Archimake workshops and courses are ideal for young people who love drawing, being creative, making, and solving problems. We help young people develop creative skills and learn about the built environment and design through STEM. Drawing, model making and presentations are the skills developed to show creative and logical problem solving skills. We are accredited to award Level 1, 2 & 3 national qualifications (equivalent to GCSE and AS level). Courses run from 10 weeks to 2 years. At the end of each term children present their projects at the Project Review Event and receive feedback from leading industry professionals. Children are awarded a certificate of completion at the end of each term completed.

Superb Archimake STEM Design and Architecture
My 7 year old son participated in the week long summer course. It was the most amazing and educational experience. Even though the course was only a week long he learned design and creative skills including an introduction to the use of AI in design and architecture using the current International Olympics stadiums as topics. He also learned presentation skills and had been supported enough to give a presentation showcasing his work for the week.
The Archimake staff are highly qualified and know how to get the best out of the children.
I cannot recommend this lovely course which is held in a beautiful venue in Central London.

A really detailed and thorough workshop, our daughter really enjoyed learning the more technical language and styles of drawing. She was really happy with her final model and AI designs!

Archimake is doing fantastic work in fostering early career design insight, necessary to tackle some of todays challenges!
Archimake is doing fantastic work in creating supportive and encouraging environments for people interested in understanding design from an early age. The emphasis on inclusion and designing for neighbourhood safety was great to see. The next generation confidently explained their proposal ideas and learned key aspects of communication. Keep it up!

Excellent Architecture Work Experience
My daughter completed a brilliant week's work experience with one of London's leading Architecture Studios. She learnt fine model making skills, was stretched with a 3D problem solving brief and asked to create ideas for a challenging design brief which she solved and presented back to the whole studio at the end of the week to very positive feedback. My daughter very much enjoyed the experience, the Studio were very supportive and nice, and she got a taste of a live working studio. Thank you Archimake!

Pros and cons
My daughter enjoyed the course. She enjoyed learning in teams and the work they created as individuals. The work that came out from all the children was great to see. As a parent we did find the admin and organisational side lacking. We are interested in further courses but hope this improves.

Our primary goal is to provide Quality Education to young people in the field of STEM, architecture & design and we are very glad to hear your child enjoyed our course and you were impressed by the standard of the work the group as a whole achieved. As demonstrated, our focus is primarily on your child having the best education experience possible as this will lead toward meeting our other impact goals which are; Inclusivity and Diversity, Community Engagement, Sustainable Design Education, Empowerment and Leadership, Creativity and Innovation, Career Pathways, Social Impact Projects, Long Term Alumni Success and Parent and Guardian Involvement. Parent feedback is hugely important to us as your involvement helps both your childs progress in our course and helps us to know if we are achieving our primary goal of Quality Education. In order to provide an affordable and accessible course for equality purposes we aim to keep costs down and therefore have a very limited amount of resources allocated to non teaching activities. Despite our limited resources we are pleased we are able to meet a broad range of parent and child needs by now offering workshops at 3 different times of day both in person and online, which is effectively going from 1 in person workshop to 6 workshops, in order to accommodate families busy schedules and travel needs. When requested to provide an alternative variation of our 6 workshops available it is challenging to do so effectively in light of our limited resources, yet we do try to be amenable, and hope parents appreciate this. Unfortunately in this case due to variations in attendance format it did not result in the smoothest experience due to this not being one of our standard courses offered. In future we will make parents aware at the outset of requesting a variation in attendance format that this may result in the need for an increased amount of parent input to support their child in how to store and file paper drawings and digital copies alike, so they can be easily located by their child at the end of the course, as is required of all our online only attendees. We very much look forward to seeing your child again next term as tutors and Guest Reviewers were very impressed with the work produced and progress made.
