I had an installation of a smart meter today and the engineer Michael Peers was brilliant. There were some teething issues with access to the location and Michael was patient, professional and helpful. Great job, thanks Michael.

Michael Peers was my engineer, he was on time, friendly, helpful and for the first time in nearly a year, I had reassurance the problem with the meter would be resolved.

Meter relocation job. The DNO had issues that delayed the job past Micheal Peers finish time. 1700. He arranged for the night shift cover to install my meter but having realised this delay was going to be some hours into the night he drove back and got me reconnected fairly quickly. Great customer service going the extra mile for the customer.

Our air source heat pump stopped working. AES came out to look at the problem. They were initially unable to diagnose the issue but after some further visits were able to diagnose that the compressor had failed and a new air source heat pump unit was required. AES sourced a new unit and installed it quickly and efficiently. There was a problem with the hot water and after a couple of follow up visits AES fixed it and everything is now working well.
The AES customer service and follow up is excellent and their office staff and engineers are very friendly and have a good "can do" attitude to ensuring everything is working and that we are happy.
The issue was quite complex and I think this was a bit of a learning curve for them, but the team persevered and everything was sorted out in the end.
I would be happy to use AES again and look forward to them servicing the unit next year.

Jeff Parry came on behalf of AES Metering/So Energy to install our brand new smart meters. Previous visits from other suppliers simply took one look at our meter cupboard and refused to fit a meter as it meant having to move a few bits to make room for the new kit.
Jeff was very pragmatic and immediately came up with a solution to the problem. He explained everything he was doing and didn't do anything without confirming with us first.
He was also very patient with me when I had to clear a path for him in the loft to access the boiler flue.
I cannot praise Jeff highly enough, and so far I am very happy with So Energy.
