super friendly off the court as well. Fantastic break. Highly recommend these guys.
