We reserved a block of 4 king studios for our daughter's graduation from Belmont. We've stayed in air bnb s and hotels in music row over the last 4 years so have a good variety of experiences. This was one of our absolute favorites! I was a little concerned that not having a restaurant or bar on site might be a detriment when trying to visit with family or gather before meals but it turned out to be perfect! We ended up bringing a bottle of wine to the courtyard and listened to the live music before heading to dinner both nights. We were thrilled to finally have a hotel in the heart of 12 south- just a few blocks from our daughter's house! The hotel was very clean and decorated beautifully. The ONLY negative was only having 1 elevator - but we just used the stairs when necessary.

My husband and I stayed at The Mara in Laguna Beach for a weekend celebration for my birthday/Mothers Day. We typically don’t stay in hotels due to bad experiences we have had in the past. This experience had us leaving with a new perspective. Hayden and Ruben (both managers) ensured we had the most comfortable and relaxing stay. They gave us great suggestions on places to eat and went above and beyond to make sure all of our wishes were met. Ruben and Hayden even found out my favorite drink (Prosecco) and my husbands favorite dessert (ice cream) and surprise us with a nice gift. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice ocean facing view. We will be recommending this hotel to all of our friends.

Overall it was great. We were disappointed the owners wouldn’t let us heat the pool with the weather being cooler. We also didn’t see anything on the page saying that heating options into April 30 but maybe we missed it. The dishwasher is very hard to figure out how to run. You may want to put an instruction sheet by it. Could’ve used a few more bathroom towels, so we didn’t have to do wash every day while on vacation. The pool is also significantly smaller than the picture made it look but luckily for us this time we didn’t use it much. The house felt incredibly homely though, and we love that each room had its own bathroom. Only other weird thing was that in the bunk room the bottom bunk had these huge obnoxious lights right next to them that we had to cover with a blanket and a pillow so that the kids could sleep because it digs into your back if you lay towards that way. It’s also very easy to turn on and the toddler wanted to mess with it all night.

My family and I loved everything about our stay. The view of the lake was incredible. The home was exactly as pictured and fully stocked for a perfect home away from home. We had 9 people, and there was plenty of space for everyone. I would definitely book this home again.

Very easy instructions with simple entrance and exit procedures. Perfect for a family weekend, very comfortable.

Customer service handled our small problem quickly and efficiently. The property was beautiful, clean, and stocked with essential items.

The condo we were in was incredible with the most beautiful view ever! We got locked out of the condo our first day ( ooops) and the response I got after texting them was immediate and all was well—we just laughed it off. We have no complaints—our stay was amazing!!!

Avant is a great host. We needed to modify our reservation to add a pet and extend our stay. Avant was easy to contact and responsive.

The place is clean and comfortable. I’ve noticed that there is a horrible red ant problem in the pool area. This is not the first year, so it’s been a few years. And while this is the condo management’s problem, renters beware! Makes sitting there unpleasant because they are crawling all over the chairs and tables.

We felt entirely taken care of by our hosts. The apartment was just as described in the listing, lovely and fully accommodating. We appreciated having a designated parking spot, on site laundry for free, and a great location, central but tucked away. The bathroom is very spacious (good water pressure) and the bed is quite comfy.

The house was amazing. It was spacious, clean, private, and local staff was very attentive to our needs. Our family consisted of 6 members (1 couple) so everyone was able to have their own bedroom and bathroom which made for a more enjoyable trip. The pool and hot tub were relaxing and made the trip more enjoyable. We had all the luxuries of home and then some. The home movie theatre was awesome and we took advantage of the recliners for an evening movie. And we LOVED the back deck where we enjoyed family dinners and bags tournament.

The condo was so beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The views are wonderful. The access to golf and pball as well as the ability to bike everywhere was great. 10 out of 10. We will definitely return!

The cottage was perfectly sized for the 2 of us with everything we needed. It was a great location with parking included.

The house is very nice comfortable and clean we really enjoyed our stay. The decorations are beautiful the fixtures in the kitchen were nice and all the fixtures in the patio were good.
