Had my appointment booked in for am. As wife was working from home.
Engineer didn’t ring till 12 o clock to say he was running late.
I was at work so had to ring my mam and get her to come up and wait while my wife left for work at 12.

Very disappointed that I had no phone call earlier that day.
When engineer was there he was great.

Steve, the engineer, was friendly, swift in doing his job and helpful. He was able to answer any questions I had and explained the process he was undertaking before starting.

Darren contacted us beforehand to tell us when he would be arriving which was very helpful. Extremely knowledgeable polite and explained everything to us very much appreciated. Excellent service provided

AES Engineer PAUL came on behalf of Octopus to change my aged mother's outdated twin electric meter setup.
He discovered major problems with the external electricity supply. (The main fuse in process of melting/old bitumen seeping into contacts etc). So had to get National Grid to attendthe property to sort that all out before he could proceed with his actual installation.
Despite the wait, and the job now going on well into the dark evening he remained positive, cheerful and fully committed to completing the switchover.
He finished off by giving a clear, patient explanation and demonstration of the updated installation.
He really was a one-of-a-kind skilled technician who did his company proud.

This is a great business - We elected AES as our Meter Operator for our brand new 200kVa commercial connection. They advised and arrived bang on time to install our half-hourly meter... not only this, they saved us an entire days worth of production when we were left without power by SSE, going the extra mile (figuratively and literally) to ensure we were powered up and commissioned when all other parties had let us down greatly.

Seriously, trust this outfit.

Had a smart meters fitted today by Cairen, I must say it was first class service, I wasn't looking forward to it just the inconvenience, but the job was completed quickly explained what I needed to do with my Mini Octopus and job done. So if you get Cairen Hall you will be getting first class service. Thank you.

John was on time, fast and efficient. He explained what he was doing and time. There were no problems with the installation process and he checked boiler, gas appliances and electrics before leaving

This was a WOW! moment. Had issues with E7 not kicking in so not hot water & no storage radiator heat - all electric home no gas. Messaged our supplier at about 0845hrs. Octopus diagnosed a meter issue and arranged for AES to respond. He called to give me an ETA and arrived just when he said he would at nearly 2200hrs. He fitted a new meter & left at 2330hrs ish. In the morning we had hot water aarrrhhh! to wash in and hot storage radiators. The time made this above & beyond for me. Well done.
