Ordered an item of clothing, got wrong size. Second incorrect item received in our house within a week, it is inconvenient to have to return and annoying when not buyer's fault! looks like issues with Amazon.ie are ongoing.

Absolutely crap delivery compared to .UK site .
Actually the whole reason I buy from Amazon is the delivery is quick but the .ie option is like watching paint dry .and I'm absolutely hating it .
I actually think AliExpress could be as quick at this stage .

I wouldnt even leave 1 star due to their incompetency and how agents repeatedly lie about when to expect deliveries. I had one agent tell me to expect my delivery on Sunday and another on the phone admitting they dont actually deliver on Sundays. The expected delivery date is almost a week and then its delayed. This is my third delivery having given them the benefit of the doubt but not anymore. Orders from Shein would arrive quicker. Delivery service has really gone downhill. Not reliable at all.

Amazon Ireland is absolutely dreadful. Apart from barely anything available with the import charge, delivery manages to charge from a couple of days, to a week, to more than 2 weeks after ordering. What is the point? It’s bad enough that they won’t absorb the new import charge but an item on the UK site is still adding the charge despite items being shipped from Amazon EU Sarl. Then when you look at the same item on the .ie it adds the import charge anyway stating it’s from Amazon UK. Nothing short of pure greed

A complete waste of time, effort and money. I’ve cancelled my Amazon Prime membership. Its more expensive, has a much smaller selection, and many products are still shipped from the UK. Then you’re left dealing with import charges and taxes. Not worth the hassle.

Amazon Ireland....A Joke

Moved accounts from UK to Ireland.
First time I ever had a problem with my order. Incorrect items arrived, I returned items within hours of receiving (10 days ago) and to date I have heard nothing no update on my Amazon account page and no way to contact them.

Its one thing after another, it takes much longer for goods to arrive, and the overall selection of goods do not appear to be as good as UK.

I always used Amazon as my first stop for shopping. Definitley will not be doing so again.....

Amazon.ie is rubbish compared to almost any of the other Amazon branches. It would not be fit to lace the boots of the mighty Amazon.uk but unfortunately July 1st 2026 has now ruled that unviable. The people in charge or who run Amazon.ie should hang their heads in shame. But you got to ask...was a Paddy version of a major retail branch ever going to work either way...given the way we do things. Either way...it's rubbish. Delivery times are at best a guess , and at worst don't arrive at all. Stuff is almost the equivalent of the UK charges even with import tax. And the product selection is a joke at this stage.

It has some issues, and not as good as Amazon de, but for me as non-native, Amazon ie is a blessing, I can order from there almost everything and be sure I got it, I have a subscription, so delivery takes less than a week.

I do acknowledge some problems people mention, because I had same issues at very start of using Amazon, but so far I learnt how to deal with them more easiest and fastest way.

P.S. Do not buy audible promotion from Amazon ie, or else it will bug-out and may charge you twice.

Amazon Ireland is an absolute joke the last two items I ordered never arrived and everything else takes about a week to be delivered

I can't get 1 invoice from them, you can only talk to them via a chatbot and when you finally get to talk to someone, they seem incapable of taking on information, so I end up spending hours going around and around with no conclusion. NEVER AGAN AMAZON

Changed from UK to IE because of the import charges. UK used to deliver either the next day or 2 days max. Brilliant service with no issues. IE is taken over a week on any items I've bought so far. What is even the point of the IE Amazon! Absolute joke.

Amazon.ie is a terrible service always sending incorrect items that dont match the picture or the description off the products that you order. It's unfair that the EU have taxed goods outside EU i never had a problem with Amazon.uk orders.

I tried to buy a phone holder. Amazon claimed it had been delivred but it hasnt. They don’t make it simple to get in touch about this type of issue. I bought another this arrived. No credit on the first one. Disappointed with Amazon spending over a £1,000.00 a month. Maybe I should goto eBay for my stuff now

Ludicrous.
Every other item ordered is wrong in some form: either a substitution that is inferior, or something completely wrong. And no difference between "shipped by Amazon" or by 3rd party sellers. And I won't even get into pricing - and that many items are 20-40% more expensive than when purchased through Amazon UK or Germany. If Amazon Ireland were an actual brick and mortal store, it'd be closed down.

Come venditore online reputo questa piattaforma la più seria, con un'organizzazione quasi perfetta, unico punto in meno, ma non per colpa loro qualche corriere frettoloso, ma nell'insieme do 5 stelle, cliente da più di 10 anni e mai avuto, dopo migliaia di acquisti online, problemi con Amazon. The amazon driver in Cork delivered 80% of my packages by throwing it over the fence, delivering it at a wrong address, put it in a mailbox that is not active, left it at a "safe space" (read: 400 meters away from my door) and now my account has been deleted by them because "I violated the refund policy". LOL you can't make this up people. Because their drive can't do a proper delivery my account is being deleted. Well it's ok anyway, you should not support a filthy rich company owner who brownnoses a tyrant.

Product was good but considering the amount of packages being taken from outside peoples houses I was glad I was home..driver didn't knock ,just left package in the garden... proof of delivery photo wasn't even my house.. locked like it was in his van..
