I'd like to make people aware of this company and it's offerings, along with the poor service and unacceptable level of awareness of their processes in place. The company name is APPLYFT.CO, their parent company being GSMT CORP. Use extreme caution and be aware that they will scam you out of money.
I recently (Nov 6/25) signed up for a 4 week trial of there applyft.co AI training, of which I paid for the 4 week trial period. On Nov 10/25, I wrote their customer service to cancel my subscription as it wasn't for me and it wasn't beneficial to me. The initial offering came with 2 separate billings of $6.99 & $15.19 USD for the 4 week plan. No big deal, it was worth a try and I was only out $22.
I recently realized that after making the request to cancel my subscription, of which they had responded and noted that the we're sorry to hear I was cancelling my subscription, that in fact they did not cancel the subscription, and in turn charged me $80.97USD on Dec 6/25, and another $80.97USD ON Jan 6/26, of which I didn't realize until yesterday being Jan 6. I got in touch with their service department, and they failed to authorize any refund over the matter and have been very difficult to come to an agreement.
Their refund policy states that for cancelation, it. Must be done 24 hour before the monthly renewal date, which would have been Dec 6. I had cancelled my subscription on Nov 10, and they failed to cancel it, and I did not use the service at all after Nov 9/25. Thinking it had been cancelled until they continually withdrew the $80.97 USD subscription fee. And they are unwilling to refund this for the 2 separate occasions. Hoping they don't continue this process.
Please be very weary of this company, the services they offer and how you may get douped for money you're not willing to lose. Personally, I believe this company is a scam. I've went through the correct channels to escalade this matter, but we're not able to come to a conclusion and they are unwilling to refund me the money they charged my for the subscriptions, although I had cancelled the plan 26 days before the renewal date. Unacceptable in all fashions and their service department basically told me that I was my fault, although I had asked them to cancel my subscription.
Once again. Be cautious of this company and their offering.... TOTAL SCAM
