I enjoyed the content of this course. It was great to have an opportunity to continue to explore the topic of infant mental health and brain development and build on my existing knowledge. I particularly liked the resources which helped to break down some of the parent education aspects such as understanding baby’s emotions and infant behaviour which included strategies and techniques. I felt at times it was hard to engage in the course due to the large amount of reading and how I personally learn, so felt it could be more interactive/engaging. Overall the content was informative and I have learned from the course.

Highly recommend the Forest Bathing for Babies course. High quality content and resources. Simple layout and format. Easy to work your way through the units at your own pace. Brilliant balance of theory and practical information.

Although initially not what I had envisioned in terms of course content, I found the course extremely eye opening and informative. I am currently training as a doula and will be taking this learning with me into this new venture. Lizzie was a great speaker and gave insight in to make topics, including relevance of current affairs in the news.

This is the third course I have completed with antenatal training international and it did not disappoint! These courses provide fundamental, comprehensive knowledge and have helped me to feel more confident than ever on my mission to support parents.
I would recommend these courses to anyone who wants to make a difference in the antenatal/postnatal space.

An amazing course that is incredibly informative.
As a primary teacher by trade, I knew some aspects of the programme but it definitely allowed me to extend my knowledge base as well as think about child and infant development.

The course was very well structured with the reading materials, tasks to think about/reflect upon and the quiz was great to assess my knowledge.
I like the practical examples in the real world.

I particularly liked that it was a self study unit which I could complete as and when I had time.

Easy to navigate website. Able to complete the course at a time to suit myself, easy to pick up where left off and repeat modules if needed. Information displayed in clear, concise ways making it easy to learn!

I recently completed a short course with Antenatal Training Online and was genuinely blown away by how eye-opening it was. Despite being a concise course, it was packed with clear, evidence-based information that I could immediately apply. The content was easy to understand, engaging, and left me feeling inspired to implement everything iv learnt in my future classes

Had a few issues getting the emails but these were all promptly sorted. The course was a Comprehensive overview of perinatal mental health - and as a midwife there was stuff that I had long forgotten which was helpful to revise. Brilliant little course for topping up my CPD with

I completed the Perinatal Mental Health training. As a student midwife, the masterclass was so beneficial to my learning in understanding, gaining knowledge and ideas of practice around Perinatal Mental health. The trainer was brilliant in clearly explaining about behaviours, communication skills, working with women and families, the importance of the role of the midwife, the importance of providing a safe space for women to open up and trust the professionals and much, much more. All of which I am able to apply to my own practice and have a much clearer understanding of Perinatal Mental health.

I have just finished the hypnobirthing and mindfulness diploma with Antenatal Training International. I originally trained elsewhere but found it restrictive in how I taught.
The course was great. Easy to navigate, realy in depth with loads of resources and handouts. I learnt quite a bit more especially around brains suitability for hypnobirthing v mindfulness. Tutorials and suppirr were excellent in not just helping me be independent now but actually helping me design a whole new class offering and more income potential. Realy recommend this course and company.

Very interesting and inspiring learning a lot on how to become a maternity nurse and specialist educator.

This course was extremely insightful and easy to navigate. Not only did it have plenty of extended research and provided resources for extra learning, key points were formatted in downloadable tables, making it easy to reference. I highly recommend this course as it is very detailed, accurate and trustworthy.

I did the Advanced Diploma. Although it duplicated many of my previous trainings, I really liked the frameworks behind the teaching. It proved to be really in-depth and very different to what I'd done before. I can see what's going wrong with traditional antenatal classes now. I'm glad I did this because before I thought my classes were good (and so did my parents), but really, not so much!

I like the animations and the crosswords, just a different way to learn. There is a lot of tech inside the course. A few of the links didn't work, but Jeanette, the student support advisor, got these fixed fairly quickly.

What I also liked about the course was the professionalism and the way it was run. I had a welcome Zoom call with my tutor, which took me through the course and how to get the most out of it. I got stuck a few times, and Rebecca (one of the tutors) was happy to jump on a private call and help me.

The tutorials were communicated to you by an online calendar - if anything changed, you'd know immediately. One of the tutor's fathers died recently, which meant a few of the tutorials changed, so although it was a difficult circumstance, it meant we were kept in the loop. Much better than emails that you could easily miss.

I'm looking forward to the in-person workshops, especially the AI marketing one. The Advanced Diploma is a vast course, but I'm still not through it. I'm impressed by how they maintain such a big course and keep us up to date with things like AI, automation, and copywriting. It's really advanced stuff, and you can tell that Lizzie really is an expert.
She has won awards for her company, I'm not surprised!

I’m struggling to put into words how disappointed I am with Antenatal Training International. It’s only after completing further training elsewhere that I’ve realised just how much I missed out on. I do take some responsibility for not doing more research beforehand, the lack of reviews should have been a red flag, but I hope this one helps future students make the right choice.

If you’re looking to get into birth work, it’s likely because you are a deeply caring person. I urge you to invest your time and money with an organisation that reflects that same level of care. Sadly, ATI did not.

Throughout my training I received no meaningful support. Every piece of work and even the simplest questions required multiple chases before I got a response. Goalposts have continually shifted with little to no warning. I’ve spent hours completing work, only to find out, after I’ve chased an update or asked a question, that it was no longer required due to ‘changes’. The course materials were full of spelling mistakes, outdated information and inconsistencies.

Zoom sessions were repeatedly cancelled without notice or communication leaving me staring at a blank screen after arranging childcare. The “community” was non-existent, a silent Facebook group with only confusing, irrelevant posts from ATI. When I reached out directly to the owner to express my concerns, I never received a reply. For a course that places so much emphasis on feedback, reflection and continuous improvement, this felt deeply ironic.

There are far better places to begin your calling in birth work. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. My subsequent training has given me the knowledge, support and genuine community I was looking for and for that I am grateful. I only wish I could reclaim the time and money I wasted with ATI.
