Honestly if I could give zero stars i would. You pay more for items on the irish site and they take longer to get here. Much prefer tonorder from the uk site and pay the customs.

Took 7 days to dispatch my order and now 12 days later I still havent received it.
Customer service is unreachable,wont leave you past the bot and delivery date keeps getting extended.
Shockingly bad.

it is hard to find amazon.ie phone number or custom service to talk to them about a partner

I ordered a product on August 8th. Delivery date continually being pushed out. I tried to cancel the order after 3 weeks but was told order cannot be cancelled. Today September 8th my purchase is still at ordered stage and not dispatched yet still cannot cancel my order.

Amazon.ie supports scammers. I ordered RAM memory for 370 euro. The seller doubled the price and claimed it sent it and it was lost . I waited for 3 weeks and they refused to send it again and refunded me and invited me to buy again 300 euro more expensive. Amazon support did nothing to help me or to punish the seller .

Yesterday my account had 23 unauthorized transactions. Amazon promised to reverse the transactions and cancel the orders placed as they were aware the transactions were not made by me. In this 23 transactions there was a total of over €2000. This morning however they have dispatched goods on the unauthorised transactions having promised this would not happen and no refund has been issued. Amazon effected have aided financial scammers to commit theft. Remove you bank cards from their site before it happens to you

I recently switched from Amazon UK to Amazon Ireland, and so far, I have to say I’m really not impressed.

The selection of products available on Amazon.ie is much smaller, and delivery times are nowhere near as good. Items that would usually arrive within two days on Amazon UK often take considerably longer here.

I recently ordered an SD card reader to my office. They attempted delivery after the office had already closed, and I have now received another notification saying that delivery was attempted again today, even though it’s Saturday and the office is closed. After the first attempt my office opening hours were clearly entered, including the information that the office is closed on Saturdays.

This never happened when I was using Amazon UK. From my experience, their delivery system seemed much better at recognising business opening hours and making appropriate delivery attempts.

So far, my experience with Amazon Ireland has honestly been quite disappointing. I hope the service improves, because I’m certainly not interested in paying for Prime if I’m going to receive a much worse service than I was getting with Amazon UK.

I paid a premium price (added import charges and VAT) because the product was supposed to arrive quickly. But the amazon.ie deliverer invented an excuse to not deliver the package on the due date (couldn't find your door), opting to send a text instead of calling my number. Their number could not be responded to by text or phone and Amazon has no live (chat or email) customer service anymore. I added very specific delivery instructions. The next day the package was left in a "secure location" on a wet slop sink. No knock on my door (I was home), no leaving the package on the (dry) window sill as instructed if no one was home. The kicker here is that I could have received my package in the first place if the Amazon deliverer had made and earnest attempt to communicate with me. For customer service, Amazon.ie deserves a zero.

My order supposed be delivered today I call then talk with them online the track and the post office said " We haven't received AY058590473IE from the sender yet. If it's showing as delivered on your Amazon app it is likely a systems issue on their end. AY058590473IE hasn't arrived in Ireland yet" Im rush because I need the product for my daughter birthday everything they said it's wait and refund I don't want refund I need the product be delivered...

Gone to the dogs. Items that cannot be delivered to Ireland and the delivery lead times have gone to at least a week for anything. Very poor. Years and years of having used Amazon and now shopping elsewhere for availability, delivery time and price. Greedy company that has allowed its USPs to disappear.

Really poor. Very slow delivery.
Latest package not received although apparently delivered several days ago. Communication with seller received in French and cannot copy to translate as text locked to copy on Amazon site. Poor product choice. As a frequent Amazon purchaser, definitely not going to use Amazon Ireland again. Worse than bad.

No refund possible they can just take your money and get away with it. Happened multiple times but it does work most of the time out of 80+ items only 6 not arrived over the years scammed and never received a refund for €116 - €7 - €54 Amazon.ie & .co.uk and they can also lie saying an item is new but when it arrives it is missing something or open

Cancelling a prime membership shouldn't be so hard. You make it difficult and frustrating, the prime app takes you to the amazon app, the amazon app opens on the shopping page then the account tells you to use the browser, open the browser click amazon that re opens the app. I use another device and then the minefield of add ons or annuals plans.

I was looking for RiderNav R7M for my bike. Ot was €601 on Amazon.ie and almost half that price on Amazon.de. I have ordered from Amazon.de and will have it on Thursday 4th of Sept. How can such a price difference be justified. Irish people, use Amazon.de

I changed from Amazon Uk to IE and its honestly a bit of a joke. Paying for prime but delivery is generally much longer. I'm now buying elsewhere as much as I can. Amazon needs to commit to the same delivery service in every country. The range of goods available in Ireland is much lower as well.
Still waiting for items supposed to be delivered yesterday after waiting a week to get them. Now going to be a delay of 4 days with no explanation. What's the point!

TWO WEEKS FOR ANYTHING. i can order on uk and have it in a day or two max, how can it be THIS BAD?

I am a amazon.ie prime member i order stuff i needed urgent my parcel showed delivered but not at my place i cant phone them and on their bot support i was told to wait 7 days and then i will be refunded absolutely appalling service from amazon.ie drivers just drop parcels anywhere take a photo not even my propperty so why do I keep ordering for stuff that's never delivered and weeks later to be refunded

I ordered some small room cooler from Amazon , paid 47€ for it through my credit card. Later that day Amazon sent me an email that the seller has cancelled the other, however up till today the 47€ I paid was never returned back to me.
I will not purchase anything from amazon again!

Solar eclipse glasses were next day delivery paid, next day said it was too late so I cancelled in time and they still took my money and sent it to my door a day after the eclipse ruined my families day and when I returned it online they deducted me to send it back to them that's there fault not mine absolutely shocking no regards what so ever
