You will complete the checklist and the reservation agreement, setting out the key terms and conditions of the purchase including the price, reservation period and other important information relating to your new home. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Meet the builder When you reserve your new home, an appointment will be made by the sales executive for you to meet your dedicated experienced site manager. This will give you the opportunity to watch your home progress, review timings and plans and to raise any questions you may have in relation to your home. Points of contact We will also provide you with a main point of contact during the whole home buying process. This member of staff will assist you with any information you may need during your reservation, your moving in experience and beyond. Fabulous customer service

Just want to say how fabulous the customer service team at Allison Homes has been. With a big shout out to Tareena and Kevin who have made a massive contribution to us being extremely happy customers. It is always a pleasure dealing with Tareena and all the crew dealing with any fixings that need to be sorted and it was sways amazes me how quickly everything is fixed. Thank you all Tracy

Fantastic Support

I have bought new builds properties in the past but the customer support that Allison Homes has provided fantastic support and the care they give is second to none. We have been here a year now and Tareena has been absolutely fantastic and had all of our issues sorted out very quickly. Tareena follows up with everything and makes our lives a lot easier. I had some cracks in my staircase

I had some cracks in my staircase, I contacted Tareena via email and she send Leigh a nice and professional work man. He fixed the stairs case and the sealing in the floor of my bathroom. He did an amazing job.

Excellent process from start to finish

My Allison homes experience has been nothing but fabulous from the beginning. Sales were great, I had plenty of input and site visits before completion. The house is just lovely!
Every new build will have some snags, and nothing has been too much trouble with the after sales team. Tareena and Arya in particular have been so so helpful and accommodating when it comes to organising the work and the workmen themselves have been timely, efficient and even found other things to fix while they’re here just to be helpful.
All in all, I couldn’t be happier!

I have contacted Tareena page from Allison homes on multiple occasions, she has always been helpful and managed to get my issues sorted quickly! I feel confident when contacting her that my issues will be dealt with.

After an initial pleasant experience…

After an initial pleasant experience purchasing (to the point where we allowed Tracey to use our house as a show home after we had moved in) and moving into the property with a lot of Snags being resolved. We have one snag which is causing us continuous issues (which Allison Homes have now said they believe it to be resolved).

The 2 fence panels closest to our property are in the air, previously when this was flagged, the fencing team came round and screwed a piece of wood onto the floating fence as a temporary fix and said the grass level is incorrect. After this, apparently the grass people came around (didn't knock and the gate is locked) and advised that they are happy with the grass level. (unfortunately cannot put a picture here, but imagine a piece of scrap wood with 2 screws into the bottom of your fence obviously its a different colour too). This piece of wood is not only ugly to look at, but has actually bent the fence as well due to it being wedged in.

A new chap came around to take a look and ended up going to get the site manager to get 2 new fence panels signed off. The site manager (new guy) came and told us we would get 2 new fence panels (with boards below) and mentioned that he was concerned that the property was signed off in the original state.

After chasing this work with customer service, it appears the site manager hasn't logged this work and now the company are denying this conversation happened (unfortunately was over 60 days ago so my cameras do not show the conversation). They have now said they will not fix the fence (even though there have been multiple times where our dog has almost escaped to our neighbours).

Overall very upsetting to be told that we are lying about a conversation with the Site Manager and now we are going to be out of pocket just to secure our rear garden.

Poor customer service and poor quality control

All was well during the purchasing stage of our property at Cromwell Fields. Tracey and Liz were great and friendly. But we turned up on the day of completion and everything was wrong. Mouldy grass out front, no carpets upstairs (which was paid for in advance), patio doors didn’t close properly, rusty extractor hood, leaks present in bathroom and downstairs, poor plastering quality throughout. We ended up handing our keys back on the day of completion and were put in a hotel. We ended up having an independent snagging inspection which picked up on a further 88 issues. A lot were quality issues but some were major. 7 months later we are still having issues and are still waiting for a replacement bath panel that wasn’t fitted correctly when we moved in. Great service before purchasing but terrible customer service after. No coordination or organisation for the snags. As a customer with a disability this has been even harder to deal with.

Update: was due to get bath panel replaced last Thursday but it went missing from site and can not be located. No Co-ordination or organisation.

Update: Parts of the garden need digging up after a year due to flooding as no drainage was installed during the build. Customer care confirm this is an issue with several builds. Was identified in beginning of August 2022 and is due to be completed July 2023.

Update: Part of the garden was dug up and ground drainage installed to help with flooding. Half the garden was ruined by the contractors who filled in the trench with “topsoil” from the farmers field opposite our property (theft). I informed customer care immediately and they have not been helpful. It’s been nearly 3 weeks and no attempt has been made to correct this mess. Me and my fiancé did it ourselves on the weekend as something in the “topsoil” made our dog unwell. Unacceptable behaviour from contractor and customer care do not care!

Top Class Customer Service All Round

Now our third appointment and still the same high level of customer service!

Our most recent meeting was for our choices. We had the right balance of space to think through our options and to receive objective input/feedback when needed to make important decisions. Ultimately, we were pleased with the outcome and thankful for the support in the process.

Their consciousness is clear to see; thoughtful in their manner and communication. It never feels like just a business transaction; more like supporting a family through the journey/process into their new home.

Excellent people skills, making us feel at ease and comfortable.

Clarity and regularity of updates, keeping us informed in a timely fashion and ever willing to answer any queries.

So far, so good! 😊

Happy new home owner!

From the first time meeting Tracy and confirming the plot we wanted to reserve she has been fantastic. Tracy and Liz couldn't be more knowledgeable and always willing to answer any of our questions and queries. It also helps that she is super friendly, and approachable!
Sean and his team on site who have built our home and up till now have done everything and more to make sure our home is just the way we would want it!

Disappointed, frustrated and giving up.

I wanted to view the Normanby show home but there isn't one at Cromwell fields so they made me an appointment at Wittering instead.
When I arrived the lady was very nice but had no idea I was coming and couldn't answer all my questions so she called the superviser Charlotte and made an appointment for me back at cromwell fields a couple of days later.
I turned up but the sales office was shut and nobody was around. I called the number, left a voicemail and sent an email but eventually gave up and went home. Several days later I still haven't heard from anybody!
I am serious about buying one of the plots but a bit concerned that nobody can be bothered to turn up or even let me know they are not coming. It doesn't bode well for future communications.
I think i will have to give up and try another site/developer, there is lots of choice at the moment.

All in all a very positive journey......

All in all a very positive journey from finding the house to completing and moving in.
In particular, Tracy has been excellent in communicating with us through out, backed up by Liz and, if needed, Charlotte.
The guys on site are brilliant. When we moved in, we only had to ask for anything, skips for rubbish as an example, and they did it.
The house is really well built and the wiring / pipework is all logical and the build quality is very good. A few snags since we moved in and still to be resolved but nothing that is a worry.
I have had to contact the Care team a couple of times and it has been a mixed experience so far. I kind of hope that we will not need them but if we do they need to be a bit more customer orientated I think.
Buying a new build can be fraught but this wasn't a bad experience at all.

Fantastic service!

As a first time buyer Allison homes was very helpful from day one. They made everything less stressful and they were there for me when I had questions that needed answering. Tracey was fantastic along with Liz who kept me updated and informed all the time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the future 😊

Excellent service and journey

The whole process has been easy and efficient. Our home has a brilliant finish - we’ve already had many compliments from tradespeople, who have commented that it doesn’t have the typical new build drawbacks - our garden is large and there’s ample parking!
