I've known Rene as one of the visionaries behind the XR era back in 2015, so I was observing the transformation of Artizen through the early stages. Being part of the last seasons helped me to actually see how the system is built and how fundraising is sort of gamified to motivate creators to work with their audiences and fan base/donors by giving a chance to get a bigger piece of the prize fund or matching funds. That's exactly the system we need to motivate ourselves to push more, as Artizen gives us possibilities, but we still have to make our work right and have responsibility for our own projects, not waiting that someone would suddenly donate out of blue.

My experience with Artizen has been incredibly rewarding. Through their platform, my project “Little Men, Big Dreams – Bloom” received not only financial support but also meaningful recognition for the work we are doing to nurture the dreams, talents and potential of boys who are often overlooked.

What stood out to me was how Artizen treats creators and their stories. The process felt human, transparent and genuinely focused on supporting meaningful creative work. From the funding process to the communication and follow-up, I felt that the team truly cared about the impact behind the project.

Receiving my Season 6 payout was a major milestone for me, but beyond the financial support, what means even more is knowing that Artizen helped amplify a project that is deeply personal and important to the communities we serve.

In my case, I’m funding a music album. The money I raise - supported by sales, match funds, and weekly prizes—is paid out in real US dollars to my bank at the end of a season. A season lasts 6 months, and you can join anytime - at the beginning, middle or end of the season.

And the creator, René Pinell, said to me: “Artizen is my life’s work. We’ve already paid out millions, and I’m not going anywhere. The whole point is to help fund your album.”

I had no idea what I was getting into when I joined Artizen.All I knew was that the person who introduced me was having the most incredible results. When you hear stories like that, especially if you've done crowdfunding before, it is easy to be skeptical.

I had done a crowdfunding campaign in the past. I poured so much energy into it, rallied my community, exhausted myself, and in the end I did not even get to keep the money I had raised because I did not hit my goal. That experience was incredibly frustrating. It felt like everything rested on my shoulders.

Artizen has created a completely different experience.

Yes, you are still inviting your community to support your project, but you are not doing it alone. They have created multiple ways for creators to receive funding through match funding, endowments, quests, boosts, weekly opportunities, and creative challenges. It feels like there is always another way to participate and another opportunity to move your project forward.

Some people may look at the weekly competitions and think that is what Artizen is all about. I don't see it that way. To me, the gamification is simply another opportunity. It is a bonus. The bigger picture is that the team is constantly looking for new ways to create more opportunities for more creators to get funded. That mindset feels very different.

I will also admit that as the season came to an end, there was still a little voice inside me wondering if the money was actually going to land in my bank account. When something feels this innovative, I think it is natural to wonder.

It did.

The money arrived exactly as promised. The payout process was handled thoughtfully and securely, and that built a tremendous amount of trust for me.

What has impressed me just as much as the platform is the team behind it.

They genuinely care about the people they are serving. They listen to feedback, ask thoughtful questions, and are willing to change course when they believe something can be better. I have watched them build in real time with transparency, humility, and a genuine desire to create more opportunities for creators to get funded. That gives me tremendous confidence because it feels like they are building this with the community instead of simply building it for the community.

The community itself has been one of the biggest surprises.

Artizen is not just creating a place to raise money. They are intentionally creating opportunities for creators and fund directors to know one another through events, residencies, retreats, and shared experiences. That commitment to community feels incredibly special. I am really looking forward to attending one of those gatherings, deepening the relationships I have already started, and creating alongside people who genuinely want to see one another succeed.

When you first join Artizen, I will be honest, it can feel a little confusing because there is so much happening. My advice is to stick with it. Ask questions. Meet people. Get involved. The community is incredibly generous, and once everything starts to click, you begin to understand what makes this platform so special.

I honestly do not think we have seen the best of Artizen yet. I believe it is only going to get better because the leadership is deeply committed to the mission. They genuinely want more creators to have a real chance to get funded. They welcome feedback, they keep learning, and they continue to evolve every season.

I am incredibly grateful that I found Artizen, a creative fundraising platform. I am even more grateful that I get to witness what they are building. Most of all, I am grateful they are creating a place where more creators have a real opportunity to bring meaningful projects into the world.

Artizen is awesome! The company has great leadership and has been instrumental in helping me actualize my artistic vision for my upcoming live musical. I cannot recommend them enough.

Artizen was recommended to me by a friend, otherwise I might have been a little more hesitant about it. I am making a documentary film and it's never easy getting these types of projects funded. Artizen took me a little while to understand but once I did and was able to figure out the best ways to play the "game", I was able to raise a significant amount of money, over 80k. Amazing fund raising platform, I joined late for season 6 and still raise some money to help fund Hiphop Africa project, and we are still raining in season 7. it might not be for everyone but its definitely for some creatives to find ways to raise funds.

All the energy I have put into this project has been reflected back to me several times fold. I know this sounds superlative, but it really is not. Investigate and follow the platform.. and if you are a creator, consider applying with some of your own projects. You will not regret it.

The Gaia Sound Temple has been on Artizen since season 3. Already four seasons of fundraising in and I am being able to share the Temple in multiple locations as sound healing concerts, building a website of the recorded sound library of biospheric sounds and making waves of awareness of connecting humanity to the Earth through conscious listening. The payouts usually come 2-4 weeks after season ends. Artizen breaks the mold and creates possibility for many creators to enhance human evolution with their original ideas.

The platform has some amazing creators from all around the world, the support from Rene(Founder) is highly commendable, they respond quickly to complaints from projects and the platform has a playbook and Venus (AI chat bot) that helps you understand how the ecosystem works.

I am an artist with some out there ideas and fundraising on this platform has shifted what is possible. I went from having an idea to do a wild opera about our relationship with technology, to creating a nine city 3 month tour with this performance piece. I raised 100k on Artizen and received the payout. I am collaborating with a number of other creators of projects on the platform as well. When I read the one one star review I’m certain that person did not actually engage with this very alive community. We meet twice a week, and have had multiple in person Artizen Houses at Art Basel Miami, SXSW, etc… to create together, showcase our work and receive feedback about what works and needs more support in our projects. I could go on and on, but the reality is this platform supports Creators creating.

very easy to onboard and use both as a creator and as a donator. promotes and gives exposure to great projects that wouldn’t have a chance otherwise. artizen helps people make their dreams come true! it’s all about believing in people and pushing them forward. i love the concept and the experience!

(I'm a Nonprofit Director in Seattle, 20 years at this company and 25 years in the arts/music industry). I just got my pay out for Season 5 for sound baths and research today!
Honestly, I was a little skeptical at first when I heard about Artizen, but also excited to find new ways to fund artists and new projects.
The fund concept was great but I wasn't sure about the long timeframe for payout. They've since changed that to a shorter set time which is great for Season 6. When I started Season 5 funding, it seemed a little too good to be true... but also quite close to a Kickstarter or Gofundme... with all the boosts and 2-3x that meant one of my donors gives 500 and it's suddenly 1000 or 1500. So both to reassure myself and to help my donors feel more comfortable, I contacted a few other projects and they shared good reviews and confirmation of payout as well. I've also spoken on video calls with Rene and been on group chats and team meetings with other creators from around the world. I've not found any complaints online or heard of any problems from creators to date.

Now that I've gotten my Season 5 payout, I'm all in!

Rene (Founder) has also been amazing to work with, and is such a big support of artists and creatives. I'm amazed how fast he replies to things, and also seems to take some vacation breaks. He even launched this self care system now for people to get wellness benefits to help them be more sustainable in their work. That's pretty unusual in the corporate world for sure.

This whole model seems strange at first, but as it grows it starts to make more sense. Highly recommend now!
