My experience of hiring bike box was everything it says on the website and more. The bag arrived well before time and was in a very good condition. The packing was little underwhelming but then there was a note inside apologising for it. Thank you for giving me good head start for my first ever cycling trip abroad.

I found Adventure Kit Hire had a difficult-to-source part for sale for my bike trainer. They posted the part very quickly, but, beyond their control, there was a problem with the courier. They were very easy to contact, very understanding and very helpful and dispatched a replacement part immediately. Can’t fault their service.

I hired a package of tent, sleeping pad and sleeping bag. The process was perfect and the staff were genuinely interested in my feedback so they could improve things, even know it was already a great service. The kit was perfect for me.

I was in two minds over what bikepacking kit ti buy when I found Adventure Kit Hire. They gave me the opportunity to try a setup at a relatively low cost before purchasing. Everything about there service was spot on!

I have hired several wetsuits in the past for my children to use in triathlon and never had any hitches with sizing etc so couldn't really comment on their customer service. This year instead of replacing my old wetsuit with a new one I decided to hire. The first one I ordered was too small, but after a few minutes on the phone I was impressed by how knowledgeable they were and they soon had a suitable replacement on the way. The returns process both in returning the wrong sized suit and returning the replacement at the end of the season is so streamlined it couldn't possibly by any easier.

The ordering process was very clear and the questions asked were really detailed so the wetsuit I received was a perfect fit. It arrived early and the return process was very easy. A great service from every aspect.

Hired a hard case cycle box for a European cycling holiday. Easy ordering process, plenty of updates on expected delivery and it arrived via DHL on time. No issues with box and how my bike was protected. Easy booking process to return the box and collected by DHL. Only minor issue was that collection window was not known until late on, on the collection day. All in all a great experience.

Easy and straightforward process. All arrived in plenty of time. Good, clean kit sent, in full working order and all parts present. Easy returns process.

Hired a wet suit for an Ironman 70 3. Staff extremely helpful and the wetsuit was perfect. Will definitely be using them again.

Ally from Adventure Kit Hire did a virtual wetsuit fitting for me this morning and gave me some excellent help. Keen to offer me ways to better use my current wetsuit the majority of the chat was tips for getting the suit on better and a final chat about how they can help me if these tips don't work. If you are in any doubt book a fitting with them, there's no pressure selling and the hire deals seem (to me) to be very good value if you do need their service.

So easy to rent equipment ! The team were very responsive and I was sent a replacement wetsuit very quickly!

AKH found themselves in a difficult position, knowing that the swim was likely to be and eventually was cancelled, the day before the event. Although I wasn't happy that a full refund was not offered initially, I have to say that their action of a personal phone call to receive my feedback was a good reaction and shows their commitment to 'customer first', I believe whatever the situation is, they would always try and do what's best for their customers.

Things that really stood out:
- When I filled in the form for my size and clearly did it wrong, they got in touch on WhatsApp to check. This saved me a lot of stress.
- Sort of repeat, but you can message them on WhatsApp. More businesses should do this, it’a a lot easier than email!
- When I returned an item a day late, due to delayed pickup, they didn’t make a fuss.
- Very clear instructions on their website, on the leaflet they send and via email. No room for confusion.

Hired a dog trailer as we wanted to see how our dog adapted to a new mode of transport….in the end she decided it was not for her despite our best efforts. That aside, our experience with Adventure Kit Hire was excellent. At the last minute they hit an issue with trailer availability and called me to both apologise and find a workable solution if at all possible. This resulted in a brand new dog trailer being delivered a few days later and as soon as they could have it delivered, still reaching us in time for our holiday. The courier return was straightforward and we promptly received an email confirming return receipt of the trailer. An excellent experience all round.

I was looking for a wetsuit to hire for an upcoming triathlon and I stumbled upon Adventure Kit Hire, who have been fantastic. The website was easy to use with plenty of questions to ensure they got the right type of wetsuit and the right fit. Unfortunately, the wetsuit that arrived was slightly too small, but a short phone call later I had another wetsuit arriving the following day which was exactly the right size.

The wetsuit itself was good quality and in great condition, and I was very tempted to use the purchase option after using it a couple of times! However, I sent it back, along with the one that didn’t fit, which was really easy to do with the information they provided.

If I ever need a wetsuit for hire again, I know exactly where I’m going to get it!
