There business model is to entice you in via email with a fair & reasonable estimate for your car. Then when you actually arrive at there office they will take your car for a five minute test drive, sit you down & insult you with an offer that is nothing close to what they initially gave you. Giving you every reason under the sun as to why it's going to be so hard for them to sell your car. In an industry that's booming at the moment for second hand cars my advice is to avoid this crowd. I'm just sorry I didn't read the reviews before hand, a total waste of my time dealing with them.

Having registered online and booked a slot, I arrived at the garage. 30 minutes later the paperwork was complete and funds transferred to my bank account. John Reilly was friendly and very prompt. I would recommend.

I have gotten two quotes on two different cars in last two years. Both of them were ridiculous. First they offered me maximum 500 euros for a car which I sold through done deals for 2000 within few days.

Secondly they offered me more than 30% less then what the cars are been sold on donedeals and carzone atm.

I had an appointment to sell my car today, dealt with John Reilly and from start to finish took less than 30mins, very professional. Fair price paid. Great service and if needed i would use again. Thanks John. 😊

They will offer you a great price over email and then insult you and waste your time when you arrive. I was belittled and treated very badly. I only WISH I had read reviews of this place before wasting a day coming to see them

Disappointed with the service offered by Autobuy in the Hyundai garage in Ballybrit, Galway. Had an appointment but the person supposed to view my car had gone home, someone else had a look and told me they'd be in contact the next day. I never heard anything so I sent two emails, one to the listed Autobuy contact and one using the Autobuy contact us page, made a phone call also but no response to any of them. If they weren't interested in the car that's no problem but it's not too much to ask for a common courtesy response.

Fantastic Service and experience with Autobuy . I dealt with John Reilly , he explained everything from start to finish. I sold my car and was paid all within 30 minstes . I woukd highiy recommend this service and cuts out all the wasted time from trying to sell your car privately.

I contacted Autobuy last Friday. Within minutes I had a rough estimate on the value of my car.
I then booked an appointment for Saturday Morning, I met a really nice guy called John Reilly, he was very easy to deal with and gave a very fair price for the car. This is the only way in my opinion to sell your car fast. Selling privately is way more difficult than I expected . Getting calls night and day mainly time wasters

Very impressed overall. I sent in a request for valuation on my car and got a reply within 12 hours with a valuation between 4.5 and 6k. Arranged to call in and a deal done for 5.6 and a taxi fare.. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I probably could have sold the car myself and made an extra 7 or 800 but for me, not worth the hassle. Very easy to deal with Mark and I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experiencez

I wouldn’t recommend this option to sell your car. You will get a silly offer, the lowest price possible. I find this site an insult, they give a embarrassing quote so they can make a nice profit, so do your research, don’t fall into this trap.
PS: I rather drive my car into the river than selling it to autobuy.

To be exact they offered €6000
I sold privately for €8500.
Deal with this shower at your own peril.
