I actually liked the app and actively used it as my go-to app when looking for walking recommendations, and I recommended it to family and friends. However, my account has now been blocked without warning, so I'm paying £36.00 a year for an app I can't use. I've tried to contact them to ask why and have not received any response to my many emails. After researching my problem online, I see it's a common issue so why hasn't it been sorted.My payment runs until October.

Stupid website. Every time you scroll to read something it prompts you to download the app then re routes you to the top of the page. So infuriating and for that reason I definitely won't be downloading the app.

Long sections of road walking on many suggested circular walks and there's no way to filter by "no roads".

It's also very expensive for what you get. Shame.

I find All Trails very useful for most countries I visit. However £35.99 in UK is extremely expensive particularly when this is more than twice as expensive as elsewhere. Pricing should be fair and clear, not this totally unfair pricing.

Die App war soweit gut bisher. Habe das Probeabo gelöst und erst jetzt in den Rezessionen gelesen, dass es anderen so ging wie mir: Probeabo mit versprechen einer Erinnerungsmail vor Ablauf. Habe keine Erinnerungsmail erhalten, Betrag für Jahresabo wurde einfach abgebucht. Schade. Wenigstens mit offenen Karten spielen braucht es schon für eine seriöse App

Utrolig dårlig app, som er meget svær at komme af med igen - uden at blive trukket for 1 år. Skulle ha kigget på trustpilot inden jeg betalte. Kan langt fra anbefales.

They used to be one of my go-to websites for basic trail info, but now it's entirely unusable because it won't let me scroll farther than about a paragraph before it tries to force me to download the app then pops me back to the top of the page when I decline. I'd be using the free version anyway and want to save the space on my device so pretty bummed I can't just use the website anymore.

Utter rubbish I subscribed £36 expecting some basic features but oh no you have to then upgrade to ‘peak’ for another £70+ so that basic subscription is now fully cancelled after using for a few hours as a subscription user. I will stick to using MAPS.ME which is far superior and free. I hope this doesn’t work out for you with the pricing as it has a proper ‘scam’ feel about it! AVOID

What's wrong with All Trails:
(1) Price. For ~£90/year is overpriced.
(2) The new AI custom map feature makes it impossible to make a custom map. Always creates unwanted stops, moving the end points or creating additional segments that you do not need.
(2) Map pans always to a different country or place. Never stays where you want it to be. Depending on your IP at that moment.
(3) Many "trails" are part of roads. So you need to go to Google Maps and check if there is an actual path or you will be walking next to speeding HGVs.
(4) Mapping is not clear. When the path is shown, there green line is so thick that you cannot see if you are walking on a main road or a footpath
(5) Trails are shown with a pop-up that always hides part of the trail.
(6) Multiple trails are superimposed making it impossible to determine which one is the trail you want to look at.

In general, AllTrails used to be good about 2-3 years ago. Now they keep adding bugs and features to justify the inflated price.

Alltrails lost all credibility since they changed the pricing system. For years it was possible to plan routes as a "Plus" member 36 EUR/year. Nowadays if you want to plan a route or customize an existing route you need to upgrade to "Peak" membership they ask more than double the "Plus" price. I just quit my membership and say ADIOS! Ohh > and I think it's a real f*ckup if your so called "Support Organization" is based on a sh*tty AI bot.

I wanted to see what it was like so signed up for a free trial. I didn't rate it so didn't use it. Now, without notice, I have been charged over £35 and told it is outside the 30 day refund policy date (even though I contacted them as soon as the money came out) so can't get my money back.

Ich hatte die alltrails App Plus Abbo.
Wir haben versucht auf der Baja California 2 Trails zu gehen.
1) Der Weg führte am Schluss ein kleines Stück (100m) durch einen Park. Der Wächter hat uns den Zugang verweigert. Man bräuchte ein Ticket zum Betreten. An diesem Weg gibt es aber keine Kasse, außerdem ist die Höchstgrenze an Besuchern schon erreicht. Wir mussten den gesamten Weg (2Std) wieder zurücklaufen.
2) Der Weg beginnt einfach. Am Schluss sollten wir laut Trailangaben den Weg verlassen und über Felsen klettern!!? Als wieder umdrehen und den gut sichtbaren Weg zurückgehen.
3) Das Abbo kündigen ist schwierig.
Antwort auf die Beschwerde, daß meine Kündigung nicht angenommen wurde:
"Falls Sie das Abonnement über die AllTrails-Website abgeschlossen haben, endet es automatisch am Ende der Laufzeit, und es sind keine weiteren Schritte erforderlich.
Sollten Sie dennoch eine Verlängerung bemerkt haben, empfehle ich, die Abonnementdetails in Ihrem Konto zu überprüfen oder sich an den jeweiligen App Store zu wenden, falls das Abonnement dort verwaltet wird."

!!!!! Die Gültigkeit der Kündigung wird von der Art der Aktivierung abhängig gemacht. Darauf wird aber erst auf Nachfrage hingewiesen !!!!!! Das ist nach deutschem Recht unzulässig !!!!!!

This app is a SCAM....False advertising with its free 7 day trial in which they will notify you in time to cancel ...and NO refund of your $

Just love this app. The filters, routes and reviews are brilliant. Love being the notifications of you’re off the route and the recap of elevation and mileage.

L’application est pas mal manque des données essentielles, comme par exemple , la visibilité de l’altitude , ce qui peut être un point important.
