MEAN and unprofessional
Less than ONE MINUTE into my virtual appointment, the therapist loudly cut me off and said, "I don't handle trauma cases. You need to find someone else." Who does this?! She was so MEAN and unprofessional!!
The doctor wouldn't listen to me
The doctor wouldn't listen to me. I have a sinus infection. I've had them before so I knew that's what it was. The doctor insisted I needed ear drops and told me to see my doctor if that didn't help. How stupid is that! What a waste of my time and money!!!

I have a very bad experience with Dr
Bharati Narasimhan, she hand up the video call before we finish and she was very rude, they charged me the money and she don't even help me cause she finished the call, I never use Amwell again and I don't recomend it

I used amwell couple year ago , on that time was great , but not i tried to see the doctor , them said wait for couple minutes, and after 30 minutes they just cancelled, making lost my time and every time i filled up the forms , and after 30 minutes they cancelled , is no longer good this app , i choose wall greens online and was very easy and trusted professionals
What a joke
What a joke. I get sinus infections, so I know what they feel like. I’ve had them so bad that I couldn’t move without being sick. I was hoping to get antibiotics before that happened. But the doctor decided that it needs to get to that point before they can prescribe anything. And they charged my card 79 dollars 3 times. So now I need to call my credit card company and get that resolved. Now I’m going to the walk in clinic like I should have to begin with instead of wasting money on this.

I called and talked to a provider who said he would call in an antibiotic which he did not do. Waste of money and waste of time, they do not do what they say they will do. I will be contacting my insurance company and let them know that the company they sent me to is not taking care of patients.

It took me 4 tries to get a DR on the line. The 1st, I was on hold for 50 minutes, 2nd never called back, 3rd said she would place an order with my Pharmacy of choice (never did) and finally got a hold of one that was extremely helpful, ordered a rush on the medications and an hour later I had the meds in my hand. Many thanks to Dr. Arthur Rothstein. The other Dr's at Amwell need to get it together or leave the site.

My wife used this company for a telehealth visit and the advice they provided was contrary to medical literature and not compassionate. Care was pathetic. Will not be using them again. Upon calling customer service to resolve the issue, they refused to speak to me and left me on in silence.

I called 5 times one morning and scheduled 5 appointments. I never received a call from any physician but got a message each time that I'd missed my appointment. Don't waste your time!
Completely useless
Completely useless. Telemedicine seems cheap and it is relatively, but not when you can't get competent care. I got a 3 min phone call for a 2 week cold/cough and told to take OTC med I was already taken and a script for benzonatate for cough. When that did nothing, message to Dr went unanswered. I had asked for Prednisone considering this is not an uncommon event for me with persistent cough. He assured me that was next step. Right, so I eventually got Prednisone elsewhere and it did clear up. No thanks to useless telemed. I guess if I didn't care about oath or patients I would take $79 3 minute phone calls too.
I wish there was an option for negative 1 million stars. Super frustrating!
Horrible service
We waited for 1 hour only to have this lady get on and rudely tell us that my wife had to go through the process again. She hung the phone up on us before we could even respond. Please do not go to Amwell as they are the most unprofessional organization. Wow!
Borders on a scam
Borders on a scam. Opted for phone visit, waited over 2 hours trying to connect to a doctor (at one point, got a message just saying Dr. so-and-so is no longer available when I was first in the queue), then was told by the doctor that he could not diagnose over the phone and I should have chosen a video visit. No where is that indicated. There was not option to switch to video. So what's the point of a phone call at all? Paid $80 for absolutely nothing except a miserable waste of my time. Avoid at all costs.
The service of the Physician was lousy
The service of the Physician was lousy. My asthma had flared up, I needed a work excuse to be able to start my prednisone and get my asthma under control. I called Amwell 3 times to get assistance with the matter and that didn’t work. I ended up having to go to work with a hard time breathing.

Had a decent visit, I picked my doctor, she was good. Sent medication to my pharmacy.
No, RX after two days…
I filled out the paperwork for my visit as stated on their site. I like the provider that I video chatted with, as a visit went well, and I thought things were going to be accomplished during my urgent care visit. However, the prescription was not sent over to the pharmacy until the pharmacy had closed. I called customer service and ask them to change The pharmacy to a different pharmacy, since it didn’t get done in time before they close. It was getting late, but they assured me it would. I went to the pharmacy and waited up until the time the pharmacy closed and they did not receive it. Another day without a prescription. I called customer service back and told them that the prescription was Never sent over, and they assured me that it would be done. I now had to give them a third pharmacy number due to the fact that the pharmacy was closed on Sunday. I waited all day for my prescription and no prescription was sent over. Two days later, I’m calling back the pharmacy of the original prescription and they had it. So I had to wait for them to fill the prescription. The other two pharmacies I called never received a prescription at all! I’ve lost two days of care due to the fact that customer service did not pass on the message or I fell through the cracks. Either way, very frustrating care!
Then, if that wasn’t enough, I look at my bank statement and I was charged three for my visit! When I called customer service again, she said “Oh, it’ll fall off in a couple of days in the quote. I asked her what to do if it doesn’t and she said to call back. Like that gives me any reassurance at all. I advise everyone whether you like this company or not to check your bank statements to make sure that you weren’t charged twice. My company uses this for their employees as a discount however, through all the trouble that I’ve been Through I would almost rather go through a walk-in clinic. Be very leery.
