AngelSense is in clear violation of click-to-cancel laws. They let you sign up online. But they force you to call them to cancel. This is illegal in many states, in violation of FTC cancellation rules and predatory. To make it worse, you can't cancel online even via their customer support chat. They force you to call them to cancel, but let you sign up online. Do not do business with this company. There are better alternatives out there that will treat customers with respect. They will argue it is for 'security reasons' but won't take your authentication into their own web system. These people are thieves who prey on parents and make cancellation extremely difficult. Unacceptable. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

AngelSense has been such a blessing for my family. As a parent of a child who needs extra supervision, knowing I can keep track of my son’s location and safety gives me so much peace of mind. It helps me feel more secure when he’s away from me, and I truly appreciate having that extra layer of protection. I absolutely love AngelSense and would recommend it to any parent looking for reassurance and added safety for their child.

This device gives our family something that's hard to put a price on—peace of mind. The GPS updates are reliable, the notifications are useful, and the overall quality is excellent. If your child is prone to wandering, I would absolutely recommend AngelSense.

We purchased the AngelSense device when my son was starting pre-k and it has become a very important part of our lives. I’m so thankful to have a device like AngelSense and it gives me the biggest piece of mind while my son is at school and even out with other family members. I would recommend this to any mother but definitely for our children with autism ( or other special needs) as it serves as a second layer of protection for our kiddos who may not be able to voice for themselves . Overall 10/10 recommend I’ll continue to pay for this subscription till he no longer needs it!

I love Angelsense. My son doesn't leave home without it. I have a 5 year old nonverbal son and he is in Special Education in a public school. He goes half day but i had the worst separation anxiety for the longest. Anytime I left him there I cried. Having the device gave me an added sense of security. I also love the educational zoom webinars. It allows me to gear questions and gain insight from other users as well as learn about how to use certain features on the device

I originally purchased this device so I could know where my daughter is in case she elopes. Unfortunately, so far the tracking has not been accurate enough or updated quickly enough for me to feel safe relying on it.

We live on a large fenced property with a creek nearby. My daughter frequently finds ways to get down to the creek, which is already stressful enough. Several times, I have checked the app before searching for her, only for it to show that she was still at home when she was not.

That delay is not just frustrating, it is dangerous.

If she were to reach the road or head toward the highway, choosing the wrong direction based on inaccurate tracking could waste critical time. There are two routes from our property to the highway, and if the app tells me she is still home when she is actually moving, that creates a very real safety issue.

On the other hand, I have also received multiple false alerts. There have been several occasions where the app notified me that my daughter had left school. I would open the app and see her location showing nearly a kilometer away from the school grounds. To verify whether the alert was accurate, I had to use the one-way calling feature, only to hear that she was still safely in class or outside on the playground.

This is particularly concerning because her school is even closer to the highway than our home. If she were to elope unnoticed, it would take her less than a minute to reach the highway. Receiving inaccurate location alerts in situations like that is incredibly distressing.

The same thing happens at home. I will sometimes receive alerts saying she has left the property while she is still inside her room, yet when she is actually near or beyond a boundary, the app may still show her safely at home.

While writing this review, I experienced another extremely concerning incident. I could no longer see my daughter in the yard, so while trying to find her I opened the app to check her location. The app showed her down by the creek, yet I never received any boundary alert indicating she had left the property.

When I got to the creek, I still could not see her anywhere. I was calling her name and searching around the property while genuinely panicking because the app continued showing her at the creek. For a moment, I truly thought she may have fallen in and been carried away by the current.

She was thankfully okay, but situations like this are exactly why reliable tracking and accurate alerts matter so much. A device marketed toward vulnerable children should not create this level of uncertainty during an emergency.

That inconsistency makes it very difficult to trust the device in situations where accurate information matters most.

For nearly $90 a month, I expected significantly better performance and reliability.

Some major improvements I would love to see:
• Better location accuracy
• Satellite connectivity with an eSIM (similar to Rogers Satellite)
• Faster live updates with a manual refresh option
• Water and dust resistance
• Longer battery life
• A bracelet option

One feature I would especially love to see improved is the ability to create fully custom boundaries. Competing trackers like Tractive allow users to physically map boundaries along fence lines or property edges instead of relying on broad preset zones. For families in rural areas or properties with hazards nearby, that level of customization makes a huge difference.

Many families using these devices are already stretched thin financially. A nearly $90 monthly bill is difficult to justify, especially when competing trackers offer more features at a lower cost.

At this point, I have honestly considered switching to Tractive. Yes, they are marketed for pets, but their updates appear more frequent, the battery life is substantially better, the device is water and dust resistant, and the subscription cost is far more reasonable. My daughter does not need a smartwatch. She simply needs a reliable wearable tracker. A small bracelet-style device would honestly work better for our needs, and depending on the size of Tractive’s trackers, that may even be possible.

If I am being honest, I am more than disappointed with AngelSense. I wanted this device to give me peace of mind, but instead I often feel like I cannot fully trust the information it provides in situations where accuracy matters most.

#AngelSense is a great product for loved ones who wander. Our son is 8 and has Autism and is mostly nonverbal. It has so many great features like real time tracking, alarm for the device to find it or them, alerts for changed route feom usual route, you can call 1 or 2 way to listen in with 60 free Mina month which is always enough for what we need. Wish they had these when I was taking care of a loved with Alzheimers.

AngelSense has been such a huge help for my family. As a parent of a child with autism, safety is always my biggest concern, especially with wandering and communication challenges. AngelSense gives me real peace of mind knowing I can see where my child is and be alerted if they leave a safe place unexpectedly.

The live GPS tracking is accurate, and I really appreciate features like location alerts, assistive speakerphone, and the ability to check in when needed. It helps my child have a little more independence while still keeping safety first.

The customer service has also been kind and understanding, which means a lot when you’re navigating special needs parenting. AngelSense has truly made daily life less stressful for our family, and I would absolutely recommend it to other parents looking for extra security and support.

Really disapointed in this product and company. I hope that Angelsense would add some peace of mind after a family member sustained a brain injury and became unable to orientate. However, I found the unit to have such a short battery life, it was a constant chore having to charge it. I found it was also slow to update location - often showing a location 30/40 minutes old.
When I raised my feelings, Angelsense agreed to suspend taking payments to give me a chance to return the unit and cancel the agreement. However, they have continued to take payment and have not acknowledged that the unti has been returned. I am now in the positions where I have no unit (having returned it) and still being charged, despite being told I wouldn't be....
This was supposed to relieve anguish but rather has added to it. Really sad.

It has been an amazing addition to our family. It gives us a peace of mind to know my daughter is safe

Angelsense has given our family the freedom to go on adventures together. We no longer worry about what happens if our kids elope. Customer service has been really nice as well!

🔋 Battery life was good – during the first week it used more battery while learning routines, but afterwards it comfortably lasted a full day.
🧠 The smart features clearly stand out compared to cheaper trackers that only provide basic location tracking.
💬 Customer service was excellent – responsive and helpful.
📅 We used it for a year and were very happy with the performance.
💷 The only downside is the price – we couldn’t afford the renewal and switched to a cheaper brand.

A standout moment was at the playground; I set a Voice Reminder for dinner time, and for the first time, he followed the routine on his own and was ready to leave without a struggle. It’s more than a GPS; it’s an essential assistive technology that provides the 'audio anchor' he needs to stay safe and follow schedules.

Its a great concept until you realize that this will be used for human trafficking. The opportunity is too perfect for them to resist.

I’ve had my moments with AngelSense as I’m sure everyone has had. Overall I’m happy to have the added protection for my child. And we all should too.

When my wife and I first got the angel sense device, We had trouble using it. I called the customer service number where we were able to get help using the app. I have been able to use the device and have a peace of mind for my child. My son is 4 years old with autism & he recently started school. The device gave me ease just being able to call and know that everything was ok! | highly recommend the device.

You have to keep the device plugged in and charging when not in use because it can't be turned off manually which is inconvenient. The subscription monthly rate is extremely unrealistic and way too high. As parents of children with special needs we have enough money going out every month. Personally I would never recommend it to another parent. I would never purchase this myself but it was a Christmas present

AngelSense has allowed our daughter to experience a bit of freedom for the first time, riding her bike in neighborhood. It also brings an incredible sense of peace (which we have never experienced) when we attend holiday events.
