AcaRent in Tirana is nothing but a big scam! They will charge your credit card lot´s of money on damages that was not made by you. I even had photos of damages from Before renting the car, that they charged my credit card for. My insurance company paid back the money after they got these photos.

The car itself was also old and and in bad condition, and smaller than the one we reserved. First thing we had to do when leaving Tirana was to find a gas station to give the tires some air, as the tire pressure was extremely low.

When signing the contract they stress you and says "no time to read, we have other customers". And when opening the hood they got angry and slammed down the hood. Really rude staff and just there to steal your money.

Stay away!

Accueilli à l'aéroport Al Massira d'Agadir alors que je me suis trompé dans l'heure d'arrivée de mon avion. Youssef est extrêmement compétent et sérieux. J'ai gardé la voiture 14 journées. Seules les roues avant auraient demandé un équilibrage. Légère vibration désagréable à certaines vitesses. Je n'ai pas mis 5 étoiles car la voiture aurait mérité un sérieux nettoyage intérieur. Je relouerai avec Youssef sans hésiter. Sérieux, honnête, compétent.

Prenoto pago e 24 ore dopo non mi arriva mail di conferma. Impossibile contattarli e chiedere l annullamento dell operazione. queste persone vanno segnalate ai carabinieri perche qui entriamo nelle pratiche di commercio che definire scorrettte è un eufemismo

Acarent Sofia arnaque totale, depuis fin septembre nous attendons le remboursement de notre caution de 500 euros, aucune réponse même après plusieurs rappels,les voitures sont vieilles et mal entretenus à fuir absolument !!!

Arnaque totale, ils ont endommagé la voiture avec un couteau dès que nous sommes arrivés, pour nous escroquer 550 €. C'est dommage pour ce magnifique pays qu'il y ait des gens malhonnêtes qui pourrissent l'image de leur pays.

On arrival, Youssef arrived promptly to the Agadir airport, even received a txt beforehand, quick and pleasant service. At the end of the trip he was waiting for us at the car park as well, no issues whatsoever. Be mindful that there is no desk at the airport, all business done at a car park, but you’ll get all the usual paper work etc, no worry at all. We have done this now 2nd time. Car was not in a mint condition but that didn’t bother us at all. Fair price and great experience, would recommend.

Ich habe vor kurzem bei Acarent in Agadir ein Auto gemietet und war rundum zufrieden.
Die Abholung war sehr schnell und unkompliziert. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat alle Fragen klar beantwortet. Es gab keine versteckten Kosten oder unklaren Vertragsdetails.
Das gemietete Fahrzeug, ein Citroen Elysee, war in einem hervorragenden Zustand und sehr sauber. Es hat uns während unserer gesamten Reise zuverlässig begleitet.
Auch die Rückgabe des Wagens lief sehr zügig und problemlos.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bei Acarent ist meiner Meinung nach wirklich top. Ich würde Acarent jederzeit weiterempfehlen und werde beim nächsten Mal definitiv wieder dort buchen!

In Agadir (Marokko) hat die Autovermietung sehr gut funktioniert!
Super unkomplizierte und sehr zuverlässig. Sehr zu empfehlen, Fahrzeugübergabe fand direkt auf dem Parkplatz am Flughafen und pünktlich statt. Ohne Transfer, schnell und unkompliziert. Die Rückgabe ebenfalls pünktlich und unkomplizirt. Kaution schnell zurückgestattet. Sehr freundlicher Mitarbeiter. Fahrzeug war in gutem Zustand.

Je ne recommande pas ce loueur à Athènes. La caution a été bloquée plus de deux mois, sans explication ni réponse rapide. Service client difficile à joindre — à éviter pour éviter les mauvaises surprises.

Terrible experience from start to finish. The shuttle never arrived to collect me at Sofia airport and despite 8 phone calls to the number provided, it took 1.5 hours before I could get in touch with anyone. They then told me I had to walk to collect the car. They weren't there when I arrived as they had gone to 'clean the car' which arrived back still dirty and smelling of cigarettes. The car had done 160,000km and flashed to say it needed a service while driving it. It took 2.5 hours in total from my flight arriving to collecting the car because of their terrible service. I am now 70 days post returning the car and am yet to receive my £312.22 deposit back to my credit card, which they have assured me I should receive in full. I have emailed many times and mostly receive silence, I have now been told to try and claim it back on my credit card. I wished I'd read the Trustpilot reviews first, so don't make my mistake!

Ich habe über CHECK24 das Auto gebucht mit der Vorgabe "Abholung und Rückgabe am Flughafen Bari". Am Flughafen war aber diese Autovermietung nicht, daher musste ich die anrufen, damit die mir einen Shuttleservice schicken. Endlich angekommen, wollten die mir vor Ort eine Vollkaskoversicherung für 23 € am Tag andrehen. Habe ich abgelehnt, weil das Auto schon das Maximum an Versicherungsschutz über CHECK24 gebucht wurde. Dann haben sie mir eine Versicherung über 15 € am Tag empfohlen, was ich auch abgelehnt habe. Dann haben sie mir einen Pannenschutz für 4 € am Tag angeboten und gesagt, dass sie uns bei einer Panne nur helfen, wenn wir diese Versicherung abschließen. Das habe ich dann auch notgedrungen gemacht. Auch eine Endreinigung habe sie mir penetrant aufgeschwätzt. Ich habe es heute bei CHECK24 reklamiert und bin gespannt, was die dazu sagen werden.

Buenos días, el pasado domingo día 12 de Octubre acudí a recoger el coche a las oficinas de ACarent en Tirana, Albania. Llevé los documentos tal y como se pedían en el correo. La cosa es que mi pareja y yo tenemos la cuenta bancaria compartida y la tarjeta bancaria está a mi nombre por mera política del banco. La situación es que la persona que nos atendió nos dijo que no podíamos coger el coche. Yo traté se explicarle la situación, le dije que además es la tarjeta con la que habíamos hecho la primera parte del pago, pero me dijo que o cogía un seguro que costaba 200 € o no podía llevarme el coche. Además por si fuera poco también me cobró 41 € del seguro que yo había cogido a través de vuestra web. Así que en definitiva se me cobraron dos seguros, por una situación que es ajena a mi ya que vosotros no habéis tenido ningún problema cuando yo os he pagado con la tarjeta que comparto con mi pareja así que por tanto exijo la compensación de los gastos derivados de esa situación y el trato abusivo sufrido

No service provided at all even though booked and paid for in advance. Obstructive and down right lies at every opportunity from them even though evidence provided to back up my claims. Acarent Corfu is a complete scam outfit which should be closed down and people banned from the car hire business for life.

Affittiamo una macchina a Corfù, gente incompetente, 90 minuti affinché qualcuno venisse a prenderci all'aeroporto (con noi altre 4 persone). Dopo varie telefonate (a vuoto) e una mail con risposta dopo 1 ora, arriva un tipo sporco e svogliato, con una macchina anonima, senza un riferimento alla ditta di noleggio, dove salgono le 4 persone. Noi aspettiamo che ritorni a prenderci: non una parola di scuse. Arriviamo ad una specie di garage improvvisato e dopo altra mezz'ora d'attesa, ci danno una Panda sporca, con ruote sgonfie e ci dicono di fotogafare i danni già presenti (bisognava anche chinarsi per terra per verificare la parte bassa della macchina). Erano ormai le ore 22 non si vedeva nulla e abbiamo fotografato ciò che si poteva. Consegnata , più pulita di quando è iniziato il noleggio, con ruote più gonfie controllate ad un distributore. Ci accusano di un danno che non abbiamo SICURAMENTE CREATO NOI.
E ci addebitano 550 euro, un vero e proprio "furto" visto che questo giochetto l'ho letto in svariate recensioni.
Vergogna, gente incompetente, macchine al limite della decenza!
Per fortuna sono riuscito a recuperare tutto perché avevo stipulato un'assicurazione. Dopo aver letto tutte le recensioni, sono SICURISSIMO DI NON ESSERE STATO IO A CREARE IL DANNO!

Scam of biblical proportion! Avoid at all cost! Never again!
1. Car collected in the night, impossible to carefully check. It was super specified that it is brand new (warning!!!), no sand, water etc etc
I even washed the car before returning! Deposit 1200E!
2. At return, the lady went straight to the bumper and showed me a tiny scratch (like it was secretely known before). I honestly didn’t touch the bumper or parked close to something or drove on rough roads. With a scratch pen, will disappear in seconds. I was charged 345 E!!!
3. Moreover, my rental and out of hours fee were charged again on top of the scratch to a total of 561E!
4. The invoicing email was sent when I already passed the airport security. I called from inside the airport. At the beginning a gentleman told me to go back to office (impossible) and then claimed he suddenly can’t hear me and disconnected.
Never again Acarent under DoYouSpain! CarJet should not use them anymore and I will make this message crystal clear.

A éviter !
Plus d'un mois après avoir restitué la voiture à ACARENT sans aucun problème (Carrosserie, intérieur, essence OK), je reste en attente de réponse et de remboursement de ma caution de 1200€. Pas de réponse d'ACARENT et de DISCOVER CARS (par qui nous avions fait la réservation) aux mails, SMS, appels et messages... ACARENT nous a loué une poubelle de Célerio Suzuki toute cabossée, absolument pas équivalente à la Nissan micra réservée, et se permet maintenant de gérer sa trésorerie avec ma caution. J'imagine que c'est la pratique habituelle pour ces escrocs !

Arrivé chez Acarent à Tirana , le gars ragréé la réservation , demande mes papiers et me demande qu’il ne peut pas accepter ma carte alors que celle ci a été acceptée dans plus de 10 agences de locations et même celle après eux car j’ai dû annuler … il voulait que je prenne une assurance chez eux à un coût énorme , alors que j’avais pris une assurance via la plate-forme VIPCars au même moment de louer la voiture chez eux . Aux final location annulé et on a réussi à trouver ailleurs sans problème … en plus sur. Le moment même nous n’étions pas les seuls dans l’embarras … un autre couple à passer quelques billets sur le côté afin de finaliser sa réservation et un couple de jeunes eux ce sont fait exploser leur budget du à leur malhonnêteté… franchement à ÉVITER
