I am using Autonom from Cluj Airport and Sibiu Airport for many years and I never had a problem good customer service, good cars ,and good prices on cars and on full insurance aswell my last rental was this month from Cluj Airport and my next one will be in July from Sibiu Airport so I keep renting from them and I recommend for other people to try them . Adrian

They try to find damage even when you haven't done anything. I believe it's their purpose to close on those low rates. They will show pictures from initial car release compared to yours, and will force all deposit on you.

Service was great, and fast! Car surpass my expectations! clean brand new and powerfull Dacia Dustet 4x4 model 2025! Great team there in Iasi office!!! Alex, George, Denis and Eleni Meuca are the BEST!

Am intalnit oameni deosebit de amabili care m-au ajutat cu tot ceea ce am avut nevoie. Mi-au oferit o masina electrica Testa, si, prin aceasta, o experienta deosebita.
Am putut organiza totul in conformitate cu programul meu si au fost foarte flexibili astfel incat am putut agrea rapid. Recomand cu caldura.

Wenn mann ein Auto braucht von Sibiu dann würd ich immer wieder von den Mieten. Das Übernahme und auch Übergabe des Wagen liefen einbahn frei . Auch wenn man Kinder dabei hat bekommt man von den die Kindersitze sogar auch für die ganz kleinen haben die was dabei.Waren alle sehr nett und zuvorkommend, in besonders Petru. Wir werden wieder mal ein Auto von Autonom mieten nächsten mal .

Autonom blocks your card with an enormous deposit (500-1000 EUR) and then makes you beg to get your money back. Their promises are false – you’re lied to over the phone, lied to at the counter, and your money remains blocked with no justification.

Additionally, their contract is full of hidden fees, and even the smallest mistake results in a 50 EUR charge. This is a complete scam!

They called me back after 30 days to ask me why did i cancel a transfer which i never did , i just asked some details about it and then ive realized i dont want it and told them back then .
Thats crazy .
Please dont bother ppl like that calling them thats an abuse .

Am venit din Statele Unite și am ales Autonom Rent a Car pentru închirierea unei mașini, iar experiența a fost cu adevărat admirabilă! Încă de la început, am fost impresionat de profesionalismul, amabilitatea și promptitudinea echipei. Fiecare detaliu a fost gestionat impecabil, iar întregul proces a fost simplu și rapid, cu o atenție excepțională la nevoile mele.

Rented a car online, with pick up at Bucharest airport for two days, from this excellent local rental company.
Quick, clear and fast service at the airport.
Quick transfer with their operator to the nearby parking lot of their cars.
With the addition of a more complete insurance coverage, the security deposit is only 50 euros, instead of 500.
Return service with accompanying to the airport fast and efficient.
Highly recommended rental company!

We did 3 routes on a 3 week trip around part of Romania. Brasov to Bucharest, Bucharest to the Razelm in the delta then delta to Constanta Mamaia.
Brasov driver was brilliant but it all went wrong after that.
The person that picked us up from Bucharest Radison blue at 12 oclock 5 mins before calls to say what is the address of the radison?
There is only one radiation in Bucharest and a simple google maps would show him that.
He then asked if i could share my location in whattsapp.
I dont have whats app so i put the phone down and phoned the office number i was given and complained.
He then got to us and off we went.
He told us he cant speak whilst driving no water in the car like our brasov driver did.
Then i noticed on the car satnav that it was only 2 & a half hours to destination
and i know its 3 and a half so i asked the driver do you have the correct address he said yes.
so i looked on my own google maps and it was 3 and a half hours so when i showed him he said nothing and started adjusting sat nav and on his phone whilst driving) and then started proper speeding realising he had messed up again.
Im talking 170- 180 kmh on motorway getting right up behind other cars and flashing them to get out the way then on the single lane roads of constansa flashing and passing it was insane and this guy should not be driving anyone ever any wear and is going to have an accident and hurt someone you have been warned.
Taking both hands off the wheel constantly and getting annoyed with the Mercedes system flashing and warning him every time he did.
I have been a motorsport instructor for 23 years and sat next to so many morons like this person and he should have his licence taken away let alone drive anyone in any car let alone a premium service.

Then on our sunday next pickup from delta to Nordis constanta mamia hoping we didn't get the same driver it got to 12 and no one came.
I called and spoke to David and he said he was on his way as other driver had a problem!
Why no call earlier than 12??????

But i appreciate David was trying to sort the situation but when he turned up in his own car a Mini there was no chance of us fitting with all our luggage and so i then had to pay there hotel who very kindly sorted with no notice and took us for 160euro when it was a 90 euro trip with you.
I also spoke to david about the driver confirming who it was when he showed me a picture and he asked me to complain.
I would never use autonom again and they should (in my opinion sack this driver immediately before he kills someone.

Not once, but twice these guys stood me up last minute. This time we booked a car a week in advance. We received a nice confirmation email, just for them to message us a day before that they need to confirm and that we need to call them. So call them we did, at this point they tell us that they are not sure they have a car and they will call me back. They didn't, when I called back they were upset with me and told me they dont have a car anymore, any car. I was completely screwed as it was an hour before we had to pick up the car, luckily Klass Wagen sorted us out last minute, cheaper, and a better category car. Will stay away from these guys like the plague!

Serviciul de relatii cu clienti este foarte bun.
Oameni de calitate, in special Tudor, celui care am predat masina pe 18 August, un baiat excelent.
Daca toti at fi la fel at fi excelent(doar cu el am list contact la predate)
Masina a fost buna, persoan din naintea mea cel care a inchiriato a fost fumator si mitoses tare a tutun, eu si familia mea daca nu suntem fumatori, primele zile a fost rau din punctul asta de vedere deoarece nu imi face bine mirosul. Dar dupa ce am aerisit cateva zile totul a fost bine

Extremely poor service Autonom Craiova ! Car stunk of cigarettes, we suffered because although was very hot , we couldn’t turn the AC on as the smell of cigarettes was so strong that my kids were getting headaches. Not only that, make sure when you give the car back to take a photo of the fuel gauge so it shows full, they are using the car and then they say you didn’t fill it up and deduct money out of your deposit. Don’t bothered email them, they will only answer you back once to say they are right !
This is my first bad experience in renting cars in many years . Stay away from this company!

I rent a car in Brasov trough the website. They wrote me an email with all the infos immediately. I send the documents but they didn’t want the credit card or ask any deposit. They gave us the possibility to take the car from the hotel (they bring it to us) and to drop off at the train station. This service is wonderful! Very very useful if you don’t have too much time. The staff is very kind and at your disposal for anything. After all, they asked just 50€ deposit, and they gave it me back at the moment the guy checked the car and it was ok. I think Autonom is one of the best rental car I tried (and I tried many rental cars in the world).
