I emailed Jeff Bezos

I had to email Jeff Bezos yesterday (his email address was posted in the public) after I spent past two days called, emailed and chatted with 10 customer service agents without any help for my simple return issue (not first time happened). None of them either read nor helped or were willing to follow up. They either disappeared from chat after waiting 20 minutes each time, mislead by sending incorrect information, or never answered my question at all but instead kicked me around with an endless cycle of emails. Later, I contacted seller who was quickly refunded me and much easier to worked with.

This morning I received an email from an Amazon agent named Spencer who said he's responding on Jeff Bezos's behalf. It's just like a joke again, his email just proved he didn’t read the whole email I sent to Jeff Bezos either. He talked about the issue I did not ask and wrote false information said Amazon CS refunded me. He said they strive to provide a world-class customer experience from start to finish. What a joke! The truth is Amazon paid a bunch of 3rd world country's customer service agents who can not simply read or just treat customer like trash and can not fix a thing. eBay is 10 times better!

Received this mouse yesterday in the…

Received this mouse yesterday in the mail. Unboxed today and gave it a spin to only end up on chat with amazon support. Clearly stating that the wheel is broken, they asked me to reset the device and change the battery, trying to get to a fixed wheel.. I was advised I will get a refund but they do NOT BELIEVE YOU that it is actually broken.

After being unable to attend to the chat, I came to a new chat with Justine who had great difficulty in understanding what the previous agent and I discussed and ignored what was being discussed on chat - repeating the same preset response on her chat. After being passed on to a manager called Mary, who showed a terrible representation of Amazon customer service when compared to previous experience with the live chat support. Probing arguments on chat and replying sarcastically!!

Apart from also having to cover the shipping fees, for a customer all the way from the E.U!

Have been an Amazon customer since the beginning of their business. Every issue I have had, and there haven't been that many, has been resolved to my satisfaction. I love the speed of their service and the quality of products. An enthusiastic 5 star.

Amazon is pretty alright

Amazon is pretty alright, I'm still waiting on a refund for a cancelled order and its been 3 business days though. Amazon Logistics on the other hand is superb. I had multiple packages arrive earlier than expected and in good condition

ITS AMAZON

As the largest processing warehouse in the world, Taking such into consideration, Amazon has always filled my orders in a timely fashion and handled any disputes in my favor. There could be revisions to how their drivers deliver goods, but this is error in employees and not the business.

i have had several orders and for some apparent reason, they detected my account fraudulent just because I accessed and ordered from a different location/state. even if I have already done verification. my job requires so much traveling and shipments. and this is just so much work when it's supposed to be easy

A Woman Goes Online to Buy a Razor...

After a terrible customer service experience about 1.5 years ago, I stopped using Amazon. I’ve rented a couple of movies, but that’s it. My roommate constantly orders from them without much issue (excluding a book that took 3 months to get here), so I thought I’d try them again. Big big big big mistake.

Firstly, I had updated my card info months ago; it’s the same one they charge when I rented movies. I place an $80 something order and a week goes by without an update. Mind you, I had also updated my contact info to TEXT me updates, rather than email, as I hardly ever check my email. Well, they tried to run the wrong card, and then sent me one email saying my order hadn’t processed. One would think before accepting an order, the business would first make sure it was paid for, but I guess that’s crazy talk. Anyway, I cancelled that order. I re-updated my payment info and placed another order of about the same price; I changed some things. One of the things I ordered was a new double bladed safety blade razor. I read the description REPEATEDLY and it said this particular razor, a Viking Chieftan, came with one blade. For me, that is what I needed; I’m not about to pay an extra $10 for 100 blades, if I don’t even know if I’ll like the product. I get the razor, and there isn’t a blade. I looked everywhere. So, I decide to look up where to buy blades for these. I’m directed to Sally’s, but they were out of them. Great. I guess I get to return it. But hang on!! I didn’t know that you can’t print out and package a return for them to pick up, YOU have to play delivery person! YAY! Just what I wanted-a complete fiasco made out of a stupid razor. So, now, tomorrow I get to drive to the UPS store and return, what has now become, an albatross around my neck. Needless public trips during Covid; which is EXACTLY why I’ve been ordering things! I also left a bad review, which I updated today, and noticed my bad review hadn’t been posted, and the site refuses to post my update. I hope I get my refund, and I hope my bad review of this razor, doesn’t negatively affect the other order I placed lastnight; I have left several 5 star reviews of other items I’ve been happy with. But most of all, I wish a legitimate company didn’t make me feel like they’re going to spit in my food, because I was honest enough to leave a valid review of my experience. Amazon may say they care, but their actions show us a different story.

Too Perfect

In the past year, I have ordered about $3000 worth of merchandise from Amazon. Everything arrived quickly and in excellent condition. The one time I ordered something from an Amazon partner and it was just three days late, Amazon refunded my money instantly.

LOOK, the service is TOO good. They will put everyone else out of business, and then we will be at their mercy. Let's be more patient with smaller companies and individual sellers. We don't want a world run by one company.

Although I am allowed to share my Prime Account Benefits with my spouse, not all benefits are sharable: Like Prime Video download access. This is MY WIFE! Come On Bezos! Your the second richest man in the world...stop being such a jerk!

Amazon Firestick

I bought 2 Amazon Firesticks and neither one works like it's supposed to. I spend half my time trying to get the Alexa voice remote trying to work, and the other half resetting the Firesticks. Obviously they haven't worked all the bugs out of streaming because when I stream from my laptop, Hulu works fine. Recommend trying something different after spending $90 for these almost worthless devices.

There are pros and cons to using…

There are pros and cons to using Amazon, from corporate responsibility to just basic customer service.

They are experts in logistics and strive to do better by their customers, however, they fail to do more for their workers.

Totally useless customer service

I lost access to my email adress a few years back.
This never affected my kindle/amazon account.
I never even knew my kindle was using the old lost email address.
(you dont have to log on to your kindle)

Then, my old creditcard expired and I had to update my payment information for the kindle.
This can not be done unless you have access to the email address, which makes sense, I guess.

So I called customer service in order to get it straightened out.
After calling 3 times, even speaking to a manager, it is impossible to change my email address or/and creditcard.

I answered all questions correct to validate my identity, but I did not have the cards expiration date.
Why saves their expired credit cards?!?

I could not be helped and was told to just make a new account, I then asked what will happen to all my kindle books?, No answer.

On top of providing a bad service, the people was rude.

useless for chat

useless for chat. a so called customer service agent comes on the chat / pretends to help. then keeps asking you to hold on hold on. just a ploy to keep people connected while pretending to help. at the end oh i cannot help. 0 stars for BUSHRA. i will NOT renew prime and keep getting frustrated. cannot redeem gift card as amazon makes it impossible. i am out of there !

Amazon will take any chance to screw…

Amazon will take any chance to screw you out of money. I had a $10 credit used towards an order and they rejected the payment and I lost my credit. I canceled the items and reordered the exact same stuff with they exact same payment method and it went through no problem only difference was no credit.
