UPDATE: After 3 months and much effort against an unresponsive company in Delaware, I recieved an email from TrustPilot allowing me to update my review status. I am not sure if they persue a response from ASE or not? We will see... STAY AWAY FROM ASE! COMPLETE RIP OFF OF $2500
This company is a serious SCAM
This company is a serious SCAM. I purchased the vehicle Warranty June of 2022 upfront with full payment of $1900.00. Approximately 1 to 2 months later I called to cancel and was instructed to do the mileage thing and get Notarized letter. Mailed letter, when called to check the status they (Tatiana) stated they never received letter and to wait a few weeks so they could contact the mail room. Called for months and just got a bunch of BS stories. Now May of 2023 still dealing with Tatiana she tells me to get a new Notarized letter and that its my fault and should of mailed the letter again sooner (speaking very rude), then hangs up on me. Start calling and trying to reach anybody else, reach Marcus the original salesperson and he transfers me to supervisor William Porter. William instructs me to email him my Notarized letter and he would start the refund process. Of course, months later still no check and call William back… he states he is going to put a force through for the refund. Calling and calling….Maria now is stating the check was mailed out… wait for check…no check. Call Maria back and now we have to wait for the investigation before another check can be issued and you know the rest.
After numerous calls until this day, still no refund. These people need to be reported to someone and we need to file a Civil Lawsuit

Beware of doing business with this company. I payed upfront for both my cars. In September 2023, I requested a refund. It has been six months now still waiting on a reimbursement check. I was told they never received my notarized letter and pictures of the odometer. Therefore, I emailed the documents. Then I was told they could not work off a copy of the notarized copy, that they needed the original copy. So, I sent new notarized documents. Then, I was told the person that signed for the Notarized documents (Catelin Wilson) works at the front desk, but does not work for ASE. On another call, I was told they received everything, and it was sent to investigations for review. Now, I am told that they do not have my documents and I need to resend them a new notarized letter, because the one they have is to old. (Confirmation that they did receive my documents). You can’t speak to a manager or supervisor only customer service. I’ve emailed and left plenty of messages. I wish I would have read these reviews before I gave these people my money. I would be interested in joining the civil lawsuit. I need to be refunded my money!

The contact information URL is bogus. You can only phone or use the postal service. This is feeling like a scam. If I don't receive any communication I'll file a complaint with the State Attorney General.
Class Action on the way! BUYER BEWARE
I purchased a warranty over a year ago and cancelled it almost a year ago. I jumped through all the hoops regarding the cancellation process and had to contact them again to ensure they received it because verification and follow up isn't something they do. I sent a certified and notarized cancellation notice as they requested, and I followed up often only for them to tell me in July it went to the wrong office, and they just received it. The manager acted as if she was doing me a favor by resending the cancellation form and approving it after they didn't check their mail for 6 months. I had to submit another cancellation form online that day and was told they'd send my refund 30 days later.
Come the 30 days I'm told it requires another approval for the check to be released and from there the check will be mailed out in 60 business days BUT checks are only mailed out once a month on the last Friday of the month. At the same time Denise and Tatiana have both told me accounting/finance doesn't work on Fridays, they don't speak to customers, and no one follows up on notes left on accounts for resolution unless the customer calls. Accounting also leaves at 4 during the week and start times vary, so when and how are the checks being cut?!
To this day I've yet to receive my refund. No manager is ever available, yet I have proof of both times I submitted their online cancellation and an email from Paula Relic stating it was received.
Since they've taken up so much of my time and continue to fail at providing me a refund. I'll be starting a class action lawsuit with everyone that's left a review here and anywhere else I can find because there's clearly a pattern. I'll be contacting my attorney general and the one in Delaware next week.
The time contacting them isn't worth it. I'll update my review or add another with contact details regarding the class action suit.

plz plz think twice on purchasing this warranty for your vehicle, i bought the warranty for five years sold vehicle in less than a year, i requested a refund for the balance since October of last year 2023 did everything they requested and still have not received my refund, their customer service is terrible, they have lost two notorized documents that i have sent, and the lady’s excuse is that she does not work at the mail room, as of today i will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau and let them handle the situation, i am sick and tired of dealing with this people!

This place is horrible. I payed upfront for both my cars. It has been four months now still waiting on a reimbursement check. After they mailed the first check to a totally different state. Even though they have my current address. Then there’s an investigation. For what you guys mailed it to the wrong address. Then no check the second and now third time. You can’t speak to a manager or supervisor only customer service. I’ve emailed and left plenty of messages. I haven’t gotten any response. I wish I would have read these reviews before I gave these people my money.

Don't get scammed. They are the worst. I paid $1,250 up front for a 5 year plan. They promise hassle free claims process, thats BS they have no intentions on covering any major expense ASE Protection is a deceitful and fraudulent business. their rude and bullying tactics are outrageous. I took my car in to the repair shop 4/12/23 cuz the air conditioning stop working. The mechanic said it needed a to be replaced and found 2 other problems, and submitted the claim totaling $4,100. For months my car at the mechanics shop waiting for ASE protection to approve it. Months go by they deny the claim with no reason and told me they give $500 once I paid the repairs in full and sent them a copy of the paid invoice. So, I was stuck with no recourse did exactly that. Now it's 9/14/23. Still can't get anyone to on the phone or to call me back. Still trying as of 11/7/23.
Anyone want to start a Class action against ASE? FRAUD ALERT
The max hourly rate they pay is $125 per hour. Good Luck finding a Factory Dealer that charges that Rate. The Parts CANNOT be OEM. They will only replace it with the lowest priced aftermarket parts. They do not cover the sales tax on repairs. They count the first hour of repair work as diagnostic and they do not cover diagnostics. And if you make it through all of those hurdles they only issue payments on the last Friday of each month. That means you will be waiting a long time to get reimbursed. If you try to get someone on the phone to help it is impossible to get a supervisor. If you want to purchase a new policy they pick up on the first ring. This company needs to be investigated and shut down. I am making it a personal mission to gather enough people to seek a class action law suit against ASE. They deserve one.

Scam!!!! Don’t waste your money. 30 day moneyback guarantee is a lie!!! Yeah After getting cold feet I tried canceling my extended car warranty with ASE protection on day two. I made three phone calls speaking to three agents letting them know I wanted to cancel each time. I could hear them typing away on their keyboard, but I never received the email to cancel. The next day I called the agent again and again, she said, look for an email to cancel, which I never received. I finally called the agent that I purchased the warranty through and after speaking with him, I did receive the email to cancel. However, he did not give me the full directions, which are, not only to fill out the paper to cancel online, but to send in a notarized letter of cancellation and request for a refund. Once I found out this was necessary I did that. Somehow they did not receive that first notarized letter, but finally received my second notarized letter since I had it certified. However, although they received my certified letter, they did not upload it into the system for about three weeks. When I spoke to an agent again concerning my refund, she said that the documentation was uploaded and I should receive the refund within 60 business days of that time. We are now 20 days past that time, and I still have yet to receive a refund. Calling the company does not help because you will only speak to the answering phone agent. There are no managers, supervisors, or any higher-ups that you can ever speak to or contact. I believe at this time I may have to contact small claims court or a lawyer to get my refund back so please do not give your money to this company. It is a complete scam! 6 months later and no refund!

RIP OFF!! Spent $1200 and the first time I needed help they asked to see my car history. Why didn't they ask when I sign the contract. Besides that my engine light was not related to any previous issues. Even the car dealer said that. NOW I'm struggling to get my refund since I know they are not covering anything from now on. They asked me for a bunch of paperwork, pictures, affidavit and not only that, now I have to wait for a 14 days Covid whatever rule plus 60 days for revision. After canceling the policy and sending the cancelation paperwork not once but twice, they don't pick up the phone. I have sent it a third letter and this time I sent it Certified with a signature. That way I know they have received it, The next step is to file a civil suit. I am almost positive they will close down and re-brand to a different name.

Been seeking payment as a repair shop since January 31. No one is helpful, they claim to have sent 4 checks that all got lost. They refuse to let you speak to anyone in accounting and when questioned, they just hang up on you. AWFUL!

I won't give them a star , this is the worst company to deal with !! I took me BMW in air not working , the auto shop had a hard time with them , had to replace the whole system. The compressor was 1300 cost the wanted to give them 545.00 for the part which is a China part that my mechanic said he would not put in the car do they don't last. I also needed a condenser ASE said that won't be covered do to the compressor blew it out ??? We will fight these people. Yes , all the adds are fake nothing good to say about this company Beware, don't waste your money , for a bigger mistake !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Purchased the extended warranty for 3 years/45,000 miles when I purchased a used vehicle. Had to put it in the shop for injector issues about 10,000 miles / 1 year into it. They denied my claim stating that I missed 6 fuel filter changes. I did have to do one fuel filter replacement and 2 oil changes during the time that I owned the vehicle. They told me that it was my responsibility to ensure that maintenance was completed by the previous owner. What a SCAM! Buyer Beware!
