We understand you're upset about not passing your challenge stage. As we explained in detail, we provided feedback on the areas of concern in your trading. Posting multiple Trustpilot reviews won’t change the outcome, but we’re happy to clarify things again.

This was a giveaway account, and while we normally don’t offer resets on those, we made an exception out of goodwill because you’ve been a loyal customer. Normally we would only offer a reset for paid accounts.

Calling us a scam simply because you didn’t like the feedback doesn’t make it true. You’ve previously been funded with us it why would now try to deny you passing to the next stage of a challenge as you are referring to 3 step giveaway account — not a funded account. You passed step 1, then failed a trade review on step 2 and were offered a free reset, you had not progressed to step 3 or passed step 3 so no funded account has been denied.

We’ve done our best to be fair and transparent but continuing to post inaccurate reviews isn’t helpful to you or anyone else.

Hello, but your comment is not an accurate reflection of what occurred.

As explained via email and in our public Discord announcement, we recently changed our brokerage partner. During this transition, all accounts were deactivated as part of the migration process. This was not done without reason, and it was clearly communicated to all traders.

You were given instructions on how to resume your challenge under the new broker, and our support team remains available to assist if you need help with this.

Affluent Trading has always prioritised transparency and trader support. We understand changes can be frustrating, but we assure you there was no wrongdoing or unfair treatment in your case.

If you need further clarification or assistance getting set up again, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team or open a ticket in the Discord.

We appreciate all feedback, even when it’s critical. However, your review is misleading and misrepresents the facts. Let’s set the record straight:

You violated our Terms of Service – Our rules explicitly prohibit hedging (Section 11 of our Terms). You admitted to using a hedging-based approach multiple times. Knowingly breaking the rules disqualifies you from receiving a funded account.

You were given a chance to continue – Despite your high-risk and non-compliant trading behaviour, we offered you a free reset, which you declined. Instead of taking responsibility, you chose to call us scammers.

Risk Management Matters – While we do have lot size and stop-loss rules, traders are still required to maintain a structured strategy and responsible risk management. Our analysis, both automated and manual, flagged your approach as reactive and inconsistent with professional trading standards.

Affluent Trading is committed to fairness and transparency, but we also have a responsibility to maintain our risk policies. We welcome serious traders who follow our guidelines, and we stand by our decision in this case.

If you expect a prop firm to ignore risk management violations, this is not the place for you. We fund serious traders who follow the rules, not those looking to exploit the system.

Your attempt to discredit us does not change the facts. Affluent Trading is committed to fairness, transparency, and strict adherence to our policies. Traders who follow the rules succeed here—those who don’t will not.

We stand by our previous response and will clarify once again for full transparency:

1️⃣ Evidence Was Provided – Your account was closed based on clear violations, and you were presented with evidence. No one "pressured" you—our team simply asked for an explanation regarding the rule breaches and you were unable to answer any of our questions and would reply with irrelevant statements like "I don't like tradingview.

2️⃣ Repeated History of Dishonesty – Your past actions are relevant, as they show a consistent pattern of dishonesty, including multiple attempts to cheat in competitions. While you were given a second chance, you continued to break the rules, including breaching KYC by trading under someone else’s account.

3️⃣ Firm Policy on Cheating – Your statement that "everyone cheats in competitions" is not a justification. We enforce strict standards to ensure fairness for all traders. Violating rules—past or present—is taken seriously.

4️⃣ You Were Never Staff – Having an affiliate code does not make you a staff member. Affiliates are independent users who promote our firm, but they do not have any internal role or authority within Affluent Trading.

5️⃣ Your Removal from Discord & DMs – Due to repeated misconduct, false accusations, and abusive behaviour towards staff, removal was necessary. We do not tolerate disrespect within our community.

Affluent Trading remains committed to fairness, transparency, and integrity. We will always uphold strict compliance to protect our traders and ensure a professional environment.

Use of VPNs:

Permitted with Notification: We allow the use of VPNs; however, it's essential to inform us beforehand. This ensures compliance with our security protocols and regulatory requirements.

Security Measures: Unnotified VPN usage, especially from restricted regions, can trigger security alerts, potentially leading to account suspension.

Use of Expert Advisors (EAs):

Permitted with Verification: We permit the use of EAs, provided they are verified to ensure adherence to our trading rules.

Verification Process: This process involves submitting the EA for review and may include a nominal fee to cover the evaluation.

In your case, our records indicate that:

EA Submission: You were informed about the EA verification process but chose not to submit your EA or proceed with the associated fee.

Unnotified VPN Usage: Subsequently, a VPN associated with regions outside our operational scope was used without prior notification, leading to security concerns.

Account Status: As a result, your account was suspended on December 11, 2024, and closed on December 23, 2024, due to these policy breaches.

Regarding your funded account:

Account Acquisition: You won the account through a giveaway and did not incur any personal expense.

Trading Activity: During the active period, your account achieved a 1% profit, below the 4% target required for a payout.

Account Suspension: The majority of the time you held the account, it was suspended due to security breaches, limiting your trading opportunities.

Stop posting lies about us online it won't help your case. Here is the original email we shared with you showing that your lack of risk management is what caused the violation.

I hope this message finds you well. Upon reviewing recent trades on your $100,000 challenge account, it has come to our attention that your position sizing exceeded the acceptable risk parameters set forth by Affluent Trading.

Summary of the Issue:
Lot Size Exceeded: Your account was holding 8 lots on gold, split into four trades of 2 lots each. This exceeded the maximum recommended lot size of 2.0 for a $100,000 account, as outlined in our risk management guidelines.
No Stop Loss Used: We noted that there was no stop loss set on these trades. While using a stop loss is recommended but not mandatory, taking on excessive leverage (such as 8 lots on gold) without a stop loss introduces significant risk, particularly if this were a live account. Our goal as traders is to first and foremost protect our capital rather than chasing returns, and maintaining risk management standards is essential to this goal.
High Intraday Drawdown: The account experienced a near -4% drawdown during the day, followed by a positive close of 8%. While the profit target was met, the position sizing and risk exposure triggered a review under our Daily Profit Review and Risk Management policies.
Reason for the Reset:
At Affluent Trading, we strive to transition successful traders to A book accounts, where trades go directly to the market, offering the potential for greater long-term gains. However, this move requires strict adherence to risk management practices to avoid excessive leverage, which can lead to margin calls and potentially jeopardise both your success and the firm’s stability.

These rules are in place to ensure both your success and our firm’s sustainability over the long term. By following them, you’re developing the responsible trading habits essential for continued growth and stability as a funded trader.

Relevant Policy Highlights:
Our policies aim to maintain responsible risk management practices for both the trader and the firm, ensuring stability and consistency. As per our guidelines:

Lot Size Limits: For a $100,000 account, the maximum recommended lot size is 2.0. Trades exceeding this are subject to review.
Daily Profit Review: Any profit above 2% in a single day prompts a review to confirm adherence to a consistent and responsible trading strategy.
Given the nature of this trade and its deviation from the expected risk management standards, we must reset your challenge account. However, as this is your first time breaching the rules, we are pleased to offer you a free retake of the challenge as a gesture of goodwill.
