This was awful and a huge ripoff. All I was looking for was a general checkup and an oil change and was quoted almost $500. It's worth it to just take it somewhere else and pay a fair price than to be ripped off by this awful company. Lazy mechanic on top of that and they didn't have the right oil and they tried to charge me twice for them coming back out here with the right oil.

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. I was quoted almost $4000 for a repair estimate. I called elsewhere that was almost 3/4ths of what I was quoted by the Repair Smith mechanic. This is such a rip-off

They deserve no stars

They deserve no stars. My first car I drove from carvana was a rogue and the technician said it was the fan turning on. It was actually the trans slipping. So I was able to switch into a new car. They came out to do a gasket and I thought I was good to go. Nope. I went to take my sick kids to the doctor and my car starts shaking. I park and pop the hood. The technician didn’t properly put the oil cap on and could have cost my engine. He brought out the wrong sized oil cap and than never heard from them again. They will destroy your car and not take responsibility to make it right. They ignore the issue and leave you wondering what’s going on. It has cost me in so many ways, from being carless for a week because of their lack of communication and negligence. Save your money and car and go with someone else.

So I had a job interview with these…

So I had a job interview with these people scheduled for a phone interview Monday at 9:00 a.m. I get a message Monday morning saying it was moved to 3:00 p.m. then I get a message saying it was moved to Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. so I just canceled the job interview I don't know how the company is with employees but as far as starting a job with these people don't waste your time they're nothing but morons and clowns then the guy sent me an email telling me I'm the one that changed the times these people are total losers I've been in ASE Master mechanic for 15 years trust me these people are losers

If I could give 0 stars, I would. For some reason, an auto message said, it couldn’t replace my 2019 Sentra battery, instantly, I canceled and they still charged me a $50 cancellation fee. Customer service was zero help.

DO NOT USE THEM

The guy came out to do a diagnosis. This is covered by Silver Rock. He tells me that I can go back inside, which was weird. But I did because I was washing clothes.

I get a diagnosis text that everything is good. I go out and the technician says the sensor has an issue. Nothing else. Recommended that I take it to the dealership. Cool. Then he says it’s $75.00. Silver Rock covers it. I pay it because I figured why would the technician lie??? I call Silver Rock and they state he misrepresented the conversation and I should not have been charged. They can’t even fix the dang issue either way!

In short, so not use them. Only god knows how many ppl he has been charging. Always check first. Now I’m trying to get my money back from THEM. Silver Rock should not have to reimburse me for the incompetence of REPAIR SMITH. Do not use them.

Pls pls pls do not get your car done here go to a shop!!!! My brother car was worked on n a part was stolen off his car the technicians they send out u need to watch if they steal anything off ur car per the manager n u can't prove it they won't pay for it. My brother jaguar was working it only needed a battery swap his car is no longer working after the tech left his house. I'm sooooo upset we sent pictures of the part missing which was the module which controls the engine. N per the other reviews this is not a good company. My brother spent over 400 getting his key re programmed n over 200 ubering because his car is out of commission the customer service reps r terrible too nobody wants to help operational manager seen the pictures of the part missing but he stated it's he say she say was his response WHY WAS THE CAR WORKING BEFORE UR TECH CAME N WHEN HE GOT DONE REPLACING BATTERY NOT. Part that went missing is priced at 1800 so we are getting ready to sure since they don't care. Go to a shop r else get treated like we did they didn't offer to pay for all the money he spent ubering nothing but a I'm sorry we can't help u. Keep reading the reviews they just jack ur car up n cover each other.

I had a great experience!

I had a great experience getting diagnostics completed by RepairSmith on my older vehicle (2003). Denzel was my technician and he was so so patient + understanding. Denzel exceeded my expectations - going above and beyond - to help troubleshoot my car's problems.

If RepairSmith did repairs for the problem I had, I would have certainly hired them to fix my car but sadly I have to outsource to another company.

I would gladly recommend RepairSmith to anyone.

Would be zero stars if it let me. Hired a technician to come out because my car was having trouble starting. After 5 hours the same problem was still present and the technician told me he replaced the starter but that wasn’t the issue and he didn’t know what was. I paid $800 for a 5 hours appointment which did not fix my car and now my car has new engine issues which were not present before this repair. On top of everything I caught the technician WATCHING PORN when I went to check in on the work. I am being ignored by customer service. Do not use this company.

Leo the mechanic was punctual and professional. Did a diagnostic test and did a great job. Told me exactly was the problem and got rid of any concern I had. Was honest and professional. Did a great job and provided great service.

Fixed My Issue

I was reluctant, as many are, to trust a mechanic who shows up to your place. But, I was kinda stuck because I didn’t really know what was wrong and didn’t want my car just sitting at a shop, waiting to get a diagnosis. So, I made my appointment and waited. Dylan was prompt and professional! We discussed my options because my coolant system has basically shut down. He evaluated the situation and we decided to move forward with him doing the work needed. The downside was scheduling another appointment, but I had to finance it through “AFFIRM”, which was easy and handled through the APP. I requested Dylan to do the work when I scheduled my next appointment. Again, he was Prompt and Professional! He went right to work while I went back inside the A/C and enjoyed my coffee. My car was fixed and I had peace of mind knowing that he would be called back out if it fails because of their 12 month warranty. I’m hoping that I don’t have any more issues, but I know who to call if I do!

Beware of RepairSmith - Possible Scam Alert!

I recently had a deeply frustrating experience with RepairSmith that has left me convinced that this company may be running a scam. If you're considering their services, please read my review and think twice before proceeding.

My ordeal began when I needed to cancel a service appointment. To my dismay, there was no apparent way to cancel the service directly through their website or customer portal. My only option seemed to be reaching out to their customer support through their chat feature.

Upon initiating the chat, I explained my situation and the urgency of my request to cancel the service. The agent I chatted with reassured me that they would promptly handle the cancellation for me and assured me that I would receive an email confirmation shortly. Trusting in their word, I awaited this confirmation.

Days passed, and nothing happened. No email, no cancellation confirmation - absolutely nothing. I tried reaching out again through the chat, but the result was the same: promises of assistance, but zero follow-through. It became painfully clear that RepairSmith was playing a game of empty promises and deliberate inaction.

At this point, I couldn't help but feel scammed. They had already charged my credit card for the service, which I explicitly requested to cancel, and it was evident that their "customer support" was nothing more than a façade.

In essence, RepairSmith took my money and left me with a service I did not want or need. Their complete lack of responsiveness and accountability is a glaring red flag. I cannot stress enough how important it is to steer clear of this company. There are countless reputable alternatives for car repairs and maintenance, and RepairSmith, based on my experience, should not be one of them.

To sum it up, my interaction with RepairSmith left me with a profound sense of frustration and disappointment. This company's actions, or lack thereof, lead me to believe that they are running a scam. Do yourself a favor and avoid RepairSmith at all costs. Your money and peace of mind are better spent elsewhere.

Scam me out of $164.00

Scam me out of $164.00. They charge your card first. Diagnoses which the technician came out to do nothing. Did not place my car on a machine to read codes or anything. Barely do anything to give me a definite answer on what is wrong with my car. I would never use this company again.

Scammed me out of $700 for front brakes…

Scammed me out of $700 for front brakes and still didn't fix them. First of all I asked for both front and back just to be safe. The first technician came out and told me nothing is wrong with my back brakes and that I just needed the front done. Spent $550 even though I was promised $75 off with a coupon code which they removed before they charged me. I drove the car later that day and the squeaking and squealing was exactly the same as before. I scheduled an appointment that was supposed to be under warranty. A different technician came out and admitted that the front brakes needed to be adjusted and he did that. He then claimed that the sound was from the back brakes and that they needed to be replaced for an additional $550. He pulled the parking break up and told me this is what's making the sound. It was not. That is a barely perceptible tiny squeak that is maybe as loud as a baby mouse could make and never the issue I was speaking of. When I was driving the car later that day it never made a sound. So obviously it WAS related to the front brakes that he adjusted. I've contacted customer service several times and they keep giving me the runaround, saying they escalated my issue. Now days later the front brakes are squealing AGAIN. I doubt they installed the proper shims or just used cheap parts that are not compatible.

Chase was my mechanic and I’m ever so…

Chase was my mechanic and I’m ever so grateful!!! He fixed my little Smart Car that has been sitting for 2 years!!! I thought it was the electric battery (which would have been big $), it was the other battery!! He fixed it and now she just needs a bath and registration. Thank you Chase!!

Inconvenient and unreliable. Which ofcoarse means being placed on hold multiple times. This was for a safety recall.The company also has a policy of charging a customer 50$ if they cancel within 24hrs... this should be a two way street I will not be using this company or recommending

Low quality work and worse customer service

They were available quickly for a diagnostic but did not do a thorough job on diagnosing the root problem. 1 week after "fixing" my AC issue, the problem returned. After contacting customer support to look into it, I've been totally ghosted. I wouldn't recommend using these guys--yikes!
