AQUA OPTIMA AURORA. Initially I thought it was great, even with the huge cost outlay.
It was good whilst my wife was unable to lift a kettle. She only had to make a cup of tea or coffee.
Now I am fed up with DESCALING every two weeks. I filter my water before putting it in the machine to be filtered again but still end up having to descale every couple of weeks.
I have upgraded my review from one Star, due to the customer service being excellent. I contacted them yesterday, they replied today with the offer of a completely new machine.
Their response has been far better than I ever expected.

Purchased an Aurora AUR001 hot & cold water dispenser back in May 2022. October 2022 something went wrong with it and it was causing our electricity to trip. Contacted customer services via the website. The following morning I had a reply asking for proof of purchase etc. 2 days later, a replacement has been delivered. Excellent customer service, will definitely buy from again in future!

I purchased my AUR001 Hot & Cold Filter Water Machine in Jan-22.

Throughout its use, the descale icon will illuminate where you have to follow a process to descale the machine. This would involve you standing and filling up the machine continually until the descaler icon is no longer illuminated. This has usually taken me 40mins to 1 hr to stand there and fill the machine up. I did not expect that when I purchased the machine. I think Aqua Optima must have know this, hence not writing in the instructions how long it takes!!

My frustration today, is that I have had to stand for 3 hours plus continually filling machine, not very good use of my time, especially that I have to work, and I did not expect this at all. No override facility. Very frustrating.

I have put a call through to Aqua Optima Office in the Isle of Man, lines open till 2pm, only to find that no one is in the office to help me. Not good Customer Service at all.

For a machine that is not cheap, and is only 9 months old, this is not what I expected for this product.

Let's see when Aqua Optima says when I hope they call me back soon to advise what can be done in the future to stop this reoccurring. I am for descaling machines frequently, that do not take too long to do, but we need some improvements to be done for this product.

I DO NOT WANT TO STAND FOR 3+ HRS AT A TIME FILLING A MACHINE UNTIL IT DECIDES TO STOP.

Purchased water filter jug from this company via Amazon but unfortunately damaged the inner "hopper" shortly after receipt.

E-mailed the company and received rapid response fron Shelley who provided a replacement free of charge. Excellent level of customer service and the product is pretty good too! Highly recommended.

I’ve had some boilers in all my life and kettles, but this beach them all by far, this Acura Optima is something unique I just leave it on a user is very little electric being left on and you have instant hot water 24 hours a day.
Who ever designed this in the engineering department needs a medal because it’s something out of this world it’s fantastic.
