I purchased AI Black Magic (AI Avalanche) in 2025 when it was advertised as a one-time payment for lifetime access. Since then, the company has introduced a subscription model, which has significantly reduced my confidence in the service.

I was recently offered a free trial of the Pro version, but after exploring it, I honestly don't see enough value to justify paying for a subscription.

To be fair, AI Black Magic does a decent job of bringing together AI news, prompts, tutorials, and other resources in one place. However, most of this information is already available online for free. With a little effort, you can achieve similar results using ChatGPT, Claude, or your preferred AI assistant. You're essentially paying for convenience rather than exclusive knowledge.

My biggest concern is the business model. I originally paid for lifetime access, and now there's a new subscription tier. What guarantees do customers have that the company won't change its pricing or access conditions again in the future? This change has made me reluctant to invest any more money in the platform.

If you're considering purchasing Pro, I strongly recommend exploring the free alternatives first. Ask ChatGPT or Claude to find relevant resources, create prompts, or compile AI news for you. You might be surprised by how much you can accomplish without paying another subscription.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend upgrading to Pro. The content doesn't justify the recurring cost for me, and the shift away from the original lifetime payment model has undermined my trust in the company.

The good stuff eventually ends up behind a new paywall.

I've already paid, but then they introduced the pro version, and even though I was one of the first to pay a one-time payment, I can't get access to most of the content. Basically, for what I paid for, I can get access to everything on the internet for free, and even better resources.

I bought a package off an Instagram ad during Black Friday in 2025. I was pleased with what was being offered, there were some useful things to learn from. Then, a new tier came in, some "premium" stuff was to be added there. At first, not a big deal, some nice things were still being added to the tier I paid money for. As time has gone by, the thing I paid for is worthless.

I do not recommend giving them your business. Look for your own stuff on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or your preferred service. Nothing magical here except the disappearing act of your cash.

I signed up when its pricing was 29$ one time. Now they have shifted to a subscription model, and most of the things are now paid, and my access has been limited to some basic things only. They should've offered Pro Subscription to existing customers.
