Shocking service

Shocking service , advertised as 24 hour service , partner had work done almost 3 weeks ago & was told by engineer would return to complete the work after paying £1700, never hear anything them again ! This evening realised there’s a leak caused by the work carried out them , had to drain the water tank turn off the heating , which is not ideal , right now , telephoned several times to be told they are now closed until Monday morning!! No answering machine , seriously 24 hour !!!!! Definitely not

Third year of services to boiler and fire

This is the third year having our boiler and fire services carried out by Aquila and each time the engineers were on time, respectful of our home, professional and friendly. The appointments are easy to book with the office staff being very helpful. We would definitely recommend this company and will have the services carried out by them again next year too.

Oil Boiler Service

A friendly efficient engineer carried out the service of our oil boiler quickly and with no fuss. The engineer was also punctual.

Poor comms and poor repair over 2 years

Having had a bad experience 2 years ago, which was eventually fixed (almost)...and very intermittent fault remained.
Finally, the fault got much worse and while I got them back in. It's more involved than you want to read, but they didn't keep the notes from the 1st mess and are not minded to be helpful now

We are sorry to hear that you feel the service you received was unsatisfactory. However, we feel it is important to clarify the timeline and circumstances surrounding the works carried out.

The original toilet repair was completed approximately 2 years and 8 months ago and no issues were reported subsequently.
We actually didn’t charge for the part installed then, it was a goodwill gesture.
Since that repair, we have attended the property on two separate occasions for unrelated works, during which no concerns were raised regarding the toilet.
In December, we also repaired the soil pipe serving the same toilet, again with no indication of any problem linked to the earlier repair.

During your most recent call, the issue was reported as a leaking toilet that we had previously worked on. On that basis, and as a precaution, we arranged for an engineer to attend promptly to isolate the supply and prevent any potential damage.

Upon inspection, it was confirmed that the component we fitted nearly three years ago was not faulty. The leak was caused by a separate and unrelated issue.

Given the age of the original repair, and the fact that the part was not defective, it would not be reasonable to expect this work to be covered under any form of guarantee. The issue identified on this visit therefore constituted a new repair.

We were also disappointed to receive a one-star review relating to this matter, particularly as it concerns a different issue from the original work and one for which payment is now being disputed. As acknowledged in your correspondence, this issue had not been raised with us previously.

We always aim to provide a prompt and professional service, and we believe this is reflected in how quickly we responded to your recent call. If there had been any dissatisfaction with the original repair, we would of course have expected it to be raised at the time or during one of the subsequent visits.

We hope the above clarifies the situation and our position.

Very good communication, with a person on the end of the phone. The gentleman who looked at the boilers was very professional and informative.
