JT, if you didn't like the taste, the answer should have been a refund, not three more shipments. Simple as that.
Email me at derik@alcamielements.com and mention your Trustpilot review and I'll cancel and refund the remaining cycles. If you're ever curious, the Original is nearly flavourless and made to go into your own coffee rather than replace it — but I'd rather fix your account first and leave the product question entirely up to you.

Dishonest company with terrible customer service
Beware! It is not closely stated that they have a mandatory three month subscription! In fact, their website says you can cancel at any time. However, they will not let you cancel by insisting you need to stay locked in for three months.
Their customer service is absolutely awful. They have an AI poorly respond to your requests at first. Then, when an actual human responds, they will provide the same canned responses.
The owner is also a total liar. Derik said he couldn’t cancel my order because it had already shipped. However, it didn’t ship until a week later. They had plenty of time to cancel my order, like I requested, before it even shipped.
Very untrustworthy and dishonest company! Beware!

I'm the Derik in this review, so I'll answer for myself. If I told you the order had shipped and it didn't leave for another week, then I gave you wrong information — our fulfilment status and what actually moves out the door haven't always matched, and I should have checked rather than relayed.
The cancel-anytime language versus a three-month commitment is the more serious point, and I'm not going to argue it with you. Email me at derik@alcamielements.com with your order number and mention your Trustpilot review, and I'll refund you.

Their site claims orders are risk-free, but you can't cancel your subscription for three additional months after a trial. Very much a bait-and-switch pricing scam and a violation of the October 16, 2024, Federal Trade Commission (FTC) "Click-to-Cancel" Rule, which aims to make it easier for consumers to cancel subscriptions:
• Cancellation process: Requires businesses to make it as easy to cancel a subscription as it was to sign up for it. The cancellation mechanism must be at least as simple as the method used to initiate the subscription.
• Disclosure: Requires businesses to disclose the negative option and other terms of the transaction before obtaining a customer's billing information.
• Consent: Requires businesses to obtain a customer's consent to the negative option.
• Misrepresentations: Prohibits businesses from making any material misrepresentations related to the recurring product or service.
• Recordkeeping: Requires businesses to keep records of consent.
The rule applies to businesses that offer goods and services through: automatically renewing payment plans, free or discounted trials that convert into full plans, and other "negative" option features.
No one should be forced to like something, especially when the About page clearly states "risk-free" ordering.
Trial offers are fine, and common, but it is in fact illegal to force a non-disclosed three additional month, uncancelable, contract that is absolutely not abundantly transparent at the billing transaction stage. The pricing terms switch as well... Be forewarned.

Erin, thank you for laying this out as carefully as you did — the gap between "risk-free" on our About page and a three-month commitment at checkout is a real inconsistency, and that's the criticism I'm taking from this.

Steady energy and mental clarity all day long.
This product is compelling for my health and well-being. I've been using it for two full months and consume several servings a day now because it helps me think clearly and have steady energy without caffeine. Not to mention, when I contacted customer service, the response came from one of the company's two founders. I am completely happy and impressed with this amazing product and the company culture.
