No classroom experience
No classroom experience, abbreviated field experience not reflective of the real world and poor coordination/communication.
Field experiences was “ minimum to look out for”. Houses that have been inspected countless times over ( homeowners verified… calling the teachers friends and saying “when the next one” as well as issues still were found by students that the teachers had to go back and let the homeowners know of. (Example radon vents not penetrating through the roof just exhausting to the attic space).

Needs updated
So the course has all the information that is needed but in more than one class or course entirely there was alot of out dated data, information, images or slides in general. A lot of that information has already become irrelevant with new technology that we could have used to be more effective.

Practice, Practice, Practice
The diagnostic test that showed me where to focus my studying was very helpful. However, the most valuable portion was having so many practice questions to work on. It helped me zero in on areas of weakness to go study further. I followed the recommended pace and am happy and relieved to say that I passed the NHIE on the first try!

Excellent content, but practice test are nothing like the real test. Wording of the real test it is far more complicated and different than the practices.

The curriculumn is great
The curriculumn is great, its just strange that in 2025 that there is such a lack of digital media, like audio or video in the actual textbook or learning. It would be great if i was able to absorb some of this info while im on the go .
