Forfærdelig hjemmeside. Hvis man er nødsaget til at lave irriterende funktioner for at få folk til at bruge ens produkt. Så er det et Iorte produkt man tilbyder.

Don't use this site for cycle routes, there is an implication that it's works for cycle routes but you can find your self on footpaths half way round the circular which upsets walkers. Great for walker though

I love this app but I HATE the continuous effort to try and get you to pay out more money. Frequent pop up interventions that are so annoying. I’ve decided never to renew until it stops this awful practice.

Four weeks ago, after 5 years on All Trails, my hikes were showing erratic, sharp lines on the maps when a hike was ended. The distance recorded was also inaccurate. Now 4 weeks after contacting and communicating with All trails the issues remain without a fix. For a recent trip to Baxter State Park, I used free Gaia and was quite pleased with the app. The app wasn't woke like All Trails, didn't ask me a lot of nonsensical questions and let me record my hikes accurately. I was told by All Trails that the engineers were working to solve my problem. I am trying to cancel my recent Plus renewal with a refund, but I am not getting anywhere. Bye , Bye All Trails hello Gaia.

The app automatically uploaded private photos after an activity, even though I have my privacy settings so that Alltrails can not access my photos at all.

But that did not stop them from automatically uploading private photos, without my knowledge, after a tracked an activity. The photos that were uploaded, had nothing to do with the hike, even though the only photos that Alltrails say they upload were ones taken on the hike. Again, I never even gave them permission for that.

I signed up for AllTrails' money-back trial, but my experience was disappointing.

The app itself did not work well for me. On my hike, a text box overlaid the map, making it difficult to navigate, and the route tracing was inaccurate.

I canceled my membership after being charged $35.99 on June 25. On July 2, I received a refund of $35.99, but I was also charged another $35.99 the same day. I contacted the customer support chatbot multiple times about the billing issue. Each time I was told that a human support representative would email me within 48 hours. No one ever responded.

Software issues can happen, but what concerns me most is the lack of customer support. If you're considering the trial, keep a close eye on your billing and be aware that you may have difficulty reaching a human if something goes wrong.

Note added 9 hrs later: I posted similar info to Better Business Bureau which contacted AllTrails. My second payment was refunded to my credit card several hours later, for which I am grateful to AllTrails. They reported having a problem with my email address.

This is a useless (and as a result vey expensive) app. I wish I had read the reviews first

Alltrails are the only company that I know of that doesn't permit you to plot routes on their app even though you've paid for a subscription. When you try to plot a route it asks you to pay £70 for the pleasure. Fortunately yo can get your subscription refunded via the chatbot. But I suppose they make a pretty penny relying on people not asking for a refund or paying the extortionate upgrade. Really poor practice imo.

SCAM!! Took money after the trial period even though I had cancelled. I started a trial in safari and was then redirected to the app where it asked me to start a new trial. Naturally, I assumed the trial in safari failed and therefore only cancelled once.

They are refusing to refund me.

Jeg har købt abonnement, men synes, de har mange tekniske udfordringer, som google ai-tilstand oplyser er kendte fejl.

Fx hvis jeg vil tegne en rute, kan jeg ikke få den til at gå tilbage på noget af strækningen. Det er jo helt håbløst, da det ofte vil ske, hvis man ønsker starte og slutte samme sted.

Den fryser også, så når man fx har tegnet en rute, og så vil tilbage og se, hvad der ellers findes af ruter, så må man lukke siden ned, og starte op igen, for ellers kommer blot et helt hvidt vindue.

Og hvis man søger på danske områder, ender man ofte i USA. Det er dybt godnat.

Den burde have 5 stjerner, for er man ude at gå, så viser den ret nøjagtigt, hvor man er, og alle stier. Det er ret fantastisk. Men de tekniske udfordringer er ganske enkelt så mange og store, at det trækker gevaldigt ned.

Det betyder, at jeg vil bevare Alltrails og håber, at de får løst de tekniske udfordringer. Spørgsmålet er, om man tør stole på den, hvis man er på vandreture i udlandet.

Jeder Anbieter von Abos schafft es, eine Erinnerungsmail zu versenden, sobald eine Verlängerung bevorsteht. AllTrails nicht.
Außerdem wird es unmöglich gemacht über die App das Abo zu kündigen, was in 2026 einfach lächerlich ist.
Die Abmeldung des Abos MUSS zwangsläufig über den Browser geschehen.
An sich war ich im großen und ganzen nicht unzufrieden, aber das lässt halt sauer aufstoßen.

Please be careful with this application. They use very shady business practices to trick users into paid memberships. They offer a one-week free trial for the yearly plan and promise to notify you before the trial ends — but they don’t. They rely on people forgetting about it, so they can charge the full yearly fee. It’s a very common rip-off technique used by AllTrails, and many people have fallen into this trap. I am in contact with Apple to bring this to light

I have been a payed member of AllTrails for many years. Unfortunately, I noticed a continuous slow degradation of the experience throughout this time.
The main issue happened about a year ago, when a lot of pre-marked trails in their map disappeared. I know that some of them were not really accurate, or non-existent on the ground, but since they removed many of the pre-marked trails, it's hard to use the app.
Also, this might be subjective, but I found that most of the new feature that the app brought recently, just didn't apply to how I use the app.
In conclusion, I think that AllTrails is slowly caving to enshitification and I will reconsider my membership soon.

Scam. They promise to notify you before the trial ends (on the fifth day), but they don't do it. I tried the app, but a lot of trails were missing and I didn't like the app, but I was charged automatically.

I actually liked the app and actively used it as my go-to app when looking for walking recommendations, and I recommended it to family and friends. However, my account has now been blocked without warning, so I'm paying £36.00 a year for an app I can't use. I've tried to contact them to ask why and have not received any response to my many emails. After researching my problem online, I see it's a common issue so why hasn't it been sorted.My payment runs until October.
