I have dealt with Acumen since David Thompson arranged a mortgage for us in 1995, which I think speaks for itself.
Over the years they have been excellent managing mortgages and a frozen pension fund.
More recently Paul Mellor has prepared me for retirement by managing my pensions into a single fund. Paul treats me like a friend or family member and ensures he understands my needs and communicates his recommendations effectively. An excellent advisor.
Overall I am very satisfied with Acumen, highly recommended

Paul has handled my pension now for a number of years and has always been very professional but in a way that you’d think that he was your friend, he simply explains all and everything that gives you all the facts to my a personal situation that makes the decision that suits me best,but that works best for your pension.

Paul and the team have been exemplary in helping to resolve an issue with my pension provider despite the issue lying firmly with the provider and not themselves. They kept me updated throughout and put pressure on the provider to remediate satisfactorily. Would highly recommend.

He has dealt with my life insurance and made sure I was getting the best options for me and my partner. Alex’s support, guidance and help throughout our mortgage application and amendment was fantastic. He kept us up to date, was always readily available and his advice on possible mortgage amendments was so helpful. It enabled us to complete on our house sooner when we thought we may have lost it. Mike Fogarty has been my financial advisor for several years. He always provides excellent advice but on a level that I can understand.
Just recently my children have received a rather complicated inheritance and Mike has also advised us on the way forward with that. Mike is always friendly and provides an excellent service.
