First, we’re sorry for the frustration with the sizing. Fedora blocks can vary slightly between styles, and we clearly missed the mark for you. That's on us. We’re constantly working to tighten our QC and keep sizing consistent, and feedback like yours helps us do that.
Regarding our manufacturing, we do produce over 100 styles here in the United States and have since 1972. We also work with long-term partner hat makers in Panama, Mexico, Bolivia, Sri Lanka, and China. These are workshops we’ve had relationships with for many years, and every hat — regardless of where it’s made — is held to the same specifications and sizing standards. What you experienced is not what we expect from any location, and we’ll be reviewing this with our production team.
As for the return experience, the system automatically offers two options:
• a return label with a reduced shipping fee, or
• a bonus credit for customers who prefer to exchange for something else.
It’s intended to give customers a choice, and we’re sorry it wasn’t a better fit for your situation.
