Purchased a car today from Approved Cars and the whole process was seamless from beginning to end. Peter was so professional and went out of his way to ensure everything was exactly what we asked for, even down to changing the colour of our wheels. After previous experiences with other garages, Peter has restored our faith and we would not hesitate to recommend him.

Purchased a car from this place absolutely fantastic customer service , very kind and helpful delivered it to my home address and it was exactly as described the whole experience was very easy and how car buying should be, even the after sales experience was top notch I would highly recommend to anybody

Bought a truck from here Friday and Geoff was our salesman , really professional from start to finish , couldn’t have been more helpful , we had a terrible experience with another garage but Geoff made it so easy , straight forward and stress free , all the work that was promised on the truck has been done (minor paintwork) quickly and kept us updated all the way through , highly recommend Geoff and his team … very happy customer

I received an expensive sports car from this company and some underlying issues cropped up a few days after driving the vehicle.
I contacted ‘Approved Cars’ and they quickly set about to rectify the problem by booking the car into the manufactures main dealer as opposed to letting their own in-house mechanics look at it. This says everything about these guys,..they consider their reputation importantly in an industry marred by poor customer service.
My point of contact was the owner Jay and his assistant Andy. I think they deserve a shout out for treating me so well.
Don’t listen to the haters on this platform, trust me when I say that you can buy with confidence from these guys.

We have just bought a van from Geoff at Approved Cars and finance and have to say we are extremely please with the fantastic service. There were a few body work issues with the van when it first came in but these were all dealt with before purchase and we are really pleased with condition of the van now and she drives beautifully. The finance and purchase of the van was very professionally handled and everything ran very smoothly. Would highly recommend to anyone and compared to other van sales in the area, they just really stood out.

Unfortunately I have had to change my Review. This is due to the after service received by myself from Approved Cars and Finance. The service I received was astronomically bad!

I bought a car from them for 10K nearly 8 weeks ago and they still haven't provided me with the V5. I have called and spoken to 2 different JAMES' (one being the director) and also the main culprit GEOFF. A total of 26 calls. Of which I have 21 of those calls recorded and have submitted those calls to the AA complaints team (The AA recommend this garage)

I am currently unable to Tax / Insure and subsequently Drive the car I purchased 8 weeks ago, because I am not the legal owner.

My favourite excuses given to me by Geoff was "It is only a few points and a fine if you are caught driving without Tax, its not the end of the world"

Each of the 21 times I have spoken to a representative the call ends with "Wayne I'll get this done and call you back in 1 hour". I have never received a response from James or Geoff.

I have had to go through the AA complaints procedure and have the DVLA re issue the V5 to myself. I will update this review with how I get on with that.

My advice is DO NOT USE this garage if you are expecting them to live up to the promises out lined by their AA accreditation.

If you want a "fly by night" type of Garage who make promises they have no intention of keeping then these are your guys.

I paid a deposit of £250 to view a hyundai i40 on the 3rd of November.
I had to cancel the viewing due to lockdown.
I asked for a refund immediately the next day.
The sales team kept on saying there is no one from accounts in the office.
They asked me to fill a request form which I did.
When I called to chase it up ,they said they could see my email but not the request which was a lie.
They kept lying about processing the refund but this never came through.
Its been more than 6 weeks and no one has refunded my deposit
Never pay any money to this company.
They are not honest or professional and as a business organisation this is a very cheap way to steal money from clients.
Kindly stay away from this company

I would urge anyone considering dealing with this company to reconsider. Having viewed a used Isuzu D-Max on their website. I followed up with several telephone conversations and left a refundable holding deposit. The company were to repair some cosmetic damage to bodywork and interior and following assurances that this had been done,after around a week and that the vehicle was as described in their advert' in 'immaculate' condition.I traveled from Scotland to East Peckham to view and pay for the said vehicle. Upon arrival,I was shown the vehicle by the individual,I had spoken with several times,SHAUN. The areas to have been repaired had not been and rather than finding a vehicle in the described 'immaculate' condition, I found one that had had a 'hard life'. I asked for the return of my deposit and was promised that it would be returned immediately to my bank account. It took over several weeks,multiple 'phone calls and a small claims court application for this to happen. The company and in particular the individual I dealt with SHAUN are untrustworthy and a pack of liars. I can not believe that they are allowed to continue in business. STEER WELL CLEAR>
